it was great

I went to the *** ** ***s Boston website to buy tickets for a concertOn the website, I clicked "tickets" but was apparently redirected to a 3rd party site and was not made awareI went to the venue's website day / exact time tickets went on saleClicked "buy tickets" and was apparently redirected to the 3rd party RESALE website without my knowledgeI wouldn't have logged onto a website the exact time the day tickets went on sale to buy them aftermarketThis is a deceptive business practiceI paid over face value and do not have the tickets and this was not explainedOn top of that, my *** account has been charged, and they WILL NOT PROVIDE THE TICKETS AS REQUESTEDThey said they will deliver the tickets ON THE DAY OF THE SHOWI requested them via emailThese are a Christmas gift, purchased in November, for a show in MarchI was lied to on the phone saying it is a security risk to send tickets immediately

That is not accurate information The company has not made any efforts to resolve issue with customer and many others have complained about the same issues with website functionality The charge of $was NOT authorized We have repeatedly stated the same claim We will go to all measures until this is rectified It is too bad this company is so desperate to rip off customers that it cannot come to a resolution We didn't even use the tickets because this is an extreme hardship for our family of There have been hundreds of complaints filed recently and that's horrible business practice I will be on a mission to draw attention to this company, horrible business practices, and fraudulent actions on customers We completely REJECT business response!

Thank you for your responseIn regards to Ms*** statement regarding the "face value," it should be reiterated that Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate ticketsThe prices of the tickets are determined by the individual reseller based on a range of factors, including customer demandWhat is presented at checkout is the price of the tickets as they are at the time, not their face valueEvery ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage states: “We are a resale marketplacePrices may exceed face valueThis site is not owned by any venue.”
We have been in contact with Ms*** regarding this issue and have offered a courtesy resolution which Ms*** has rejectedIf Ms*** wishes to pursue the offered resolution, we encourage her to contact us directly, as our management team is available to handle any additional concerns that she may have at this timeWe have been consistent with our sales terms and consider this matter closed.

Fraudulent Ticket, Beware!
Purchased an event ticket thru Online City TicketsGot a emailed printable ticketArrived at venue was denied accessVenue claimed ticket had been scanned prior to my arrivalContacted Online City by the phone number I'd given them when orderingBy the number I called from the automated system was aware of the venue I was at and they also knew the emailed ticket I was in possession of was worthless
I then got a representative who looked up the info on her computer, and got put on holdThen a manager intercepted the callI let her know how unhappy I was with the service
This company appears to have no ability to know if the tickets you are issued are realCertainly the first, second, etc ticket holder can use the ticket first before you arrive invalidating other purchaser
The email tickets carry an extreme fraud probabilityI had an assigned level, row, and seatMeaning the original purchaser prior to myself was sitting in that seatDoes not seem complicated to have that squatter removed, jailed, for theft of serviceThe prior purchaser knew if they got their early, before the last purchaser arrived Not only could they attend the event, they could actually attend for free and make money on the next purchaser

*** *** was educated to the fact that tickets are not returnable for events which are rescheduled for a different date and that OnlineCityTickets.com is neither a primary sale box office nor the venue*** ***'s freely-chosen acceptance of the terms and conditions indicates that she did make a conscious and educated decision to purchase tickets*** *** received her authentic print-at-home tickets on 9/25/They were downloaded from IP address *** These tickets are still valid for the concert's rescheduled date of 1/27/and *** *** is therefore due no refundThis is covered extensively in the policies

I was charged a $fee for having tickets e-mailed to me, and the drop down menu only offered e-mailing, no other choicesThat seems like price gouging and unnecessary charges to me Thanks, Dixie ***r ***@***.edu
