Thank you for getting back to us regarding this matterAlthough Ms* *** continues to press forward with this matter, we are not able to offer refunds once a sale has been completed and must enforce the “all sales are final” policy which was explained clearly in bold text and agreed to by the customer prior to purchase. Ms* *** has claimed that the tickets she selected for the Red Hot Chili Peppers event on 2/10/17 were $each; this should be noted as inaccurateMs* *** is referring to the price presented by the primary market, or face valueA $price for these tickets was not advertised or displayed by Online City Tickets, which is a resale marketplaceAll tickets listed on our site are owned and priced by individual sellers, not Online City Tickets, based on those sellers' evaluations of changing factors such as customer demandThis means the price is not based on the tickets' original price, or face value, and may differ than that original amountThroughout the checkout process it is states, “We are a resale marketplacePrices may exceed face valueThis site is not owned by any venue.” As we previously clarified, Ms* *** selected the tickets she was interested in and navigated to the checkout page which stated, in bold text, the price per ticket as “Price: $each.” Once a delivery method is selected, a message appears prompting customers to review the order summary with an itemized breakdown of the ticket subtotal, fees, and the order total clearly stating “Total Charge $2,125.75” in bold text. Ms* *** placed her order on 9/and received an order summary immediatelyWe then reached out to her on 10/to ensure that she received her valid tickets to which she confirmed she had. It was not until 10/Ms* *** expressed her concerns regarding the order at which time we addressed her concerns thoroughly. As we stated in our previous response, since Online City Tickets does not own or generate tickets we are unable to offer a refund and must adhere to the “all sales are final” policy agreed to at the time of purchase. Prior to receiving any complaint we were in contact with Ms* *** and offered a resolution that would be amicable to both parties, stepping outside of the terms and conditions agreed upon by Ms* *** at the time of purchaseHowever, Ms* *** declined this offer. If Ms* *** has any additional concerns she would like to discuss, she is welcome to reach out to our customer service departmentAt this time, we consider this matter closed. Even with their final reply, this company has still never acknowledged, addressed, or defended against my primary complaint: that they deceptively use a url in search results that has the venue name in it and NOT their company nameIn doing this they are different than all the other results returned in my search
Because of the url, I began the process of buying tickets thinking I was going to the venue's ticket siteThis company's home page begins with the selection of the date and time of the performance you wish to purchase tickets forBy that point I was focused on selecting date/time and seats, etc
I have attached screen shots of my search resultsI have shown how all of the other resale sites have a url with their company name (especially evident in page 2)Online City Tickets instead uses the venue name: San Diego Civic Theatre
Until the company can address my primary complaint, I consider their response to my complaint inadequate (phantom_search results.docx)

I am rejecting this response because: I did not speak to them on 9/i could not get in touch with anyone even the credit card company triedI spoke to them on 9/and told them there was no way that I could get the tickets via email at that pointI was away, that is why I needed them when I ordered themI paid an extra to down load the tickets right awaythe button that said download now was grayed out why was I charged the extra money if they emailed them to me right away? I will tell you why because they are all a scamAt this point I just want my that the credit card company did give meOk how about this they pay me the x the extra amount that I paid to down load right away. thank you

What a SCAM !!!! I was charged 106$ handling charge for $tickets to *** ** *** *** in Cleveland for the march 8th concert!!! The service charge is NOT made noticeable !!!!! Called the company and that basically said too bad so sad , enjoy your concert !!!!

I am rejecting this response because: No attempt at a resolution has been made by the companyI clicked through the screens with the intention of purchasing the lower level tickets I had originally chosenMy confirmation email was the only time I was made aware of the bait and switch this company had tried to pullThe company needs to make this right and provide me with the lower level tickets I had originally chosen, or refund the full purchase priceUntil that resolution has been met, I will continue to dispute this transaction
