I am rejecting this response because: Online City Tickets has shown that it did not do any illegal
when selling concert tickets and that my own naiveté allowed me to be sucked
into buying tickets through a reseller rather than from the source. While I may have to “live with” the decision,
I do not accept it. There is a
difference between being not illegal and being right. First of all, the announcement of the ticket
sale appeared to come from the venue, but when the actual announcement from the
venue came, it stressed that the venue could not guarantee the validity of the
tickets bought from a reseller. I called
the venue and was told that until I presented the tickets on the day of the
concert, I would not know if they were valid.
The result, I purchased four more tickets. Secondly, at no point was I a provided a
breakdown that the face value of the tickets I purchased from Online City
Tickets was $apiece. The breakdown
I saw was a ticket price of $77.00, a service charge of $and a mailing
charge of $14.95. It was not until I saw
the face value of the tickets and talked to the venue that I realized the
extent of the price gouging. When I
purchased the additional four tickets, the tickets were from a similar section
(“way out there” according to the venue) sold at face value, there was no
service charge and the mailing fee was $8.
I realize that Online City Tickets says it guarantees the tickets, but I
really won’t know until I show up for the concert if they are even valid. Again, Online City Tickets may not have done
anything illegal, but what they do is price gouging and just plain wrong. What should have cost me $is costing
me $574.00!

I received my tickets and the price shown on them was $ I bought The price I paid for all was $and change Your extra fees are way out of line especially when you consider that the price you showed on line was $per seatI won't be using you again

I am rejecting this response because:At the moment I make the "request" the tickets was not "on sale" for any institution or individual, that happens hours later and only for *** *** card holders."Onlinecitytickets" costumer service told me that because they some kind of special seller they receives tickets in advance, and now they claim they are only re-sellers.I contacted *** the same day I order the tickets and we are already consider it a fraud.How can they consider a final sales something that the email I received name it a request and consider he option of return the money if no Tickets were found?this is really a fraud

No problems at all Purchased tickets and I received them via email same day Great Service!

I was very pleased with the speed and ease of this process

I am rejecting this response because: The reason I filed this complaint is because I did not receive resolution through my credit card company. They stated they could not further intervene due to the fact that the merchant provided documentation that the tickets were delivered. My issue is that they were not delivered in a timely manner for me to use which is verified by the email I received that shows there was an email error. I am attaching copies of the emails where it states there was "a typo"Therefore, I am pursuing it through the Revdex.com and the case is not closed.

I got tickets but the price of the tickets I got were way cheaper than the ones I paid for and I have yet to see that my debit card shows that the difference has been put back on the card Please credit me the difference

I am rejecting this response because:I do not believe this business has made any effort to validate that their "seller" is in possession, or ever will be in possession, of the tickets That is what is causing the delay Their seller may be purchasing from a different seller, who could be purchasing from yet again another Anywhere down the line, one of these sellers could choose to go with a higher bidder I still find this to be an unethical way in which to run a business Obviously they feel that they fully disclosed and therefore there is no issue It seems as though I have no other option but to make my travel arrangements, and hope that they can get me the tickets by the promised date I am extremely disappointed in this business's customer service While chatting with them online, the representative abruptly ended that chat supposedly due to "inactivity" when I had responded a mere seconds beforehand
