Dear Revdex.com, Please accept this formal acknowledgement notice of the above referenced Revdex.com case number submitted by the aforementioned consumer. Please note, that we are more than willing to thoroughly investigate the consumer’s said complaints in an attempt to better understand, validate...
and fairly resolve all of their issues against our company. Customer satisfaction is critically important to us and we want to ensure that every customer knows their business is valued and truly appreciated. When it comes to these matters we put ourselves completely at the customer’s disposal. Rest assured that if and upon a full and thorough investigation through [redacted] (Claims Processing Center) we can validate that the customer’s claims/complaints against the company are in fact true and accurate, the company guarantees to compensate the customer in accordance to their coverage and will ensure a fair resolution to their issues. All of our binding transportation quotes provided by our relocation representatives are based on information given by customers prior to move date which consists of a total volume to be shipped. Upon receiving this information, a binding & guaranteed transportation cost is provided to the customer specifying and detailing services to be rendered, with customer approval to Order of Service via Electronic Signature confirming the information provided is true and accurate. Our record clearly shows that due to additional services requested by the customer and rendered by Delta Relocation on the day of the pickup, consisting of additional volume to be shipped and Packing Supplies to be used, additional charges were made to their account. The total Transportation cost for the relocation was reconfigured according to their new requirements at the time of pickup date. Please Note that on the confirmation call from Delta Relocation (Confirmation Department) one day prior to pick-up date, there was NO mention made by the customer of additions or changes to the account. Unfortunately, this also put us in the position that we had to scramble for available space already reserved and agreed for our deliveries so we could send the shipment in its entirety, which exceeded in volume and left us struggling to make additional space arrangements on our vehicle (s), which was not part of our original contractual services. Furthermore, in the unlikely event that a customer realizes that some of their goods are damaged or missing, or they feel that they have been over-charged or charged for services that they didn't received prior, during or after services were completed, all customers FULLY understand that they MUST initially give the service provider (Moving Company) the FIRST RIGHT to fully investigate and respond in writing with a resolution to their issues. Please note that as of today [redacted] records clearly shows that the customer NEVER followed the company’s set procedures about filing a claim, rather instead decided to contact the Revdex.com. The customer must understand that Delta Relocation cannot validate/process any of their complaints unless the customer is willing to cooperate and provide the basic required information for [redacted] to better understand and validate their issues against the company. Please understand that we always try to be as clear & upfront as possible with customers prior to their move date to avoid any unforeseen surprises. We can assure you that if the customer had read & comprehended the company terms & conditions prior to fully signing and agreeing to them, we would not be in this situation. Very Truly, David L[redacted] Customer Service Department

Can’t recommend a better company
I couldn’t recommend a better company than Moving Giant. Some companies lie and say that they’ll help you throughout the entire process, but Moving Giant actually did that for me. I’m a first time mover and was quite nervous about such a large move, but Moving Giant took care of everything.
Considering they clearly state and advertise that they are Revdex.com accredited should say it all. This business is the worst business in NY and this moving company should not be trusted at all with your belonging or anything. They lost my check and demanded that I wire transfer money in order to "release" my belongings, I was essentially in hostage negotiations for my PROPERTY. They were rude and when I was angry I was told I needed to stop calling them and I was being too demanding. They also told me there were millions of people in the US and my opinion and reviews would not make a difference. They doubled my quote. For your own good DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are liars, dishonest and should not be trusted..last but not least the total disregard for your belongings is evident by the fact that almost all my boxes and containers were damaged and I am missing belongings.
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
No settlement offer has been made by the business to resolve this matter. I am extremely disappointed that the company continues to fail to resolve this matter. The company has not sent any additional correspondence via mail or email making any honest attempt to resolve this matter at all! If this matter is not resolved and my request for additional monies to be refunded is not granted, I will pursue this matter in a court of law. [redacted]

I still do not have my household goods and military uniforms. MOVING GIANT still cannot tell me when my goods will be shipped and I need them by June [redacted]. The invoice I did not receive until after the goods were picked up. I was told of a delivery date being June [redacted] and I still do not have my items. I do not want money I just want my goods to be delivered by June [redacted]. When I signed electronically the price was [redacted] and we asked John C[redacted] if that was the bottom line price and he said yes and never mentioned costs for fuel and labor we did have 5 small extra items and one item that needed bubble wrapped how in the world does that cost an additional $1700. Remember that the final invoice didn't get to me until after they picked up my stuff and the original document I electronically signed it does not let me pull it back up. That is wrong and I just want my items here now!

There is no number in your response...again. And you did not try and call me...again. I've called the Revdex.com to get the mediator involved because you're not trying to resolve anything with generic, automated email responses that go no where. There isn't even a name of a person, extension, cell phone, email address so I can contact someone at Moving Giant to have the handled immediately.

Extremely Easy Move
My parents often say that my generation is spoiled and wants things the easy way. I tend to disagree with them, but every now and then I find a company who happens to agree with the philosophy. Moving Giant made my state to state move extremely easy, and is everything I wanted in a reliable moving company.

This is the same response you have provided. My response is the same as earlier. YOU HAVE NOT CALLED EITHER NUMBER we have given you, YOU HAVE NOT LEFT A MESSAGE, and THERE IS NO CONTACT NUMBER "BELOW" as stated in your response. I called the company again - and again was routed to customer service, the only employees I am able to talk to. AGAIN, customer service declared that they have no information - not even a name or number where I could reach someone WITH information. the customer service person eventually told me the delivery had already been made on 7/**, which is also not true. Requesting tracking information on movingclaims.net results in no response. Complaints through the Revdex.com is getting automatic, irrelevant responses. Calling the company results in no information. Complaints through movingclaims.net cannot be submitted. Emailing moving claims.net results in a response to go to the website (that won't submit a claim).HELPMy father's stress level is such that I believe there is a strong possibility it will lead to his death. At 96 years old, he should not be treated this way. (Not that anyone should)

I read the paperwork on how to file a claim/complaint on loss or stolen items. The process has not yet been completed and has only acknowledged I started the complaint process. There has been no refund or letter stating they are looking into the matter that all my personal files have been stolen while in their possession and someone attempted to use my credit card information on purchases. This complaint is still open with Moving Giant.

I am not expecting a refund. All I want to flag is about the lack of professionalism showcased by their agents. The delivery guys basically blackmailed us by saying if we do not agree to pay the extra charges our stuff would be sent to nyc. We had no choice but to pay the extra charges which apparently was a surcharge of changing trucks to get to our apartment complex. When we confronted the guys to show the rental agreement for the truck change they mentioned that we could ask for it from their HQ. They said they did not know that our building did not allow the large truck. So you would think they rented the new truck in [redacted]. Apparently not. They said they had made it earlier in their trip. I suspect the employees do not have proper work authorization or driving licence. The guys could not even show their driving permits. This complaint is for a public good. So that no one gets fooled by this company again.

Family Recommendation
My uncle said that Moving Giant was the company he had started to hear more about when I asked if he could recommend any moving services at a family gathering. I looked into the company a little and went with them. Going from Washington D.C. to New Hampshire was a cake walk
We have never dealt with such a poorly run organization with no sense of customer service. Our entire move was one problem after the other with no help from the company to resolve.
The company severely underestimated our move costs and took over 3 days to get us out of the house. Their movers showed up late each day and one day had to work through the night to get the job done because they didn't even show up until 10pm. They demanded full payment for the additional monies we owed in order to finish packing which was 60% over what they quoted us. On the final truck load they still underestimated the space needed on the truck with only hours left to the settlement of our home. We had no choice but to give away many items they could not take.
Upon delivery we have several damaged items along with many items that are beyond repair. In addition, we are missing many items some of which are irreplaceable. These items include a brand new leather sofa and a love seat, items you would think were hard to miss. We called the company about the missing items and they said they would contact us within 5 days if they were found. They said they found some of them and would be delivering them. When the truck arrived none of the items on the truck were ours. No follow up... no apologies and no path forward.
The driver that brought the original shipment admitted that he left some of our items (including a very large woodworking tool) with another customer. He said he would pick it up and bring it back but we never saw him again.
To date the company has made not effort to resolve any of the problems. There customer service has been rude and offensive. We have submitted claims to the 3rd party that handles all their claims but have been told it could be until end of year to hear anything. In the meantime, we have lost irreplaceable items and we have had to purchase new items to replace the lost and damaged items.
Avoid this company at all cost!!
Roommate Knows Best
My college roommate said her family had gone with Moving Giant in the past, and when it was time to get a big girl job I listened. I went with Moving Giant, and am so glad I did. I like to pack my boxes to the max, and the movers didn’t have any problem with it. Not to mention they were pretty cute.
Super Affordable
After reading the reviews online, it was easy to see that only a handful of companies are even decent at making large moves. I decided to go with Moving Giant, and after choosing them, it’s clear that they are the industry standard for excellence when it comes to moving.
