Moving Giant Reviews (166)

Dear Revdex.com,   All of our binding transportation quotes provided by our relocation representatives are based on information given by customers prior to move date which consists of a total volume to be shipped. Upon receiving this information, a binding & guaranteed transportation cost is...

provided to the customer specifying and detailing services to be rendered, with the customer’s approval to Order of Service via Electronic Signature confirming the information provided is true and accurate. (Please find attached Signed documents by customer).   Our record clearly shows that due to additional services requested by the customer and rendered by Moving Giant on the day of the pickup, consisting of additional volume to be shipped and Packing Supplies to be used, additional charges were made to the account. The total Transportation cost for the customer relocation was reconfigured and agreed upon, according to their new requirements at the time of pickup date BEFORE loading their shipment.   Please Note that on the confirmation call from Moving Giant (Confirmation Department) one day prior to pick-up date, there was NO mention made by the customer of additions or changes to the account.   Unfortunately, this also put us in the position that we had to scramble for available space already reserved and agreed for our deliveries so we could send the shipment in its entirety, which exceeded in volume and left us struggling to make additional space arrangements on our vehicle (s), which was not part of our original contractual services.   Please understand that we always try to be as clear & upfront as possible with customers prior to their move date to avoid any unforeseen surprises.   We can assure you that if the customer had read & comprehended the company terms & conditions prior to fully signing and agreeing to them, we would not be in this situation.   In order to maintain our high level of customer satisfaction, MOVING GIANT Is willing to compensate you $75.00 in good faith for any inconvenience that may have occurred during the process of your move.         Sincerely,

No Tough Time
My aunt said that each marriage goes through a tough time when a family has to pack up and move. A lot of things can get involved and stress can rise within relationships. Moving Giant helped make most of the stress melt away, which is rare for a company.

resolve all of their issues against our company. Customer satisfaction is critically important to us and we want to ensure that every customer knows their business is valued and truly appreciated. When it comes to these matters we put ourselves completely at the customer’s disposal. Rest assured that if and upon a full and thorough investigation through [redacted] (Claims Processing Center) we can validate that the customer’s claims/complaints against the company are in fact true and accurate, the company guarantees to compensate the customer in accordance to their coverage and will ensure a fair resolution to their issues. It is important for the Revdex.com to know that, as part of our commitment to Quality Assurance and Customer Satisfaction all consumers are given the opportunity and necessary resources to deal directly with our company in hopes of reaching a fair resolution. In addition to that, all consumers receive informative documentation prior to their service date, advising them that in the unlikely event a consumer may realize that some of their goods are damaged or missing, or if they feel that they have been over-charged or charged for services that they didn’t received prior, during or after services were completed, they are provided with the opportunity to have their issues and concerns formally addressed, investigated and resolved in accordance with their coverage and contractual liabilities. To better understand and validate all of the consumer claims/complaints we respectfully request that the consumer submit copies of the contracts they have received from the company, they allegedly have had transactions with to determine and validate the company they are attempting to file their complaint against. Thus will confirm interaction between both parties and ensure a fair investigation for both the customer as well as the company. We respectfully request that the consumer provide the following supportive Documents (FRONT AND BACK); ü Bill of Lading (contract) ü Order for Service ü Household Goods Descriptive Inventory (both pickup and final delivery copies) ü Proof of any financial transaction made with the Service Provider (receipt, bank statement, etc.) We urge the customer to submit additional information as soon as possible so that we may address their issues. Be sure to highlight any notations made at the time of service implementing said concerns. We strongly believe that with mutual consideration and understanding, we can easily reach a fair resolution and keep the relationship between all parties in good-standing. [Your Answer Here]
They did not call me.  In fact it's difficult getting a hold of them.  I've had them hang up on me.  I received my possessions on Thursday Jul[redacted].  As I was unpacking, I found that they didn't bother to wrap breakable items.  These are items that I've taken care of for years.  Irreplaceable.  A ceramic piece was found at the bottom of the box covered with my beach towels.  Breakable items were strewn in a large box unwrapped.  A toilet brush was found in a draw with my cosmetics.  The toilet plunger had my pill cutter and surgical tape inside.  I'm missing a huge ceramic pot and other items.  A lot of my things are either broken, bent or scratched.  Boxes appeared to have been wet and art work was damaged.  They hastily threw items from different rooms into boxes.  I haven't uncovered everything.  It has made me very upset.
Moving Giant mishandled my furniture and sentimental items.  In my opinion, they're unprofessional packers and movers.  I seek compensation for shoddy work.[redacted]

Unfortunately I do not feel that our dispute with this company was resolved.  We were overcharged, treated horribly and they lost some of my daughters things.  They did call me about her TV stand, but nothing has been discussed in regard to the rate doubling or the driver stealing $147.

New Adventures!
Going from New Hampshire to Wisconsin was a new adventure for me in many ways. I went with a new moving company for the first time in Moving Giant, and am very pleased that I did. They took great care of my things, and made sure I was satisfied with everything.

Going with Moving Giant was one of the easiest decisions I think I have ever made in my life. Moving can be a pain in the behind, and Moving Giant helped take care of me as if they had done it a thousand times before, which I’m sure they have. Go with Moving Giant and save yourself from stress.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:They just told me to go to moving claims .net and hope for a refund there. My son still doesn't have a crib to sleep in they should pay for their mistakes instead of having a third party company handle it for them. The company states they can wait 120 days before approving a claim. So my son won't have a crib to sleep in until he is a year old. Sincerely,[redacted]

Do It Yourself No More
My wife and I rented do it yourself moving trucks in the past, and this time we said we had enough of back breaking work. We went with Moving Giant, who took care of all the heavy lifting and made it look easy. Wish we had discovered them sooner.

Super Courteous
My sister recommended that I go with Moving Giant, and if a family member recommends it, I usually go with it. Moving Giant was so courteous and responsive with everything I asked for. Will definitely be doing business in the future for any moving needs I might have.

Above And Beyond
My brother-in-law told me at the family barbeque that I should do my research about the important things when my family had to move across country. One of those important things, selecting a moving company that would get the job done. I went with Moving Giant, and they went above and beyond to get the job done.
