The company's message was non responsive It did not address my complaint and directed me to their website to file a complaint I have already done so, and will do so again today I have called and emailed the company numerous times, but have always been directed to either customer service or the website Neither offer any resolution, or specific information about the location of the truck with our belongings, or an estimated time of delivery

Almost Like New Furniture
When I was in college, I had to pack everything up into my little SUV and move it into my dorm roomI’ll admit I thought I was stronger than I actually was, and realized it when I dropped my brand new tv down a flight of stepsI can’t afford to do that with my family, and went with Moving GiantThey didn’t drop anything

It’s nice to see that a good company like Moving Giant is starting to take over in the northeast, considering so many other companies are just plain rudeMoving Giant helped my family and I gather our things and move them without so much as a sigh of unhappiness

Recommending Them Everywhere
Choosing a moving company with my husband was extremely important for me, as I usually do most of the packing in the houseWe went with the well known state to state mover Moving Giant for our move from New Jersey to KentuckyWe have been recommending them everywhere we get a chance

Dear consumer, Moving Giant apologize for any misunderstandings with your move from Maryland to FloridaOur reservations department utilizes a designed program to calculate the measurements of any piece of furniture you provide to form an estimatePlease understand, the estimate is conducted over
the phone where as the contract states there are possible chances of decreases or increases once an onsite is performed the day of the moveOn the day of pick up, our movers loaded additional items in which were not on inventory, some items also appeared larger than the standard measurements calculated when you reserved your move over the phone with your representativeThis did result in an unexpected increase and we apologize for any inconveniencesThe charges applied were agreed to and paperwork was signed allowing us to transport the load to Florida. Originally you paid for full packing services and because the cubic footage increased, per your request you wanted the full pack on all furniture. Your statement regarding missing furniture, I can agree this is unacceptable and at this point have delivered your goodsThe claims process is in place to provide any compensation based on the insurance package you choseYour request for compensation has been forward to upper management in attempt to mend this business relationship. Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Moving Giant regarding complaint ID ***I have had my shipment delivered and am still inventorying all items and noting damages. They required full payment of balance in cash or certified money order and movers were
instructed to receive this payment prior to delivering any of my goods to my door. Business has never reached out to me for my complaints nor have they discounted anything even though I had to wait until February *** for my delivery - my goods were picked up on January *** and I listed on my paperwork that I was available for delivery on January ***. We had to wait days from the date we were ready to receive our goods before it finally arrived and it was pouring out that day which added to our misery. I've literally had to replace almost everything I owned yet they charged me almost $5,for this shipment ($1,more than initially quoted and that was with my listing all of my furniture which I wasn't able to ship since they loaded tons of boxes even though I told them what was most important to me to have shipped). Their business ethics are very bad - understate the estimates by a large amount and then hit you with a huge bill at pickup. If you're trying to limit the cost in any way and tell them the most important items to be shipped - they load those items last so that you either have to pay a huge additional fee or you can't ship them at all. I ended up paying $1,over and didn't get to ship hardly any furniture or it would've cost me at least another $2,000. Then, since I complained about them, they made me wait a very long time before finally delivering my goods. They tried to say that they were waiting for the $cash to be deposited in their account before arranging for delivery, that was never part of my documentation or part of the arrangement until after I called them and told them I wanted a manager because of how bad this shipment was. That was the first time in at least conversations with them, that they made that a requirement. My documentation showed $up front and $upon delivery but they wanted to make it much more difficult for me since I complained. I've never dealt with a more unreasonable company with such unprofessional staff and customer service reps in my entire life. I've moved around quite a bit during my career in the military and never had such a low quality moving company. They outsourced the delivery to another company. I was never informed they would be using another company to drive and deliver it to me. Shows they probably don't have the license to be able to move it themselves, probably lost it due to deceitful and unethical business practices. I don't expect to ever hear from them as there seems to only be people that work there and Katherine says she's in charge, but she's extremely unreasonable and lacks customer service skills. They would prefer to have their business be listed with complaints rather than trying to work with their customers to address complaints and be reasonable when their customers have to output huge amounts when it takes nearly a month for their goods to be delivered. If they had their way, I would've been sitting in an empty house for almost a month (pickup 1/**/delivery 2/**/2017). Yet they don't feel any kind of compensation for all of the problems I've endured from them. They need to be put out of business for unethical business practices.Sincerely,

My wife recommended that we go with Moving Giant after she did some research online for quite a whileI think we did more research on a moving company than we did for a realtor to be honestI’m glad we did though, because we got the best company availableThank you Moving Giant

"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;">All of our binding transportation quotes provided by our relocation representatives are based on information given by customers prior to move date which consists of a total volume to be shippedUpon receiving this information, a binding & guaranteed transportation cost is provided to the customer specifying and detailing services to be rendered, with the customer's approval to Order of Service via Electronic Signature confirming the information provided is true and accurate(Please find attached Signed documents by customer) Our record clearly shows that due to additional services requested by the customer and rendered by Moving Giant on the day of the pickup, consisting of additional volume to be shipped and Packing Supplies to be used, additional charges were made to the accountThe total Transportation cost for the customer relocation was reconfigured and agreed upon, according to their new requirements at the time of pickup date BEFORE loading their shipment Please Note that on the confirmation call from Moving Giant (Confirmation Department) one day prior to pidate, there was NO mention made by the customer of additions or changes to the account Unfortunately, this also put us in the position that we had to scramble for available space already reserved and agreed for our deliveries so we could send the shipment in its entirety, which exceeded in volume and left us struggling to make additional space arrangements on our vehicle (s), which was not part of our original contractual services Please understand that we always try to be as clear & upfront as possible with customers prior to their move date to avoid any unforeseen surprises We can assure you that if the customer had read & comprehended the company terms & conditions prior to fully signing and agreeing to them, we would not be in this situation In order to maintain our high level of customer satisfaction, MOVING GIANT Is willing to compensate you $in good faith for any inconvenience that may have occurred during the process of your move Sincerely,

If I had to pick up and move across the country again, I would go with Moving Giant again. My family and I went with them recently and they made sure to take great care of our things and follow up with us to make sure we enjoyed their services.

Great Rate
Going from Alabama to Delaware was a long distance for me to purchase a rental moving truck. Not to mention I was going to pay an arm and a half with the expenditures. I decided to go with a professional moving company in Moving Giant this time around, and wish I had gone with them sooner.

Like a Vacation
I’ve been so frustrated with moving companies in the past, that I thought I was going to lose my mind. This time my husband and I went with Moving Giant, and it was almost like we were on vacation. Yes, it was that simple. Wish we had found Moving Giant sooner.

As of today the company has made no attempts to contact me to resolve this issue. I am still paying storage on things that should have been delivered. I have even tried calling them to put this matter to bed and I was never given a person to contact.
The cost and time that this matter has caused is insane at this point.

To start your claim/complaint process, please go to the website [redacted]. When entering our site, click on the >>> [redacted] <<< tab and register your claim information. Please have your full name as it appears on the bill of lading (Contract), the legal name of your service provider (Moving Company), your order number or move confirmation number, an email address, and a valid phone number where we can contact you.
 
Upon receiving your information online, a Claim Acknowledgment Confirmation Notice will be sent to you via email, confirming that your claim/complaint has been received and entered to our electronic system. Note: Please make sure to check your junk or spam folders for our email confirmation. 
 
Filing Limitations: A claim for Loss, Damage, Delay or Overcharge must be registered in writing or electronically with your carrier (through us) within 9 months of delivery for international or interstate moves or within approx. 15-90 days for local or intrastate moves depending on your local state regulations. You MUST check on the back of your Bill of Lading for the correct time limit to file a claim or you may contact your carrier directly to inquire about the time limit. Federal regulations allow up to 120 days for claims to be offered settlements or denied. If the investigation of a claim requires additional time beyond the 120 days, an extension notice must be provided every 60 consecutive days, until a claim settlement has been offered or denied in writing to the customer.
 
NOTE: Per federal regulations, you are allowed to file a claim only once. No additions will be accepted at a later time than the date your claim has been received in our office or posted online. Please make sure to fully inspect your shipment properly prior to filing your claim so that all of your issues will be fully investigate and respond in writing with a fair resolution.
 
Dispute Process: If you are not satisfied with the settlement offer made on behalf of your carrier, you must send your dispute in writing to [redacted] you may mail your dispute along with any supporting documents to: [redacted]. A Dispute Receipt Acknowledgement Notice will be sent to your email on file or via mail. At that point, your file will be reviewed by a senior adjuster. If any adjustments are due, or if no adjustments can be offered, you will be notified in writing. If the final resolution is not accepted you may request to proceed with Arbitration.
Arbitration program: All customers have the option to request arbitration through your carrier’s Dispute Settlement & Arbitration Program. The specific details of your carrier’s Arbitration Program are different and will be provided upon request and once the claim process is completed as required by law.
 
All carriers have the right to try and settle a claim directly with their customers prior to proceeding with arbitration. Unless a claim has been filed and a resolution has been offered, no arbitration can be offered.
