This is to serve as a formal response by American Credit Acceptance, LLC (“ACA”) to the complaint filed by [redacted] with the Revdex.com case number [redacted].     ACA has does have free methods for our customers to make their payments which include mailing a check to the P.O. Box on...

their monthly statement, or setting up recurring monthly payments on our Auto pay program.  One-time payments through “[redacted] Speedpay” do incur a fee, which is actually paid to and retained by this third-party vendor, not ACA.  Of course, if the mailing option is selected, ACA has no control over the delivery time by the USPS, but ACA will post the payment in a timely manner after it is received.  We do appreciate the customer’s business and will be making an accommodation due to the possible delay in ACA receiving the payment.  If Ms. [redacted] has any questions, she can call us at 864-[redacted] or [redacted].com.

Credit does not stop reporting once an account is charged off, paid, or settled.  The credit reporting accurately reflects the history of the account.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
The company does not say the all through as you can google there's thousand costumers complaining about the way they do business  they did not wait 20 days but it's between 1 to 10 days and sent to us. Why they don't simply call? Why they don't simply lower the APR? Why they don't take off illegal fees? Why they don't refund more than half interest that I paid towards my loan? Why they don't accept direct loan payment on the principal? I will fight until they really do reasonable action and will continue to write to any girvermebt and court system. To get real reasonable result.

This is to serve as a formal response by American Credit Acceptance, LLC (“ACA”) to the complaint filed by [redacted] with the Revdex.com case number [redacted].     ACA has reviewed the complaint submitted by [redacted].  ACA apologizes that Ms. [redacted] experienced a delay in...

redeeming her vehicle.  ACA and our vendors are only open certain hours and sometime redemptions are delayed until the next day or over the weekend in certain cases.  Every effort is made to accommodate our customers, but again, there are specific hours in which the activity must take place.  There were several attempts to reach Ms. [redacted] concerning her loan. Notices regarding the past due status of the account were mailed to Ms. [redacted] and her co-buyer via certified mail on May 10, 2017. Unfortunately, in the state of North Carolina, there are specific laws relating to calls.  ACA is unable to leave voice mail messages for our North Carolina customers unless the voice mail greeting specifically identifies that the voice mailbox belongs to our customer by name.  In regards to “Smart Pay,” this is a 3rd party service which ACA does not endorse or recommend to customers. Accordingly, this is something that ACA would not control.  ACA does have an option where the customer can set up on ACH using Western Union Speedpay. If Ms. [redacted] should have any future questions, we can be reached at 864-[redacted] or [redacted].com.      Keith K[redacted] Customer Experience Manager

situation.  The issue involves a vehicle
warranty claim where the warranty company is requiring additional information
before they are willing to make a decision on whether they would be approving
or denying the repair claim.  Based on the information they had received
from the customer’s mechanic, they
determined that they did not have enough information to make the
evaluation.   Also, due to the situation with the vehicle, ACA is
willing to discuss settling the account to resolve the problem. If the customer
has further questions, we can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
Based on the response, the reasoning why principle only payments are no longer honored is a case by case issue. In my case. it does not reflects my situation. Based on the lack of communication from American Credit Acceptance, (mailing address in correct) not giving adequate accommodations or notifications allowing me as a consumer with options to possibly add funds to the account before the procedure was confirmed and processed is totally unfair. Since there has been no effective communication between American Credit Acceptance and myself, this has not resolved the issue/ Including the information provided by American Credit AcceptanceACA’s Payment Allocation Order is as follows:                1.              Repossession fees, if any                2.              Interest (currently due)                3.              Principal (current and past due)                4.              All other fees (such as late fees and non-sufficient funds fees (NSF))                5.              Remaining principalAny amount collected that exceeds the Total Amount Due (Interest, Principal and Fees) will be applied to Principal. (this is not being honored, verified by the American Credit Acceptance website, in fact, the payoff amount has increased. Therefore resulting in the funds have not been applied to the principle.

This is to serve as a formal response by American Credit Acceptance, LLC (“ACA”) to the complaint filed by [redacted] with the Revdex.com case number [redacted].     ACA has reached out by phone, and have been unable to reach Ms. [redacted].  After reviewing the file, we have...

determined that while ACA is reporting accurately, our 3rd party vendor is reporting incorrectly. Therefore,  we have opted to delete the trade line.  If Ms. [redacted] would like to discuss the matter, we can be reached at 864-[redacted] or [redacted].com.   Keith K[redacted] Customer Experience Manager

I spoke to [redacted] at or around the time he rejected our response.  We had a terrific conversation and I believe we completely resolved the issue.  We were able to make the requested accomodation and should be all set moving forward.  We do appreciate his business and will be available if he has any additional questions.

This is to serve as a formal response by American Credit Acceptance, LLC (“ACA”) to the complaint filed by [redacted] with the Revdex.com case number [redacted].     ACA has reviewed the complaint submitted by [redacted].  ACA was unable to locate a promise on the account for...

1/20/2017 as Ms. [redacted] indicated in her complaint.  Our records show no calls or promises to pay from Ms. [redacted] during January 2017 until January 24, the date of repossession.  There appears to be confusion over a promise made on 1/24/2017, the day of the repossession.   Our records indicate the promise was made after the vehicle was secured.   Due to the delinquent status of the account, a promise to pay needed to be made prior to the vehicle’s repossession, and the promise needed to be made in advance for ACA to have time to cancel the repossession order.          We apologize if there was confusion over the redemption cost for the vehicle: between the repossession date and the redemption date, another payment became due which altered the cost to redeem.  If Ms. [redacted] has any questions, we can be reached at 864-[redacted] or [redacted].com.          Keith K[redacted] Customer Experience Manager
