Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I just want you to know how many hours and hours I put into just getting back Hours on the phone, writing letters, pay to have certified all ignored Then at the last second you make me email all the copies of everything I sent you to India Which by the way also took me a couple hours because I had to make copies of stuff, get bank accounts to go back that far on computer, scan it and the computer and then figure out how to email them all, not from my computer If you were paying me for the hours I put into all of this it would be 2cents an hour Not worth most peoples time but this became personal to me because I have never been treated so poorly by any CO[redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Hai I got a mail from MrD***, Microsoft Escalation services stating that they refund my amount I didn't ask for the refund., I clearly mentioned that for an exchange ( upgrade version) or exchange with compensation for the inconvenience (times ) and they said ok I don't know why they refund my money backMy money was on hold with them from the last days with that I missed all the deals on Thanksgiving day, Christmas and Newyear They didn't give any compensation but they said ok for the compensation I keep on calling to Mr.D***, he is not answering my calls Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I received a phone call from a representative at Microsoft He acknowledged that there have been issues with this 'red ring of death' in the past with the product I own but said that he could not assist me at this time While polite, he said that my xbox is just too old to support and that they only have newer versions of the xbox available now He said he couldn't believe that my system actually still worked He implied that I should purchase a new xbox if I want to play my existing games like my kids' Just Dance Kinect games I read that these updated xbox systems are not subject to this same manufacturing defect, so this seems like a way to force consumers into buying the same product time and time again because the original ones are built to fail The former chief of Xbox was recently interviewed regarding this issue (http://venturebeat.com/2016/05/03/why-the-red-ring-of-death-didnt-kill-the-xbox... He quoted that the main reason Microsoft was able to weather this storm is because he adhered to the tenet of, “No matter what happens, take care of your customers." Unfortunately it does not look like this really applies My xbox is still broken from a widespread issue that I did not cause and is widely reported to be a manufacturing issue I do not feel that Microsoft is properly addressing this issue for consumers like myself who have invested in their console I will be escalating this issue to both my local attorney general's office and Washington's attorney general, and other relevant consumer advocacy offices; and will advise all my friends and colleagues of the same In the meanwhile I do not believe that Microsoft can be trusted to support their products so I will refrain from purchasing any new Xbox related products Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I was never provided with a service request number prior to the warranty's abrupt cancellation, all contact was made online, and I was told I would have to pay a surcharge to even talk to somebody, which is why I had to pursue alternate contact avenues which were equally useless- "take it to a microsoft store" is not adequate service when you have maybe a handful on the east coast, with the closest one being approximately miles away when I do not have regular access to a car Even prior to the defects showing up(consistent with the LG battery failure, which was openly documented as being reneged upon), I was disappointed with the heat output of the device, which makes it near-impossible to draw without gloves Sincerely, [redacted] ***
