I should have done more research before using Cardpool A simple Google search led to links that talked about how great the company is, and how easy it is to save money on gift cards I received a Target e-gift card around the holidays, and decided to trade it in for an Amazon gift card from Cardpool with slightly less money on it After completing the transaction, I received an automatic email from Cardpool confirming the transaction and informing me that I would receive payment once the gift card is received Only, it's an e-gift card, and I have no hard-copy to send them I emailed immediately to ask for clarification on next steps to complete the transaction, but did not hear back I followed up again days later with a friendly reminder, acknowledging that the holidays are busy, and then again days after that with a third email Still no reply, and still no idea what to do with my gift card I have double checked my Target gift card balance to ensure money has not been spent, but cannot do anything with it because Cardpool indicates it will charge me for selling used gift cards I'm shocked by the lack of customer service, and the fact that Cardpool doesn't even provide a customer service line where they can be reached At this point, I'd like to simply cancel my transaction and use my original gift card I would not recommend doing business with this company, as you may end up in constant limbo like me Based on other reviews, this seems to be a common complaint among users

I've sold several cards to cardpool in the past and all was ok but, in the past month, I had a major problemI went to sell different cards ( value of roughly $total )I kept getting an error message about selling the cards (we can not process this card at this time)So, I tried to email themno response after emails in weeksI tried to call their "bulk sale" phone number but no answer and no call back after calls in weeksI found out today that they have already sold my cards and they never told me the order had been completed and they never mailed me a checkSo now, someone else has already used my cards and I'm screwedCardpool sold my cards without my knowledge and they never completed the order with me I will NEVER use this site againThey scammed me out of $and will not answer calls or emails

I sold gift card to them on Wed Jan 9th for $& $and they have not yet paid me for them as advertised on their website within business dayThey have not responded to my repeated e-mails to their customer service department and I think they have stolen my gift cards

It seems that Cardpool is deteriorating in terms of serviceI used to buy more cards in the past and now just recently 2/19/I bought some Starbucks cards and they sent me a card with a $balance instead of $balanceThe only reason to give two stars is that most of the cards purchased are fine but only one of themOf course I will dispute the transaction with the credit card company and most likely will get my $credit back, but the problem is in the fact that after three emails I still have no response! This is not a good way of doing businessMy loss is relatively small to investigate by the credit card company and maybe Cardpool thinks so as well, but once you lose trustIt is hardly ever restoredTherefore this is probably my last purchase there..I vote with my dollars and they vote this business down! I just hope not to burn many people like this as small dollar amounts add up..and there is always a balance - I/consumers lose, they win!
