I love this company especially Nathan S not only did he make the process easy, he also made me realize I was over paying my insurance and got me in touch with an agent who got me great price on same coverage. I was scared to use an out of state company but Nathan has been great with keeping contact throughout the process and walking me thru the document signing. I would recommend this agent and company 10x over

On or around November 1, 2018 we inquired online about loan options for a home siding project we were needing to fund. A Senior Mortgage Specialist of LoanPal reached out to us. In the discussion Mr *. spoke with us and advised the most beneficial for our situation was a VA 90% loan that he assured us we qualified for although we shared that we never qualified before due to type of discharge. He said this particular loan we would be approved for. Mr *. insisted we move forward with an $800 appraisal prior to the loan approval (while we were in process of getting copies of discharge paperwork) in order to not hold the loan process up. We again brought up our concern about not qualifying and spending the $800 for an appraisal we may not be able to use - Mr *. again assured we would qualify. Appraisal done, discharge paperwork received and our loan was denied due to type of discharge. We immediately asked for full refund of the $800 appraisal, which Mr *. said he would request (email dated December 10, 2018). We made multiple attempts to reuse this appraisal on another loan with LoanPal but due to lack of communication from Mr *** and the need to get funding for our home siding project we went with a different loan provider. On Feb 13, 2019 Mr P. finally communicated with us and advised we were denied the refund as we canceled the loan process. This is approximately 103 days from the date we inquired. I placed an online complaint with LoanPal as well as left 2 voice messages with their complaint department with no response at all.
After researching this issue, I have found that we did refund the cost of the appraisal to the customer. This was done on March 6, 2019 (check attached). The reason for the delay was that the original request for a refund was approved but not processed and the loan officer failed to follow-up on it.
I received a phone call apologizing for bad service and an $800 refund check and therefore my claim is now resolved.

We had the BEST experience from start to finish (mortgage refinance) with Nathan S. He is a top-notch professional who knows his stuff. He was very quick to respond to emails, texts, and phone calls. We felt we were in the best of hands with him and his team. Truly feel thankful that God put him in our lives to get us back on the right track financially.

We also previously responded to this complaint on 6/18/2015.When the consumer refinanced her loan she understood that she would receive a refund on her Private Mortgage Insurance. This refund was applied as a credit to her loan amount. Although, it had been disclosed properly the
consumer was expecting a refund check to be mailed to her. We also offered and sent her a refund check to her for the closing costs that had been added to her loan amount. To the best of our knowledge, this complaint has been satisfactorily resolved
