This company was absolutely terrible to deal with.
Their online portal does tell you total amount of what you actually owe.
I attempted to pay off my entire loan using the information on the website.
I was contacted in return saying they I still owed extra monies. They quoted an amount to me, and when asked, they assured me that there wasn't anything else owed. When I received the final bill, they had added on an additional $32 fee that was never discussed before.
I had a few calls that lead to them saying they would elevate the issue to corporate.
Meanwhile, I was still receiving their regular calls saying I was "past due" on a payment even though I paid off the entire loan before the first payment was due. I had a couple of the calls "elevated to corporate" with no response, only more standard calls saying I am past due.
The last call I got, after asking the representative to read the notes on my file, said there was a note from corporate that the issue resolution was denied. That denial was never communicated with me. The representative didn't have this knowledge going into the call, I had to specifically ask them to look through my notes and the denial was buried in there.
The communication of this company is terrible, and the amount of frustration that was caused in the few months that I dealt with them was unbearable.
I never want to deal with this company again.

I am currently trying to refinance my house. I have been in the market searching for a mortgage company to do so with. Upon doing so I’ve come in contact with loanpal, more specifically Chris d***, NMLS# *** I was told things like my appraisal would be waived or refunded if the loan went through, and false numbers until they were on paper. They try and sell you on great service yet once they had my money the service went out of the window. After I told Chris I wasn’t interested in the loan any longer he tried to have the manager pressure me into continuing because, “Chris and loanpal had put a lot of time and effort into the loan”. I was suppose to be refunded almost two weeks ago. I called three days ago to see what was going on, after calling my bank to see if it was on their end. I was told by Chris that it’s not his department and he would get me the info. I still haven’t heard anything back and will have to file a dispute with my bank to try and receive my money. I would caution against loanpal. One quote with promises too good to be true turned out to be a waste of my time.
Nick, we are so sorry to hear of this. Please send complaint and info to *** so we can get this handled for you.

Nathan S is great to work with and kept in communication with us regularly. He was always available for questions, even with the time zone differences.
Darlene-
Thanks for taking the time to share. It's just great knowing Nathan went to great depths to communicate and answer questions for you when needed. We look forward to the opportunity of working with you again in the future.
We worked primarily with Nathan S. He was very helpful and answered all of questions to our satisfaction. He was also very prompt to return calls, texts and emails. It was a great experience. I would definitely recommend the company and this specific representative.
