rates and fees billed to the merchant were part of their signed contract. LEADERS ensures each merchant has a copy of their signed contract e-mailed to them immediately after they sign and submit the contract. If the information in the signed contract did not reflect what the merchant and the sales representative discussed then the merchant should not have signed the contract. LEADERS has done nothing deceptive, but as a good faith gesture LEADERS will close the merchants’ account per the request in this complaint and waive the $350 ETF. LEADERS considers this complaint resolved and closed.

Service records and the merchant’s signed Agreement. The Agreement reflects all set rates, fees and terms, which are signed and agreed upon by the merchant and is what governs the the relationship between LEADERS and the merchant. If the Agreement included fees the merchant did not agree to with her sales representative then she should not have signed the Agreement. On page 3 of the signed merchant application it is stated; “ if Merchant is approved, any cancellation by You of this Agreement within three (3) years from the date of approval or is terminated by Servicers due to an Event of Default by Merchant, will be subject to the applicable early termination fees and Merchant will be charged a fee for such early termination equal to (I) $350.00 if terminated before completion of the first year of the Term: or (II) $250.00 if terminated after the completion of the first year of the Term but prior to the end of the third year of the Term (see section 22.1 of the Agreement-program guide).” Since the merchant closed her account prior to the end of the first year an early termination fee in the amount of $350.00 was charged. As a good faith gesture LEADERS will refund the $350 early termination fee to the merchant. The Merchant should see a refund to the bank account on file within 10 working days. LEADERS would like to wish this merchant much success with their business and considers this matter resolved and closed.
LEADERS program guide explains that split transactions are not legal whether part of the transaction is a deposit or not, it is still a total amount owed to the merchant by one customer charged on one credit card. As explained earlier LEADERS is holding the merchants funds to guard against chargebacks on the account, which is a common practice by risk departments when an account is flagged as a risk. The validity of the transactions are no longer being questioned. The merchant may issue refunds for the funds or the merchant can wait the 90 days to have the account reviewed for release of the funds. LEADERS considers this complaint resolved and closed.

records. Although the merchant states he was told he would only be billed $7.99 LEADERS does not have any fees that would equal $7.99. If the merchant had processed as he claimed he was going to process he would have avoided the Monthly Minimum of $25 and would have only been billed for his $7.95 regulatory fee and processing fees. As a good faith gesture LEADERS has already refunded both November and December Monthly Minimums in the amount of $50 to the merchant. The merchant disputed his January month end fees with his bank in the amount of $161.95, so they were not paid. These fees included the merchants’ $129.00 annual PCI compliance fee, the $7.95 regulatory fee and the $25 monthly minimum. The balance owed was sent to our collections department. As a final good faith gesture LEADERS has already waived the $161.95 owed to us. The merchant closed his merchant account prior to the end of his 3 year contract and per his signed contract is responsible for the $350 ETF. LEADERS advised the merchant when he asked to close the account he was responsible for the Early termination fee and the fee was mentioned 2 times in his contract. Since the merchant did close his account prior to his 3 year contract he is responsible for the fee. LEADERS has already refunded/waived $211.95 to the merchant and considers this complaint resolved and closed.

could run an international card by her sales representative, which is true. The risk department held the transaction because of the large amount, because it was her first transaction, and because it was a foreign transaction. There was an additional problem with this transaction which is that the invoice date on the transaction was 5/1/2013, meaning the transaction was over 30 days old, another factor which we do not allow. The $392.09 billed for the transaction is only a portion of the fees for that type of transaction. LEADERS already waived $398.00 of the transaction fees for the merchant which is over half of the actual cost to the merchant. As a good faith gesture LEADERS will refund the $392.09.00 billed to the merchant although these fees are legitimate charges billed to the merchant. The merchant has already placed a stop payment on the $40 non-PCI compliance fee which was billed because the merchant never completed their PCI compliance survey, so there is no need for a refund of that fee. LEADERS considers all other fees billed to the merchant their responsibility and no further refunds will be issued. We wish the merchant much success and consider this complaint resolved and closed.
These [redacted]are charging my account $350 and my merchant has not even been processed NOT 1 transaction ! HORRIBLE> Scammers, I have all my upset customers complaining to their reviews as well. They live off fees because they are not capable to do not 1 simple task !! THEY ARE THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN. They shouldn't be doing business AT ALL !!

I am rejecting this response because: The business that I was opening was a photography business that was designed to photograph clients for the Christmas holidays. I did call in to cancel this account in November/ early December. I spoke to one of the representatives at Leaders stating that I was not pursuing the business and was in no need of their services. I took it in good faith that the representative did, in fact, cancel the services. Since I did not get charge for December, I concluded that the account was closed. I strongly believe that there were highly deceptive practices by Leaders for using a non-descript title as "Bank Card" without the name "Leaders" attached to it. Moneys were withdrawn from my account unknowingly by Leaders until I notice a large withdrawal in January 2016 and notified Chase bank of this fraudulent activity. I put a stop payment on the "Bank Card" withdrawal in Jan and It wasn't until March when the name Leaders came into play on my bank statement that I knew where this was coming from. I currently have two claims with Chase for this company under the name "Bank Card" and "Leaders," both of which state the same account number to have the money refunded to my account. Again the fact that I never started activity is enough to show this was a inactive account. Additionally, they knew since January 2016 that I was refuting this claim. Not only did they continue to try to withdraw money, but they also sent me to collections.
In summary, over the course of a year, Leaders withdrew $1432.53 from my bank account without my permission, using a deceptive name, without performing any services for me, and they did so after I canceled their services. Therefore, I expect to receive a full refund of all charges.

These documents also include the Rates,Fees, Terms and Conditions for their Merchant Account. The contract allmerchants are required to sign ensures all parties involved understand therates and fees that are going to be billed to the merchant. All rates and feeshave been clearly indicated in the contract for the merchant to see prior tosigning. This merchant’s signed agreement acknowledges they read the agreementand agreed to all rates and fees. As a good faith gesture, LEADERS will refundthe Early Termination Fee of $350. frustrations, our Risk Management department followed Industry-wide standards and protocol due to the excessive chargebacks that occurred within the 7 weeks this account was opened. The Risk Department released a portion of this hold on July 7th and a remaining balance was released as of July 12th. If this merchant would like assistance locating these deposits, LEADERS asks that this merchant contact the Support Department.

disappointed to receive a complaint such as this. In an effort to resolve this complaint LEADERS has reviewed this merchants’ records and signed merchant processing agreement. The signed agreement contains all fees the merchant was billed including the $350 Early Termination Fee. The application is sent to the merchant and the merchant has the opportunity to review the application prior to signing and submitting. As a good faith gesture leaders will close the account and waive the $350 Early Termination fee agreed upon in the signed merchant agreement. LEADERS would like to wish the merchant much success with their business and considers this matter resolved and closed.
LEADERS has sent the merchant a copy of the contract he signed electronically while he was on the phone with his sales representative. Since we had already honored the agreement the merchant had with Laurie Foster to close his account with no ETF we did not mention that in our last rebuttal, although LEADERS has closed the merchants account with no ETF. This response to the Revdex.com is confirmation that the account is closed and the merchant was not charged the early termination fee. Since the merchant did not mention in his complaint that he had closed his bank account, LEADERS has already electronically submitted the $100 refund to be deposited to the bank account we had on file. LEADERS will issue a check to the merchant once the $100 is rejected by his bank. The Merchant should expect their refund in 10-14 business days. LEADERS considers this complaint resolved and closed.

thoroughly reviewed our Merchant Service records which indicates this merchant’s account was approved March 2014 and this merchant processed credit cards until June 2014. The Support Department made a courtesy call to this merchant in July 2014 and during this conversation, our Support Department was able to assist with billing questions. This merchant also advised during this conversation, she didn’t like the equipment she was using. The Support representative went over other equipment options; however, this merchant disconnected the call. The Support representative called back and left a voicemail but the merchant did not return our call until November 2015 when she contacted the Customer Service Department. During the November 2015 conversation, our Customer Service Department was able to again assist with billing questions and answered questions regarding this merchant’s fees. This merchant advised she was processing with another company and requested closure. Our Customer Service Department emailed the closure form and have not received it back from the merchant. LEADERS policy is once the closure form is received, we can close this merchant’s account.

Merchant’s signed Agreement. The Signed Agreement, clearly indicates that the Merchant has, in fact, been billed correctly according to the documents he signed. The merchant did not use the account but is responsible for the $25 monthly minimum each month that he agreed to when he signed his agreement. As a good faith gesture LEADERS will refund the $25 monthly minimum to the merchant for his September fees and will refund the $350 ETF the merchant was billed for closing his account prior to the end of his contract. Total refund will be $375.00 and the merchant should receive the refund in 7-10 business days as long as all the fees cleared his bank account. LEADERS is not responsible for any overdraft fees since the fees billed to the merchant were fees agreed upon in the signed contract. LEADERS considers this complaint resolved and closed.
