Review: I signed up for a mobile card reader, but was not explained by the company that it couldn't be used on a phone with a case/ or I would have to have an adaptor to use if my phone had a case on it. As soon as I got the mobile card reader and realized it would work with my phone due to I have a case and didn't want to spend money on an adaptor I called the company and asked for them to cancel out my account and I would send card reader back. My Sales rep said not a problem and they shouldn't charge me a cancelation fee, but to call the customer service #. So I did and I got told I would be charged cancelation fee, even though I have not activated the card reader and have no intent to use it. This Company also said they would match other offers, Which is false. I sent an offer to them that I got from another company, which has NO monthly fees and no cancelation fees: Leaders Merchant told me they couldn't offer it since I have not had any charges. This company should not even be offer services to small business, cause all there out to do is scam your money. I can't believe Wells Fargo a supporter for this Company.Desired Settlement: I would like to get out of this contract without any cancelation fees, since I was not explained clearly on the use of the card reader and that I was falsely told that they would match better offers.

LEADERS is one of the fastest growing merchant services companies in the country, we have achieved this through our superior customer service and excellent rates. To hear a complaint of this nature is disheartening. LEADERS has reviewed the merchants account and although there was never any promises made to the merchant that the card reader would work on her phone if she had a case on it, LEADERS has already agreed to close the merchants account with no ETF. As for matching other companies rates we can only do this if we can compare the processing the merchant is already doing and do a side by side analysis. The merchant never processed with us so that process was not possible. LEADERS did offer to reduce the merchants’ monthly fees but the merchant refused our offer. As a good faith gesture LEADERS will close the merchants account and waive the EARLY TERMINATION FEE of $350. LEADERS considers this complaint resolved and closed and would like to wish the merchant much success.

These [redacted]are charging my account $350 and my merchant has not even been processed NOT 1 transaction ! HORRIBLE> Scammers, I have all my upset customers complaining to their reviews as well. They live off fees because they are not capable to do not 1 simple task !! THEY ARE THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN. They shouldn't be doing business AT ALL !!

If my refund its not back in my account I will proceed further !

I got sold a bill of goods over the phone and was lured into filling out an application. Hidden fees and contract terms were not disclosed to me on the phone. Neither was tiered pricing. When I tried to withdraw my application, it was a pain in the [redacted]. Stay away from these guys. That's the best you can do for your business.

I would not recommend this company to anyone, they will add fees as they see fit and will not tell you all the information about your contract before signing up they just want your signature.

We have now had to change bank accounts to keep them from taking over $100 a month for 2 accounts that are not used.

Read the fine print but better yet just find a different credit card processor, google Leaders Merchant Services and read the thousands of complaints.

Review: I was not told about additional fees when we signed up. I had the representative type up and sign what the fees would be. I was not told that if you didn't use the credit card in any month there is a $15.00 fee, plus 5.00 customer service fee. I was told the only charge if I did or didn't use the card was the 7.95. Our company being one person and certain months there was no money coming in, fees were an issue. I called customer service to get a copy the contract which I didn't have. I was TOLD no set up, starts up, application fees, or statement fees, no customer service fees, no contract fees. .15 per trans, no monthly charge of 25.00 waive set up fee of 100.00 waive daily batch fee, attachement to phone free. 1.55 on cc and .35% on debit cards. The paper is signed by the representative.Desired Settlement: I want the fees waived of 15.00 monthly fee if non use,$5.00 customer service fee waived.10cents address verification fee.and I want the fees charged on 11/3 refunded except for the 1.55% on the amount charged (5.96)and the 7.95 reg.fee. and the .15 cents per transaction. which is what we agreed upon.

As a leader in the merchant services industry, Leaders Merchant Services, LLC, endeavors to provide superior merchant processing services to all of our merchants. In our efforts to resolve this merchants issues, LEADERS has thoroughly reviewed our Merchant Service records, which include the Merchant’s signed Agreement. The signed Agreement clearly indicates that the Merchant has, in fact, been billed correctly according to the documents they signed. To ensure full disclosure during the application process, LEADERS created an Online Application. During this Online Application process, on their computer screen, the merchant can clearly and easily see each and every rate and fee as well as the complete terms and conditions applicable to the Merchant Account they will be opening with us. In addition, once the merchant completes the Online Application, they are sent a link via the same e-mail address the application is sent to that will allow them to print a hard copy of the documents they signed. These documents also include the Rates, Fees, Terms and Conditions for their Merchant Account. LEADERS has all merchants sign an agreement so there is no confusion about what they are going to be billed. If the application does not reflect what the representative discussed with the merchant then the merchant should not sign the contract. All LEADERS sales representatives are trained to explain the fees a merchant will be billed, clearly there was a misunderstanding between the merchant and the signed contract and the sales representative, but all fees billed to the merchant were covered in their signed contract. LEADERS cannot honor the fee schedule the merchant states they were told, because we do not have any evidence she was ever quoted these amounts. As a good faith gesture LEADERS will refund $25.55 the merchant was billed for their October 2014 month end fee and close the merchants account. If the merchant would like to keep their account open with LEADERS they would only need to contact customer service and advise them they would like to keep their account open, but they would only be able to do so with the fee schedule in their signed contract. LEADERS would like to wish the merchant much success and considers this complaint closed.

Review: I spoke with J[redacted], Account Executive,ContactInfo:###-###-#### Ext:132, about changing my credit card services from Square Up to another company with lower fees. J[redacted] told me their feel were significantly lower and that instead of paying 2.5%, I would pay 1.99% for credit card. He told me there was a monthly fee of $4.50 and a nominal charge per use. He told me there was a $50 minimum charge required per month. I was thrilled and signed up. The contract they sent me was very confusing with a variety of descriptions about different credit cards but I was confident that J[redacted] explained it to me in detail as he said he had. When my first statement came, the fees were astronomical and well above 5 %. I called to report the mistake and they told me the 1.99% only applies to debit cards, of which I did not take any that month. I asked how I can tell that it is a debit or 'rewards' card, which was a much higher rate, and they said, "You can't tell when you take the card, we tell you on the statement." I was furious and felt I was cheated. The following month I only used it once and they took 35%. I wanted to cancel but they informed me it would cost $350 to quit. I did quit and paid the money but they clearly used a bait and switch on me and I feel no other businesses should be ripped off by them.Desired Settlement: I feel they should not have charged me the fee because I tried to quit them after the first month when I realized I was misled and lied to. I spoke with Josh who told me that by law he was not obligated to tell me about the other fees. He can lie and its legal.I would like my $350 back as they took more money from me than any other company would have.They lied and that cannot be legal

LEADERS has been serving merchants since 2000. We work hard

to resolve all complaints our merchants have as quickly and accurately as

possible. In our efforts to resolve this merchant’s issue, LEADERS has

thoroughly reviewed our Merchant Service records, which include the Merchant’s

signed Agreement. The Agreements, formed by the 4-page Merchant Application,

and Merchant Services' “Program Guide”, clearly indicate that the Merchant has,

in fact, been billed correctly according to the documents they signed. Our

LEADERS Support Department also attempted to retain the merchant by lowering

rates and fee back in July. The contract which all merchants are required to

sign ensures all parties involved understand the rates and fees that are going

to be billed to the merchant. All rates and fees have been clearly indicated in

the contract for the merchant to see prior to signing. This merchant’s signed

agreement acknowledges they read the agreement and agreed to all rates and

fees. As a good faith gesture, LEADERS will refund the Early Termination Fee of

$350. This refund will take approximately 7-10

business days. LEADERS wishes the merchant good luck and considers

this complaint resolved and closed.

Review: This company has continued to charge me with many fees. Most are not clear as to why. Fees that are only explained as other fees. I have a very small business and don't use the service that much. Some months I have only generated 750.00 to 1,000 dollars and was charged 250.00 to 300.00 in fees that I don't understand. This company is very slow with crediting my account. I have many problems with this company. But after canceling because of the many fees and slow deposits, they have charged me with a unreasonable early termination fee of $250.00. This was not mentioned when I signed up for the service. I would have never signed up if I would have known about all of the fees. I feel that they have taken me for thousands of dollars and that it is not fair they now want even more of my very hard earned money. When I joined this service the representative only went on about how inexpensive their fees were and how great the customer service was. I feel mislead as none of it was true.Desired Settlement: I would like the early termination fee refunded.

LEADERS strives to provide the highest quality merchant services in the nation. We regret that a merchant has had to complain to the Revdex.com to get the assistance needed and will strive to make sure this does not happen in the future. All fees billed to the merchant were explained and disclosed to the merchant via the signed merchant agreement or the statement message. Each time the merchant called to ask about the fees they were also verbally explained. The section of the merchants statement marked as additional fees can be used for several different fees that are not a monthly fee. Each time the merchant was billed a fee in that section of their statement , the fee was explained when a call was placed to customer service if the merchant did not understand what the charge was for. The merchant closed the account prior to the end of the agreed upon 3 year contract and per the merchants signed contract is responsible for the $250 ETF. LEADERS advised the merchant when they asked to close the account that they were responsible for the Early Termination fee and the fee was mentioned 2 times in the signed contract. Since the merchant did close the account prior to the end of the 3 year contract the merchant is responsible for the fee but as a good faith gesture LEADERS will refund the $250.00 ETF the merchant was billed. The merchant should expect to receive the refund within 7-10 business days. LEADERS wishes the merchant much success with their business considers this complaint resolved and closed.

Review: Whenever I agreed to sign up for Leaders Merchant Services I was explicitly told by a sales representative the only fee I would be charged was a low, $5 a month fee plus a percentage of every credit card that I processed for my business using their mobile phone application. After the first month I was billed $37.95. I called Leaders and I was informed that there was an additional $25 fee if no credit cards were used in a month, plus an additional $7.95 service fee. I explained to two people in customer service department that I had been lied to, because I had explained to the sales representative I was a new business and did not expect many clients starting out and was told that it was perfectly fine. I was told that there was nothing they could do for me because according to a contract I had signed, which the sales representative walked me through and apparently "skipped over some facts" as I was informed. I was told that it was my responsibility to read through the contract, so my question is what is the sales rep's business / ethical responsibility when guiding me through it? The second customer service person refused to let me speak with a superior, as there was "nothing they could do." I was lied to and knowledge was purposefully withheld from me that regarded additional fees. I repeatedly asked the sales representative if $5 was the only monthly charge, and he assured me that it was. He failed to mention any penalties or additional "service charges." I was never even instructed on how to set up the account and credit card scanner on my phone, so I was never in the position to accept credit cards. The product was falsely advertised; I was deceived and misled into signing up for undisclosed fees.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $25 penalty charge and the $7.95 service charge. I agree to owing the $5 but not the other 32.95. I just want the money back and to be done with Leaders.

LEADERS has carefully reviewed the records on this account. We have spoken to the sales representative and he does not remember which fees he went over with the merchant. The representative states he always tells his merchants to review the contract once they have it printed out and have more time to read it line per line and if there are any discrepancies to let him know. The merchant had plenty of time to review the contract over and over again before his first billing cycle. If there were fees on the contract that did he was not told about he could have called his representative or customer service to have them removed or his account closed. Customer service can only see what is on the signed contract and our system can only bill according to the signed contract and according to the contract LEADERS billed the merchant correctly. LEADERS installation team left several messages the last one on 5/17/2013 that were never returned. The calls were to help the merchant get his account set up and to go over how to install the device. After several attempts they stop calling as the procedure is quite simple and most merchants figure it out on their own. Once again if the merchant was having issues installing the device then he could have called LEADERS to get his device working properly. As a good faith gesture LEADERS will refund the $25 monthly min and the $7.95 regulatory fee and we will close the merchant’s account per the request of this complaint. The merchant should see the refund in 7-10 business days. LEADERS would like to wish the merchant much success and considers this complaint closed.
