I'm writing today to share my experience with JustFl***Before I go into details, understand that my experience with their customer service agents was horrible, including the managerThis was my first, and will by my last time, booking through this third party siteEarly Nov2017, I booked a flight to Ausfor my mother After searching around, Justfly seem have a good decent priced airfareSo I decided to book through themUnfortunately, I made a mistake and did not look at the layover time (23hrs to be exact)on the returning flightAnd sadly, I didn't realized the mistake until mid-day of the following dayHowever, there was a 24hrs cancellation time frameSo as so as I got home I jumped online to do my cancellationAs I was going through the site, I saw that I could actually do a flight change, instead of cancellationBut the price to do so was $And the price to cancel, $ I was a bit puzzle and thought maybe I had misread or enter something incorrectlySo I called in, just to confirm if what I'm seeing online is correctI was a simple yes or no questionIf it was yes, I would just hit cancel and re-book another flight for my mother immediatelyBut what I thought to be a simple call, turns out to be a nightmareThe first agent that I encounter instead of answering my question, kept asking for my booking informationAnd instead of asking for all my infoat onceHe would asked me a few question, than placed me on HOLDIt took to holds for him to finally get down all my infoAfter a lengthy holding time with this agent he than come to tell me he doesn't have answer my question and have to transfer me to another agentBut what he did tell me was, "Don't worry ma'am, we can do itWe will take care of you." So he place me on hold, again! And transferred the callSecond agent finally answered, again requested for my booking info., than 'HOLD'Picked up and asked me two question, to why I'm calling, than 'HOLD'Picked up again, asked me a few more questions, (but never let me fully finished), than 'HOLD'Every couple of questions, I get put hold It's like they have know knowledge in there products and procedures, so they have to place you on hold to ask someone for the answerI was place on hold times from this second agent, it was now 35-into the call, and I was getting tired of these lengthy HOLD'sSo I told her no more holdsI asked my questions (completely) and told her I simply need to know if the price I see online was correct or not!? So I know to either cancel or just re-bookAnd she finally came to telling me yes, that the price is accurateBecause I was already on call with them, I asked her to help me cancel the flight and re-bookBut her response to me was shockingShe told me if I want to cancel (at that time), cancellation will cost me $(Woe What?!) Yes, I was very confused and asked her how did it go from $to $400? Her response, "Well ma'am you have exceeded your 24hrs time limit for cancellation!''I explained to her that I called in way within my time limit, and was seeking for a simple answer to my question, but due to numerous (not to mention lengthy) holds, I was placed on, it through me over my 24hrs time frameNon the less, I believe my time should of been honored since I did called in prior to the expiration of my timeBut she didn't careAll I get is, "There's nothing I can doYou had exceeded your timeIf want to change your booking it will cost you $350, and cancellation will cost you $What do you want to do?" So I got frustrated and asked to speak with a managerAgain another lengthy HOLD!!!
Manager came on, and I was surprised to receive such poor customer service from herI honestly don't understand how she became managerAs I tried to explain to her my situation, I realized she didn't seem to careHer first respond was, "My agent did not do anything wrong, she is right you have exceeded your time and there's nothing we can do!" I went on to explained her that I spoke to another agent prior to speaking to this current agent that transferred me to herInstead of looking into it, just did a quick response, "I don't have and record of that! So what would you like to do ma'am? Do want to cancel for $or change your booking for $350?"
Wow, I am speechlessI feel like I had just been robbed of my moneyI feel that they purposely placed you on this lengthy holds so you can exceed your time so that they can charge you a hefty price for making any change or cancellationSo my warning to everyoneYes they may have a slightly cheaper price than other third party sites out there, but they are no friendl***panyIt's either their agents are poor trained, and is completely incompetentOr they are trained to (how I see it), rob you of your moneyThey do not want to help you in any way and only quick to tell you, you need to pay more Sadly, I could not afford to make any changes to my mother's flight, and now she will be stuck at an airport for 23hrs due to the layoverIn most cases, if it was me or anyone who speak English well or had travel alot, it wouldn't be a problemBut my mother is do not speak English and is traveling for the first time by herselfI worked so hard to save enough money to send my mother on what should suppose to be joyful trip, now to turns out to be such a nightmareOnly because I couldn't get any help from the 'company' to adjust a simple mistakeSomething that could of been fix in no more than 5minstops
I booked a trip with Justly for a trip to Italy in May Without my knowledge or permission the person I was meant to travel with called and cancelled my bookingI was not informed of this cancellation until I called to see if I could potentially change the dates of my tripAt that point I was informed of the cancellationI asked them to remove the cancellation and I would continue with the dates as planned when they told me that ticket was no longer availableI then requested a refund due to the fact that I wasn't the person who cancelled the trip, nor was I notified of the cancellation in which I was told to take it up with the person who cancelled my ticketUnfortunately, that person has moved and cut all ties with everyone still here so I am left with no way to contact themTherefore my concern is how another person can call and cancel a trip without permission as long as they are willing to pay the amount of fees associated with themI don't understand the policy or why
on 4-4-we purchased two airline tickets form Detroit to Florida from JUSTFLY***I spoke with their rep to confirm that I can check one bag with each ticketThe rep said YES ,I asked him three to four times he said YESI booked the flightwhen I got confirmation it said to call Spirit airlines for feesI called them right back and they played games putting me on hold for about a hour, then they said someone would straighten out by 10pm that nightJustfly flat out did a bait and switchThey lied telling me my bag would be included by purchasing a ticket from themI will pursue this complaint until they honor the agreement
Only giving one star because I have to give at least one star Had a horrible experience with JustFly.com and will not use them again Was redirected to a flight through them from Kayak.com After "booking" the flights the first time, an email was sent stating that there was a problem with the payment method When we tried to rectify it, they cancelled the reservation I then called them directly to book the same itinerary, to which they said they handled it and I'd receive a receipt and itinerary in 24hours Instead, I got another email within minutes stating there was a problem processing payment I tried another card, (both were AmEx), called to double-check, and this customer service agent said I needed to call AmEx and have them approve the transaction I thought this was weird, but we did it anyway, there was no problem on our bank's end, they had seen a $transaction pending from JustFly, but they were doing nothing to block the charge My husband called them back to tell them this, they said they would process the payment and we'd get the receipt and itinerary in hours Wellhours later, still nothing, I've spent about an hour on the phone with them now, half of it waiting to talk to a supervisor after the customer support rep gave me the same run around and they still cannot process the payment They even admitted it's not our card They are a scam, stay away
