This is *** ***i received a response from Just Answer and I dont agree with what they are sayingthey say they dont advertise that they are freewell they dont advertise also that they charge before any person asks a questionthat is not right and it is misleading to any person that goes to their website.I was asked by the Revdex.com what I would like to see donei will say it againi would like them to change their advertising and include on the screen beforehand that the consumer is going
to be charged and if they are not willing to do this then Just Answer should be removed from the website by the Revdex.comi would like a response from
the Revdex.com as soon as possible

I paid the $in "good faith" and basically, got crapped onThey don't mention they will charge more once "connected" to an expertIt offers phone calls for $24-I refused, of course but now, there is an additional charge of $25...for WHAT?! I SHOULD HAVE FOLLOWED MY GUT but Im thinkingit's only $5, right? WRONG! They make it known about other "pay for" options so why not inform people upfront that $is just the beginning of there chargesBe upfront and make it known as bold as you do with your other "pay for" options so that people arent mislead and the company doesn't come across like a scamI rated my "expert" a out of only because he pointed me in a different direction that I didn't think ofI won't know if his advice was helpful until I follow through, which I intend to do and hope it worksIm simply not pleased with the "scammy sales tactics"It was a straight "bait & switch" tactic

Excellent site easy to navigate, prompt replies, economically priced and moreI would use again

Furthermore, I'm sorry that you did not receive a satisfactory answer to your questionWhen a customer doesn't receive a helpful answer we encourage them to respond to the Expert and tell them why the answer wasn't helpfulThis will accomplish two things:
1) the Expert will work on a better answer, but if the answer is still not satisfactory, you can ask the Expert to opt out of the question and open it to other Experts and
2) other Experts will be aware that you are still waiting for a helpful answer and they may respond on the pageYou always have the choice of which answer to give a positive rating to and if you do not get a satisfactory answer, you do not have to give a positive rating at all

After I submitted my complaint to the Revdex.com I did call to ensure the account was cancelled and complain to the Just Answer Organization,
As detailed above they did give me a partial refund - after what I consider to be the typical canned answers to the obvious scam they are runningI was actually quite surprised to see the refund appear on my Visa
The bottom line for me is the overall integrity of the organization that provides a service which is not effective but requires a ongoing , hidden membership fee without direct customer approval!!!
I used the service once - the service was not satisfactory - I did not use it again
Bad on me for not checking my visa on a more regular basis,
VERY bad on Just Answer for continuing to charge me after one use and one use onlyThx ***

In my opinion it is not clear
Obviously the if it was clear I wouldn't be making this the issue I am
I reported your company to the Revdex.com because the scheme you have is taking advantage of people who are looking for an answer for a query and unwittingly sign up for a membership they don't want or needYour company was paid for providing the answer - shame on you for charging for an obviously unused membership
I hope is that as many people as possible who are duped by your small print report your practices and understand your business practices

all good, had an electrical problem with my truck that I could not solve on my own , I was quickly connected to a mechanic that had good knowledge and help me go through the steps to trouble shoot my problem saved me lots of time and money getting the help I needed

*** * was wonderful Very informative and great answers Took all the information I had and came right to the point Love the honesty Great place for answers

They were wonderful - Just Answer helped us so much We were able to fix our washer ourselves for a fraction of the cost They provided a perfect solution and even showed us what part we needed and where to get it

They claim that 100% guaranteed on every window of their website, as well as the A+ Revdex.com rating I agreed to pay $if I was 100% satisfied I was asking about an old treadmill that was no longer working There was an error message on the machine and although I felt the unit was old and needed to be disposed of, maybe there was something simple I could do to fix it That certainly be worth the $ However, the technician called, asked how old the machine was and told me to get a new one He was courteous and prompt and confirmed my opinion They had asked for a $deposit and I paid it with a credit card Then I got a form asking me to rate the service I responded that the technician spent limited time with me and confirmed my opinion I was certainly not satisfied with the answer, but I had no reason to blame the technician and I did not want to give him a bad rating I said that I would pay another $if it went to the technician I got no response After a few days, I got another request to rate the tech, but this time I asked for all my money back I found that when they asked for a $deposit, they got my credit card number and charged the entire $up front although I never authorized more than the $ They sent another request for rating and got a very heated response from me They cannot be trusted
