Review: [redacted] a sales rep for Industrial Chem Labs called us to offer free sample of odor control for our hotel. Was told he'd ship product for us to try. Then billed us for product and shipping. Called the company to explain this was to be a free sample. Was put through to [redacted] who told me that was not the conversation. I told him we would not be paying this billed that this was fraud. He then proceeded to yell at me and demand my title and supervisors name. He them called me back and I missed the call but returned his call within 3 minutes and put on hold for over 6 minutes. Review: Agreed to accept a sample of drain cleaner from them in May of 2013. They sent more than a sample and billed us. They have since sent 5 different buckets of drain cleaner for a total cost of about $1400.00. They refuse to take any of it back and just keep sending more, when all we agreed to was a sample. When you try and talk to anyone you either get told they will call you back, which they never do, or you get treated very rudely and hung up on. HELP!!! The call we received from them was them telling me they are sending the final piece of this order, which is what they said the last 3 times they called. I denied ever placing an order and told them I did not want any more of their product all 3 times but still received more useless, odor inducing drain cleaner. Even if it did work I wouldn't be able to use 20 gallons of drain cleaner in my lifetime. They can't even get my last name right, which is most likely part of the scam to help them get away with this. PLEASE, someone stop them from doing this to people as I have read dozens of bad reviews from people experiencing the same issue as myself. There were actually hundreds of bad reviews on this company.

Review: A sales representative called our office in late October and told me about a product they have that essentially takes care of any clogged drain issues. We have plumbers that we contract to take care of those issues so I was not interested. The sales rep then asked me if I would be interested in receiving a free sample of the product, under the agreement that if we used/liked the product we could consider them for business in the future and spread the word about their product. We received the product in early November. About a week after receiving the product we received an invoice for nearly $170 (which we did immediately pay in full) for what they had previously said would be a free sample. When I called and spoke with the sales rep about this, he told me that this is what we had agreed to and that I was confused as to what I agreed to over the phone. This is not the case. We were offered a FREE sample of something that we didn't even want in the first place, then got billed a ridiculous amount for the product. Since that phone call the company has called our office countless times (including 10 times in less than 72 hours already this week). We have no desire to speak with anyone at this company any further.Desired Settlement: We would like to be removed from this businesses call list, as we do not wish to do business with a company with such shady business practices.

Review: In mid September I received a call regarding a concrete cleaning product. I explained to the representative that I was a small company and did not need the amount of product he was trying to sell. He told me that he could send me 2 gallons of the product and that if the product met my needs I could order more later if I liked the product. He just wanted me to try the product because he knew I would be pleased. The company would invoice me for the product, which they did and I paid the 124.68 they invoiced.

Now I have received 6 more gallons of the product which I did not order. A few days later I get a invoice for 367.31. I called the company who insisted that was part of the agreement. That I had ordered 8 gallons of product and they were just fulfilling the order and all sales were final. The sales person said why would I make something like that up. He kept arguing with me until I finally hung up. I realized I had been duped by one of those companies who misrepresents when they make the sales call and then tries to blame you for not "understanding the terms".

He did call back and left a message stating I could contact his manager to fix the problem "tomorrow".Desired Settlement: I want them to send me a return UPS label to return the product. I will not use this amount of concrete cleaner in my lifetime. I would appreciate any assistance in this matter.

Review: Industrial Chem Labs is not an approved Vendor with [redacted]. Since 2006 they will just randomly send product to properties in our residential portfolio. We have never ordered any product from them. Then they bill us for product we never asked for and demand payment. The maintenance director received a call about a free trial for an odor control product and he said he did not want it. We shipped the product back and then received an invoice marked past due. I called about the invoice to let them know that the product was returned and the lady that answered the phone was very nasty and told me I should have used a more reliable shipping company.....I used the United States Postal Service and had a tracking number. She demanded to know why it was sent back and she said there was no way for them to see if they had it back in the building. It was delivered on 12/31/15 and she told me that was impossible because they were closed for the only vacation they were allowed from 12/18/15 through 01/05/16. I told her the invoice would not be paid and she wanted a name for her legal department to get in touch with. When I put her on hold to find that name, she hung up on me. Horrible business and very rude, nasty people that work there.

Review: Industrial Chem Labs sold us an Item for a specified price, two weeks later they call to tell us we have the rest of the shipment coming now doubling the original price and telling us we had ordered more product. I informed them we had not ordered that product and do not ship it to us. It was shipped and another bill was sent. I called the [redacted] XXXXwho was the supervisor of the salesman ZZZ. XXX stated ZZZ had called and informed me I was getting the rest of the order. I responded we did not order this second batch of chemicals. XXX stated he would get back to me. It has been 2 week and I have not gotten a response from them. We have the chemical and have not paid the bill.Desired Settlement: We would like a PRE PAID SHIPPING LABEL so we can send the product back.

Review: In July 2012 I received a cold call from an Industrial Chem Labs salesmen. He used hard sales tactics. He offered to sell us a half case of the products, stating that normally they only sale full cases. He said if we liked the product they would send the rest of the case. We paid the invoice on the 1/2 case. Without contacting me again, they shipped and invoiced for the rest of the case. I contacted them by phone to dispute the claim. The issue was not resolved at that time, but they stopped sending invoices after a few months. I received the same invoice again in Oct 2015.

Another employ at my business received a cold call in May 2015. Apparently she received the same sales pitch and also fell for it. She told them specifically that we do not make purchases without purchase orders, but we would try a sample. They shipped us a "sample" consisting of 50 lbs of sewer cleaner and 4 gals of odor eliminator. I received a past due invoice in Sept for $515. I did not recognize the name of the company, since it had been 3 years since I dealt with them. I processed that invoice and it was paid in Sept. In Oct we received a shipment of another 100lbs of sewer cleaner and 6 gals of odor control, followed shortly by another copy of the 2012 invoice and a new invoice for more than $1000. I verified with my employee that she did not place the order.Desired Settlement: I want Industrial Chem Labs to accept back their product, paying for the shipping themselves, stop invoicing us, and never contact us again.

So he suggested that they could send a sample that we could try before purchasing any product. However, they never sent a sample but managed to send 2 gallons and a invoice. I proceeded to tell him that I had not ordered any product and was only agreed to a sample therefore I would be returning the product. Review: I received several phone calls from a sales representative selling concrete cleaner for Industrial Chem Labs. After several conversations of me telling him "no", he said he would ship the cleaner for me to try, and for any reason I could return it within 30 days. The day I received the product, I called the sales rep and he refused to talk with me. I was transferred to a manager. The manager said all sales were final and I could not return the product. I told him that the sales rep said I could try it out for 30 days. He told me as was a liar and that he was on the phone when I had the conversation. Review: On 1/**/2015 an order for Sewer Cleaner was shipped from Industrial Chem Labs to my work place. After the order arrived a call was placed to Industrial Chem Labs to see who ordered the material. My work unit was told that I ordered the material. At that point Industrial Chem Labs was advised that I could have not placed the order, because I had been out on Medical Leave, which I was out on for 10 months. Industrial Chem Labs was told to send a [redacted] pick-up tag. They never did this even after being told several times on the phone and by Certified Mail, Article Number [redacted]. They are steady sending past due statements. I want this to stop and I want a [redacted] pick-up ticket sent or otherwise the material will be destroyed.Desired Settlement: I do not want this company to contact Brown Creek Corr Inst again by either phone or mail and I want the product picked up at no charged. Review: They contacted property several times trying to sell or get us to try a product. They finally got ahold of a new inexperienced asstistant and she agreed to try what she thought was a free trial of one of their products. They billed us for the product of course because there selling method is a scam. Review: Industrial Chem Labs called my [redacted]'s line one afternoon in late October. I picked up since he was away from his desk. When I told the man on the other end of the phone that he wasn't in I would gladly take a message for him to call. He insisted on asking me questions about practices here at our job. Again I told him I had no idea what the answers were to them and he would need to speak to the [redacted] who was not there at the time. Then the sales person continued to talk saying he would send my [redacted] a free sample of his product (some type of sewer cleaner) and went on and on about how the city and county uses it. At this point I was getting uncomfortable and kept telling the sales person I'd have the [redacted] call him when he gets back. So he asks for my name which I thought was for his reference. He then went over our address info and said he would send us a free sample to try his product. By this time I was anxious to get him off the phone so I asked him for his call back number once more (which he gave this time) and told him thank you and hung up. The product arrived a few days later and my [redacted] did not have any use for it but since it was a free sample, we just kept it on the side.

Yesterday, I received an invoice for $345.51 for the "free sample" + shipping costs. I tried emailing this company a few times trying to get a response from them but nothing. I also did go onto the Revdex.com and saw that there were numerous complaints like this one and when they tried to communicate with this company they were very hostile towards them. I don't want the hostility, I just want them to take back this product and leave us alone.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate it if this company would just give us their [redacted] tag # to send back the product we have no use for. From there reverse these charges for items we never agreed to pay for and then just add us to their DO NOT CALL LIST.

Review: we received a unsolicited phone call from a salesperson from the company offering us chemicals for the maintenance of the motel. The salesperson offered to send a sample of the chemicals. The next day the employee received a follow up call where they told the employee they were going to ship a catolog to them. A few days later we received a package with a 25 lbs container of the product, as well as a bill for the product. I had the employee call the company the next day to discuss the product and the bill. The company refuses to accept the chemical back and claims it was ordered. We did not order this chemical and will not pay for items not ordered.

I feel this is a scam that this company pulls on customers. When I called the company the manager I talked to still refused to accept the product back. And threatened to fill out a complaint against the motel if we do not pay for it.. The manager also threatened to claim he has nightmares because I used a cuse word while I was on the phone with me. As well as telling me I'm un American for wanting to return the products, and that he thought I must be someone from India other than I don't have the accent.Desired Settlement: I want to return the chemicals to the company.
