At Hyundai Motor Finance (HMF) our customer satisfaction is very important to us We thank you for bringing this issue to our attention and allowing us the opportunity to investigate and respond to this complaint A review of our records indicates that the customer entered into a lease contract for a Hyundai Elantra Her contract shows that upon signing, she paid a total of $as cash down From those monies, she paid the first monthly payment of $249.99, and a Doc fee of $75.00, totaling $in upfront fees After the vehicle was declared a total loss by her insurance company, HMF, as the owner of the vehicle, received monies from the insurance company After deducting the upfront fees that were due upon contract signing (these monies are not refundable), we are able to refund the customer $from the insurance proceeds HMF would like to thank the customer for taking the time to contact us Should the customer require any additional assistance, she may contact a Customer Service supervisor at 1-800-523-4030, Monday-Friday, 8AM-9PM EST

HMF did not receive a registration renewal notice from the New Jersey DMV. The customer previously contacted HMF by phone to request a limited power of attorney, which was mailed to the address on file on 8/7/2017, which will allow the customer to renew their registration with the New Jersey DMV. I know I dont, and they are well aware of that which why they came up with thatNo where in the respinse they mentioned why they refused me the opportunity for the second appraisal, if the charges were real why being so shady about the second appraisalI contacted them within business days after the date they sent me the invoiceWhich according to the NY state attorney general's office I have days to request an appraisal after returning the carThey had no right to send that car for auction in Pennyslyvania while I still had the right for a second appraisalThey aslo mentioned "we have agreed to remove the charge for damage to the hood of the vehicle", which is not entirely trueWhat they offered me was 50% of that one chargeSo basically they best deal they will give me is a $off the $2,billNo thank you I would rather fight this issue at courtI leased a Hyundai Elantra not a BMW or AudiI wish I had the ability to post the pictures of that car here at Revdex.com, so the world could see what type of BS charges they billed me forThis company is a SCAM and am never doing business with them again Regards, [redacted]

At Hyundai Motor Finance (HMF) our customer satisfaction is very important to us We thank you for bringing this issue to our attention and allowing us the opportunity to investigate and respond to this complaint We received first contact from the customer to request the termination of their lease under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) on 4/28/The required written request with supporting documentation was received by HMF from the customer on 5/4/and reviewed the following dayThe customer contacted us again on 5/9/and was advised that a lease Termination Packet would be mailed to her and must be completed and returned to HMF for the lease return to be processed under the Servicemembers Civil Relief ActThe customer was also advised on 5/9/2016, that if she is unable to complete the packet, a third party, authorized by Power of Attorney, may complete the transaction on her behalfThe referenced packet was mailed to the customer on 5/13/ Currently HMF is still pending the return of the Termination PacketA second copy of the required packet has been mailed to an alternate address provided by the customer on 5/23/Per the customer’s request we have disabled the automatic payments and will refund the payment debited after the vehicle return date Until the Termination Packet is completed and returned to HMF, we are unable to process her request to terminate the lease under the SCRA HMF would like to thank the customer for taking the time to contact us We are committed to providing our customers with excellent service and their satisfaction is important to us Should the customer require any additional assistance, he may contact a Customer Service supervisor at 1-800-523-4030, Monday-Friday, 8AM-9PM EST

It appears the customer sent this check to Hyundai Motor America, not Hyundai Motor Finance The person he states signed for the package works for Hyundai Motor America in Fountain Valley, CA As such, we must now wait for the check to be forwarded to the correct company in the correct city Please advise our customer to check on his account in 10-business days for an update Should the customer require any additional assistance, he may contact a Customer Service supervisor at 1-800-523-4030, Monday-Friday, 8AM-9PM EST
