As I informed the agent that I spoke with on 5/the notice that was sent out in Jan was for past due bal during the time when I was having to replace a transmission on a car that I had just purchased in which was sold to me knowingly by the dealership with a bad transmission in which Gm financed.During this time I pleaded for arrangements due to the circumstance not being my fault.I was denied for over 2mos because according to gm the loan was too new.The loan was also too new to have to replace a transmission as well.If GM did not hold any responsibility they would have not paid any amount towards replacing the transmission.My account would have not went into repossession status if I was not deceived during the purchasing process.So with that being said, that first repossession status that the account went in should not count towards me.That entire situation turned my household and finances upside down and I am still feeling and living the effects of it.I am rejecting this response from Gm and will be consulting with a consumer attorney.This has caused and is still causing me financial,mental and physical trauma.Im in jeopardy of losing my home,my credit card bills fell behind as well as other things due to this ring of deception by the dealership and GM.GM should do a better job at screening before they finance a car

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
I will add that GM Financial really needs to re-evaluate their process and policies with refunding people money that is owed to customers It shouldn’t require over a dozen phone calls, a Revdex.com complaint and over a month of waiting for a refund, especially when the money was pulled from a checking account AFTER the loan was already paid off No other financial institution has been this difficult to work with as GM Financial I will never consider another GM product in the future nor will I ever consider GM Financial for financing ever again When looking to see how a company should NOT conduct business, look no further than GM Financial.

It is obvious that this business does not want to settle this disputeThey are WRONG! That bankruptcy that was filed DID NOT INCLUDE either the cars nor the houseThey are liars and I have the bankruptcy case number if they want to clarify just how wrong they really areWhy would we have paid it off if it was included??? If you include purchases such as that in a bankruptcy then you do not pay it off duh! part of the Lease Assumption process, the lease account must be current throughout the entire process
As your account was set up on the ACH payment plan, the regular base rent payment in the amount of $drafted on the date it was dueOn July 8, 2016, GM Financial received a payment in the amount of $1,These funds were applied as follows; $for the assumption fee, $for New York upfront tax, $for the August 1, base rent payment, and $for the assumption fee tax
GM Financial is unable to refund the July 1, scheduled base rent payment as the funds were billed and due prior to the completion of the assumption processOur records reflect that on June 30, 2016, you were informed the assumption process could take up to days to be completedThe Confirmation Letter was sent to you in error, prior to the completion of the assumptionOur records further reflect the assumption process has concluded and you are no longer liable for future payments

I am rejecting this response because: GM has held my lease payments now for days and after more than phone calls, each lasting around minutes minimum, GM cannot confirm they have released my money. They have also not agreed to pay for overdraft charges from my bank because of this situation. I received a response from GM via Revdex.com on 5/and today is 5/and still no refund money has been sent
