"Gutting" these copies involve removing the plastic wrap around the case, removing the contents from the case such as the disc, any booklets or downloadable content vouchers and safely transferring them to a disc sleeve. This sleeve is then stored away in a locked drawer, and is not used in any fashion. Once the case is completely empty, a price sticker is placed on the case, and then placed in the new section for display on the sales floor. Once a store has sold all other copies of that title, and only the 'gutted' copy remains. If this copy is sold, a store representative will pull the disc sleeve from the drawer and place the contents back in the case and if available, they will reseal the case either with a resealabale bag or label. Because the 'gutted' copy is never actually used, it is still considered new and sold at the new price. We understand that not all guests are comfortable with purchasing these copies, and if that is the case, we always have alternative solutions to offer to our guests such as finding a neighboring location that has non-gutted copies, ordering the copy online through the warehouse to either be shipped to your home or preferred store location, or even selling digital copies if available. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to let me know- I am here for you.Best Regards,[redacted]|Revdex.com Liaison| GameStop | Service Matters
