One star is too much. We have been customers for years, we tried calling to get online access set up and the run around has been beyond ridiculous. Without exaggerating, we have spent more than 9 hours on the phone with First Data in the past 4 months and no resolution to any of our issues. They even charged us 3 days rental for a new debit machine that their technical support could not get to work on WiFi and refused to reverse the charges. We will be looking for another provider.

The WORST customer service experiences.
Our POS equipement lease with First Data Global Leasing was expiring in a few months. Our business decided to change providers. To ensure all final payments were made and returned equipment received, several calls were required with their customer service. Every single agent was disgruntle and out right rude. Agressively worded collection letters and penalty charges, including threats of credit bureau reporting, started arriving every two weeks after payment was 30 days past due. This was the first time in 4 years past due and a result of removing their direct debit access as I tried to work with them to confirmed final payment required and couriered a cheque. My final interaction ... Agent: (with no emotion) Lease number and merchant number. Me: Hello, just calling to confirm the closing payment was received. The lease number is . Agent: The account is closed. Me: Okay ... Good News! (with a smile on my voice). Agent: ... (dead air) ... (no response)
The personnel service I receive from Fungai M he is so great at getting right back to me with the answers to my concerns. Fungai has walked me through every step of the process with patience and thoughtfulness. He provides a service which in my opinion is rarely seen today. Every problem, every question, every concern is addressed rapidly. Cannot provide a higher recommendation for service and representative.
I have always received prompt and effective service from my representative (Fungai M), who has been helpful to me whenever I have needed assistance.

Excellent service, was easy to work with when we had to switch banks
Very Pleased. Mike B, my consultant was and is very honest in what they could offer me and is still very much in touch with me and making sure all is well. Mike, as well as the techs, give clear instructions and are patient with training me, helping me with navigation on the site, and use for virtual terminal and invoicing. No hidden fees or surprises so far and shouldn't be with how they have taken care of me as a customer- refreshing!
First I must state this is about the First Data credit card machine leasing company not the financial part of First data, I have not one issue with them. I started using First data 2 years ago, due to health reasons I had to retire. I called first data to tell them of this, they immediately got defensive and told me I had signed a 4 year contract and I was resposible for the remainder of the contract. I returned the machine and asked for a copy of the signed contract, they did not send it. Within a few weeks I started getting messages on my machine to call about the money I owe and how it was my responsibility to pay the remainder of their contract.. I called the number they left and left a message that I required a copy of the "signed" contract. I did did this twice but got no response, finally I got to talk to the lady and told her I needed a copy of the contract and she agreed to send me it. When I received the contract there were signatures with my name but they were not signed by me. I called the number and talked to anther person who told me I had signed a contract and was responsible for the remainder of it (this is their mantra) every person I talk to must read it off a place card because in get it word for word whenever I talk to anyone and they get more aggressive and agitated if you disrupt them they told me that the signature was signed by their computer and the if I used their machine once that meant I agreed to their terms that I was never told about. every time I called to talk to somebody they refuse to listen to me and keep going with the you signed a 4 year contract ect ect . When you close a business after using a company like this you realy find out who the bottom feeders real are. BEWARE OF FIRST DATA CREDIT CARD MACHINE COMPANY
