My rates when averaged out were WAY higher than what was told to me over and over again on the phone when setting up. Cancelling the lease on the worthless equipment will cost me thousands. Worst scam I have ever fallen for.

I have been with First Data for many years now. No one has been able to beat their rates (so I have stopped trying) and the service and support is first rate. Dealing with Dan and his crew is supporting local business unlike dealing with banks.

I have had the "pleasure" of dealing with Money Network for the past 3 days trying to come to a resolution with ZERO results! Customer Service was THE WORST I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED! My call was escalated to multiple "supervisors" who refused to even listen to the concerns or the problem. I went as far as to go to my personal bank to have management from there attempt to contact Money Network to help me obtain access to MY FUNDS! NOTHING!! The local news station will also be hearing about this with hopes that they can figure out how a company with 87+ negative reviews and THOUSANDS of complaints can have an A+ rating?!?!

Worst possible customer service and technical support. Hard to contact a real person in a timely manner, especially when having technical issues. No option to speak with a real person, all I had was a simple question that I am sure I will have to wait forever for a response.

Tried canceling my account several times. They keep giving me different numbers to call and then the number turns out to not be real. How is this even a real business when they give out fake phone numbers. I had to block them from charging my bank account. How do they have an A+ rating. Something is definitely not right and very fishy. If I pulled this kind of stuff with my business I'd be in jail. Just don't get it. Big SCAM!

HOW is this company and A+??? 85 NEGATIVE reviews and 1,015 COMPLAINTS. No positive reviews. This is one of the WORST companies on the plant and the FAKE Revdex.com gives them an A+. What is going on here????

I got stock with this company thru Touch Suite. I used the Machine to make only two transactions and they want me to pay $40.00 every month. Even thought I do not use that machine any more. They want to still your money. They do not want to brake the agreement that I did not see since they did not give me a hard copy. They do everything really fishy for you to sign and they do not want to do anything with you to be happy. Get away from this company and TouchSuite. They are a rip off company and First Data Merchant Services has Alternate Business Names. Look on the Revdex.com before any Work. They Tell you to call1-800-326-7982 and they do nothing for you

If you can avoid these people defiantly do, avoid them like they are the plague. Horrible customer service. Id write more of a review but I wasted enough time dealing with them today. Smart people learn from the mistakes of others, and learn from my mistake dont use them.

I stopped at 4590 summer ave Memphis,tn and purchased $10.00 worth of gas at the pump. First Data then proceeded to EMPTY my bank account and now my money is being held hostage til they decide to return it. This company is HORRIBLE!! I am a single father that needed that money to make it the rest of the week and now it's 4th of july and I have noway to provide for my Family. What I I am going to do is start a campaign on twitter and Facebook to see how many others they have stolen from and file a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT to get this company shut down!!!

I called to open the account with this company and explain to them that I was currently using square and it was free. They told me that they could give me a free reader free services and a lower processing fee when I chose to use my credit card processing. I don't use the service all that often with Square and I explain this to this company and they said don't worry about it it's not a big deal we won't charge you unless you use our service I now have close to $1000 in fines and fees from this company and I have never once swiped a single transaction through their services. They are horrible they are terrible and they keep trying to charge

Our Experience has been very similar to every one elses. how did I get stuck in this contract and why will it cost me so much to get out of it? about 18 months a go we had a merchant service company come to us saying they could save us money this was true but what they didnt say was they were going to con us into a system that we told them we didnt need. the merchant service representative said that we had to get the First Data lease in order to start their service we said we didnt want to but they did not give us an option to forgo it. after a year we called back and were notified that our reprentative was let go for leading people on. we are now stuck in a 4 year contract. I asked to end the lease and they have 2 options one where you return the equipment and one where we buy it from them. the options cost about the same. first we were lied to into a contract which seems like a breach of contract in itself. and second they will not end it with out paying absurdly to much. I have never used the equipment and do not plan to. I have read the consumer affairs that has 31 1 star reviews this year and complaints all over that feel this company is operating unethically. we need to stop this company as it hurts small business and is unethical

First Data has stolen money from us and refuses to give it back. They authorize charges, the customer leaves the store with merchandise, and then they don't transfer the money into our bank account. We have been trying for months to resolve this and all we get are agents on the other line who keep asking the same questions, continue to give us non-information, continue to transfer us to people who can'e help us, and around and around it goes. Meanwhile, they have tens of thousands of our dollars and there are countless customers who have walked out of our store without having to pay for the merchandise because of First Data's fraudulent practices of authorizing sales and not transferring the money into our merchant account. I am just one merchant. There must be many others out there who are supporting Frank B's $120,000,000 salary - all at the expense of hard working merchants like us. It's unjust and obscene and someone needs to rectify this.

Stay away from this fraudulent company. A customer that did 5 AMEX charges totaling $90 filed a dispute. First Data sent me the dispute and charged me $125.00 besides the $90.00. I contacted the customer and the customer called in to cancel the dispute. I received a notice for First Data of the reversal. They then charged me another $125.00. After contacting them and going back and forth for over two months they came up with a briliant idea. "We charge $25.00 for every dispute and for every reversal". In other words, you shouldn't try to resolve a dispute with a customer because First Data is going to rob you more money than you receive from the reversal. They are liars and theives. There is no company in the world charging money for reversals. Even the first $125 is way too much. Again, never try doing business with them. It will cost you much more than you can imagine.

We purchased a business that was using First Data Merchant Services and part of the purchase was taking over their lease agreement. Although we filled out the necessary paperwork the day we took ownership of the company it took almost 3 months for First Data to start processing everything through our new business. We recently sold the business and the new owner wasn't interested in continuing business with First Data. We contact our rep who tried to "sell" us on the benefits of forcing the new owner to use First Data. We wrote back that he wasn't interested and we just want everything closed out and we'll pay to break the lease. We were told to call leasing and we paid over $1000 and returned our equipment. We were then charged for two and a half more months of services, how can we receive services for equipment we returned?? Upon contacting them I was told they can't refund us. When I asked for clarification on the charges they kept referring us to the statements, which didn't match the charges withdrawn from our account. I know this review won't solve anything for me with First Data but hopefully it will help others stay away from this company that obviously could care less about customers based on my experience and over 1,000 complaints made on this website alone.

This company lies to you and gets you into a 3-4 year lease without your knowledge and overcharge you when you want to get out. They have agents out there who like to get you all set up and then disappear to never be seen again and their machines are terrible, you need different software updates to accept all different cards.
You can return your equipment and they will still continue to charge you and then tell you that you need to pay off your difference of your lease term which they told me would be $3000.00

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. Sign their lease at your peril. Totally stacked in their favor. We returned their equipment years ago and still have to pay their monthly lease.
Also still charging us for personal property tax annually.

This company is HORRIBLE to work with! With all of the charming sales people and promises to save you money it ended up costing me 20% more to process with them. If they tell you they will waive the contract if you are unsatisfied don't believe them. YOU WILL HAVE A 3 YEAR MINIMUM CONTRACT with the merchant processor who is different than the people giving you the terminal. They wanted to add extra fees the first month I was with them and when I called to talk to the merchant processor who is different from the equipment provider the manager was rude, talking over me and very aggressive with her tone. When I explained to her that I had been with them one month and this is certainly not a better deal she said there was nothing I could do. If I wanted to cancel the contract with them it would cost me $1,200. I asked if there was a manager I could speak to she told me she was the end of the line and no one above her. I also mentioned that I was going to be contacting my lawyer and and she said go ahead and pay $250 and hour for them to tell you what I am telling you. I have never been so treated so poorly by a customer service agent. THIS COMPANY IS NOT ANY COMPANY YOU WANT TO WORK WITH!!! My lawyer has been contacted. If I could leave a -10 star review I would, I've only left a 1 star because I am required to put something there for my review to be filed!

Through unscrupulous merchant brokers that offer you the moon, they take advantage of small businesses by locking on 4 year lease . I'm charged $68 a month for 4 years for a machine that costs, maybe $300.
At the very least , First Data is engaging in unethical behavior with this exorbitant fees .

Please do not enter into an agreement with this company. They will lie to you and promise everything from 0% charge in debit card use to website integration. The moment we signed we could no longer access help for any reason. A simple phone call for assistance takes all day and problems are never resolved.
