Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I have stated this repeatedly to the [redacted] to tell Facebook. I HAVE had my birthday privacy setting on ONLY ME since day one of becoming a FB user. For years this worked fine. The past two years FB simply ignored my privacy setting and announced online that my birthday was coming up, whereupon I received massive e mails wishing me a happy birthday, many from people I barely know. The [redacted] has been great in trying to get a decent FB response. But since FB is repeatedly acting like I'm too stupid to know how to set my privacy controls instead of assuring me my birthday will not be announced online, I see no further point in continuing this. They are arrogant and simply don't care. Why do they care about a birthday? I will no longer be using FB. Thanks for trying [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: you have never reached out to me regarding this issue and I have contacted the help center several times uploading my ID. You are not responding to me submitting that ID so you are providing no resolution. I can send you it on here or upload it again if that will help matters, please tell me what I can do. I never received an email from your support team at all, so there cannot possibly be an open ticket.
Sincerely,

FB is a very honorable advertising agency. I read the rules incorrectly and assumed that they are obligated to give a very low price. Not so! It requires some effort and work to achieve an advertisement that provides a very low price. Also the entire offering must trigger a low price event. So yes, I am completely satisfied and they no longer need to refund my money. thanks for your efforts!

This is the business page [redacted]
and the following reviews are false! A refund was given to this bride once we had the opportunity to talk to her. Someone called one hour after the groom died demanding a refund and we clearly said that we could only speak to the bride and would settle everything with her. These people went on a Facebook Linchmob and started writing reviews without even knowing the full story or at least our side of the story! Please delete the following reviews!

I must say that I just read a post on facebook from a family member of mine. I can not believe the lack of compassion [redacted] salon has for the bride to be who lost her fiance so suddenly and just 2 weeks before thier wedding. The pain this family is going through.... and the dollar is all your salon can think about. I will not be spending my dollars there and will recommend no one I know will either. Not a good way to run a business!
Shannon Dow reviewed [redacted] Studio/[redacted]'s Studio & Salon.

I recommend that NO ONE GOES HERE!
They apparently have no respect or compassion. One of my friend's friends fiancee died tragically and unexpectedly this week. When the bride called the salon to cancel the appointment she was told that she had entered into a legal contract and would be charged the full price.

Not refunding a poor bride's retainer once informed that the groom-to-be has tragically passed [redacted] just two weeks before the wedding? Failure of good business practice, and of conscience. How do you sleep at night? This will buy this salon A LOT of negative press, and word of mouth is a VERY powerful thing...

Since I am currently looking for a Salon I have been reading some recommendations and I stumbled across this site. I don't know the bride or groom of this wedding (or tragedy) but I feel horrible for them! I understand why businesses have deposits or retainers but I think that is more for people cancelling for other reasons than unexpected DEATH! The poor bride needs to bury her poor fiance and this salon won't refund that money to her? Shame on them. Karma is a *itch and hopefully it hits your pockets where it will ACTUALLY hurt you since you have no heart. I don't understand how people can be so cruel when someone is suffering so badly. Shame on you.

How can anyone possibly write a positive recommendation for a salon who refuses to refund monies to a family who suffered such a sudden and tragic loss. Greedy, money hungry, cold hearted, unethical sad individual. Welcome to your newfound and quickly spreading bad reputation. You know what they say about word of mouth...

Refusing to give at least a portion of someones down payment after a family tragedy is just poor business. Won't be using or suggesting [redacted]'s!!

For a salon that works so closely with brides, you certainly must understand how special a wedding day can be- and to know that this opportunity was stolen from a couple because of a tragedy- your lack of compassion [redacted] me.

[redacted] you say you run a business. Well after this you will have no business. Our friend passed [redacted] 2 weeks before their wedding and you will not refund the bride to be's deposit. It has not cost you anything yet and for you to make money off of this tragedy is unimagineable!! I hope everyone boycotts you from this day forward.

Please be compassionate [redacted] the sudden death of the groom- my son and refund the deposit to the bride to be and show that indeed you do realize this was beyond anyone's control. Thank you

I totally understand a business needs to have a cancellation policy..and a legally binding contract. However my niece tragically lost her fiance two weeks before their wedding. I think there should be some compassion [redacted] I quite frankly don't see why you would not refund the bride.

NO!! they are stating something that is false against our business!! I'm so disgusted that Facebook would allow false information that affects a business. I'm disgusted and outraged!! The money was returned to this client!!! PLEASE DELETE THEM!!! I have spent to much money advertising with Facebook and I'm appalled that you would treat a business this way. Anyone can go on those reviews and falsify information and destroy a business.

I have actually tried all of that. I had hit the resend code (many times over the week I've been locked out), but never receive a code to my phone. I tried following the link that said "this didn't work for me" and got no where. I submitted a report and got no response other than "thank you for your feedback". I sent multiple messages and comments on the Facebook page itself from an old account and never received any response. I have tried logging on from multiple devices (that I've used regularly) and still never received the code it requires.

I pay for a membership to play a game requires clans and group pages and war pages. If they are going to impose this unfair practice then there are certain groups that need to be made exempt for this sort of banning. WE cannot participate in our games that we pay to play when they do this. I need to be reimbursed for memberships fees that have been paid and I cannot play the game properly because of this ban. I am rejecting this response because:The particular facebook webpage I mentioned repeatedly to facebook automated system was a scam page is known as wild wallet. They delete and block anyone from posting any place on their page if the person has anything negative to say about them. But offering to fix this one page does not correct the underlying initial cause of my complaint. There is never anyone double checking when a profile or page is reported. There is absolutely no way to contact any human for any sort of help or file a complaint.

Hello,
I have logged into my account with the name forced upon me to use, simply to enable me time to download the photographs I have of my children and then I am deactivating the account. You are not allowing me, a domestic violence victim transitioning into a domestic violence survivor, to maintain my account with a name that is benign and keeps me safe. Therefore, I will not have this account after today's mass photograph download.
It is completely unreasonable that you have used your power to further abuse me, and have prevented me access to the only friends I had.

Hi [redacted],
We want to help you resolve this issue, but we can't until you reply and attach identification that confirms the name that you are requesting.
If you don't have a government-issued ID, you can submit 2 forms of ID that show the same name. Also, one of the IDs must include a photo or date of birth that matches the information on your profile.
If you don't have an ID that shows your name as well as your photo or date of birth, you can provide 2 forms of ID that show the same name, and one ID that includes a photo or date of birth that matches the information on your profile.
Please save the file(s) as a JPEG and cover up any personal information that we don't need to confirm your identity (ex: address, driver's license number).

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Hello,
With all due respect, we are going in circles here. This issue seems to have evolved because one of my abuser's sympathizers sent me a friend request that I denied, and then flagged my account as fraudulent. In your own words from an email sent to me directly, you state that you only lock accounts and require proof of name when a complaint is filed and/or an account is flagged. I did nothing wrong. I had an alias/pseudonym to protect myself and my minor children from being found by my former abuser and his family/friends, which are an extensive group of people and there is no way to identify and thus block them all. Additionally, being forced to use the name on my driver's license, which is unfortunately still HIS last name, is a direct slap in my face every time I have to see it, say it, sign it. I don't use that name in real life in my work, and my children do not use it at their schools. We are the victims of a predator, one that is serving 21 years for a Felony A conviction/sodomy on a minor under 12. I did not and do not use photos of myself on my account, and did not post photos of my children, for this very reason... to keep us safe from potential further harm/being found/being harrassed. He maintains his innocence, but the physical evidence of his sperm mixed with my daughter's saliva tells the truth, and my daughter for years now has told the truth. Her interview and testimony were qualified as authentic, and she did not make up this abuse upon her. You tell me, how many 7 year olds do you know that would make up such a story? Our abuser did not have to account for or pay for the decade of abuse he inflicted upon me prior to doing this to my little girl. There is not a resolution to this matter other than you unlocking my account and allowing me to resume using the alias that I had in place, [redacted] Friedman. Other than that, you are in the same graces as the predator that is serving time. You/Facebook has used your power to take away the only access to other adults that I had/the people who supported and encouraged me through all the darkest of days, and helped me advocate for justice on behalf of my child. Based on what????? Because some woman got her panties in a wad that I refused her friend request, and she decided it would be kosher to report me as a fraudulent account. Why did she want to friend me? There was NO reason for it, I have no need to have ties with anyone that knew him, went to school with him, or believes his tale that he did not harm our daughter when in fact he absolutely did.
Thank you
[redacted]
Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Sincerely, [redacted]

Hi [redacted],
Per our Help Center, a business card does not fulfill one of our ID requirements. Additionally, the employment verification form you supplied does not contain your date of birth. As such, we are unable to reactivate your account....
The only way we can confirm your name is if you reply to this email and attach a photo ID that verifies the name you're requesting and/or your date of birth.
If you don't have an ID that shows your name as well as your photo or date of birth, you can provide 2 forms of ID that show the same name, and a government-issued ID that includes a date of birth or photo that matches the information on your profile.
See the different kinds of IDs we accept in the Help Center:
https://www.facebook.com/help/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX?ref=cr
Once you send us the necessary IDs in a reply to the email sent directly from Facebook, we'll be happy to verify your name.
Thanks,
