Company preys on older people. They convinced my mother she needs. a warranty policy for a new car. They then get her credit card number and make it nearly impossible to cancel the policy. They then direct bill. We previously had the same issue with the parent company AutoAssure. We eventually got it canceled but they then called again with this child company to AutoAssure. They are unprofessional on the phone and hand us from one agent to the next. Perhaps they offer valuable services to those to really need it but they also take advantage of people with their sales tactics and bureaucracy in canceling a policy.
I have tried to cancel my policy numerous times during the past several days. I have been placed on hold for an extended amount of time. I have left a message and been disconnected several times with no follow up return phone call. When I did speak with someone they have tried to convince me not to cancel my policy Endurance stated I had 30 days to cancel and I am well within that window.
The consumer's contract has been cancelled per request and a full refund has been processed to the original form of payment. Please be advised, it may take up to 10 business days to post to the consumer's card, depending on her financial institution.
Endurance is sorry for the consumer's experience and is conducting an internal investigation as to why the consumer was not able to reach an account manager to cancel her contract. Endurance will always strive for the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Peter was great to work with, very knowledgeable and to the point on every question I had. Great explainer
Mark was extremely helpful. I'm glad I chose Endurance over CarShield as.
I spoke with Mary about my newly purchased warranty and not being able to access the web portal. She quickly determined the cause and fixed the problem. I am very pleased with the customer service I have received and hope this is the norm for Endurance.
I think yall are great. I've added 2 vehicles too my policy. I have confidence in yall.
Yall have always done me right
I have been gettings texts from them about my car's warranty weekly, despite my blocking of their many numbers and the fact that my warranty is fine. Seems like very sketchy business practices.
SCAM!SCAM!SCAM! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY WILL NOT APPROVE YOUR CLAIMS AND TRY TO OFFER FINANCING AFTER YOU'VE BEEN PAYING YOUR POLICY!!!!! So last year May I purchased a policy from this company and was told anything that makes my car not work properly as far as my engine, transmission, turbo and etc. would be covered. Fast forward to the 11th month of my policy my turbo is giving me problem. I called Endurance twice before filling a claim and spoke to two different representative which both stated that my turbo is covered under my plan. Since I found out it is covered I proceed to filling a claim. I took my car to VW b/c I have a 2009 VW passat. Endurance denied my claim. The part of that is giving problems is bolted to the turbo and the turbo is covered. A contract is a legally binding agreement where both parties are expected to fulfill the terms of the contract. Your contract is unconscionable because it states Turbocharger/Supercharger Housing and All Internally Lubricated parts. Housing is only covered if damaged by Breakdown of a Covered Part. According to your representatives Housing is the part that holds the Turbo. Breakdown, according to my contract means the inability of any Covered Part or components to perform the functions for which it was designed due to defects in material or workmanship. So therefore, my Turbo should be covered because it states so within my contract.
Professional customer service online. Kind, courteous, and professional. Knowledge of the product.
The first time I called Endurance- they told me I would not be covered due to the state I was in which was false information.
I called back and another rep was able to get me covered. The second rep I talked to was very helpful in starting my coverage BUT told me that with my coverage I would be getting 250 dollars to be able to spend at several different business such as amazon, eating locations and even to get gas if I wanted to use it this way. He then stated after the first 3 months I would be getting an additional 250 dollars, so total I would be getting 500 dollars to spend.
He failed to mention how the program actually worked. You do not just get 500 dollars to spend. It is actually just coupons to use on a discount shopping website. You are only able to get 5-10 dollars off if you pay 100 dollars. This was very misleading information just to get us to choose Endurance over other insurance companies.
I hope my coverage is truly what was stated- since the reps at this company seem to provide inaccurate or misleading information to customers over the phone.
They should explain the policy so we as a customer can understand it. I’m paying for a policy I can’t use because I gave the wrong mileage. I think they should ask for accurate mileage and we should go through the same process to get the policy like we have to get out of the policy. I’m a 61 yr old single female that got taken cause I read my speedometer wrong.
Very good experience felt like they genuinely cared about my crisis
I received a letter in the mail stating, "We have been advised a price increase was planned for our Extended Vehicle Service Plans (EVSP) effective April 30, 2020. In light of recent events, we have arranged to hold current pricing until April 30, 2020. After that date, we may not be able to honor the service contract pricing designed specifically for your. Please call us at 1-866-787-4495 so we can hold your EVSP contract at the lowest program rates. When vehicles expire out of factory warranty due to time or mileage, the Vehicle Service Plan provides coverage beyond the original manufacturer's and puts your vehicle back under coverage at current Loyalty Pricing. By contacting us now, you can avoid the price increase and still cover your investment from the high cost of these unexpected repairs which is more critical during uncertain economic times..."
This is a SCAM and Endurance is clearly taking advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic to capitalize on fooling individuals into calling them and purchasing unnecessary insurance coverage.
We are sorry for the frustration that Endurance's mail piece caused the consumer, and as a result of the consumer's complaint, our company placed the consumer on our internal "Do Not Mail" database to ensure that they do not receive any future direct mail advertisements from our company. Please allow up to 10 business days to process this request. The consumer may still receive additional mail pieces sent during the processing time.
Chelsea was knowledgeable and went a step further to assist me in solving my issue. I had been bounced around and rather than continue that, she contacted them and was able to get the information for me in less than 1 minute.
Brian was very patient and kind with my request. He made the whole experience amazing.
I just received amazing customer service. So far I am very pleased with Endurance.
My wife and I purchased a used vehicle from a dealer in Wahoo, NE. We purchased an extended warranty (Level 3) through Endurance for $2950 on Feb 1, 2020 when we bought the vehicle. In April we began having some problems. No modifications have been done to this vehicle since we’ve owned it. We purchased it as is with the warranty. had the truck towed to a reputable diesel repair shop for repairs that are clearly stated as covered under our contract warranty. There have been two inspectors sent from Endurance who have since given two different reasons as to why they refuse to cover the repairs. Clearly, the staff they have answering calls and apparently doing inspections have no background in auto parts/repairs, as rear main seal have no impact on mechanical duties on a turbo and waste gate, as a turbo has no rear main seals (which was the first reason they denied the claim to repair the turbo/waste gate). The second inspector is now denying the claim stating they won’t cover because it apparently has an aftermarket exhaust (which was on the vehicle when we purchased it AND the warranty). This company has breeched their warranty. We will be contacting attorneys and Consumer Protection Office with Iowa Attorney General if not resolved.
Please be advised, the contract excludes the modifications on the consumer's vehicle. Endurance does not allow any selling dealer to apply an Endurance contract on a vehicle that is modified in such a manner. As the selling dealer, ***, wrongfully applied an Endurance contract to a vehicle that is ineligible, Endurance has initiated a full refund of the contract purchase price and has notified the selling dealer of such. Once Endurance receives the cancellation form from the ***, Endurance will send back its portion of the contract cost to the selling dealer. *** with then provide a full refund to the consumer.
As a dealer that was selling their product I can say don’t waste your money. Sold a warranty to a great customer and months later the engine dropped a valve. After over a month they said they were not covering the claim because the valve seat caused the valve to drop. So first of all they did not in anyway have good customer service with this time frame which was ridiculous. Second a valve seat and vale is part of the engine and power train. The warranty the customer purchased wasn’t just the power train warranty either.People work hard for their money and many people during this virus is struggling and then a company doesn’t stand behind their product.
The woman I spoke to was so helpful! She gave me very valuable information. I was very pleased.
Vernetta was great to work with. Very friendly and efficient!
