“Site related” damage refers to any damage to the product post-installation. Many things can damage an installed carpet, however unless the damage is observed occurring, any suggestions on what or how the damage occurred is only speculation. This damage is not a manufacturing defect and as such is not covered by warranty.
We appreciate the customer contacting us regarding their concerns. Installation was completed and the customer issued an accommodation was issued to the customer’s credit card for the inconvenience. We thank the customer for their feedback.

I am rejecting this response because: we are not pleased with the final result, we are just settling with it. The stress and hassle was undesireble. We regret ever contracting empire. We will not recomend. empire. We will get area rugs to hide the remaining damage to our new floors untill we can afford to hire another contractor, we are frustrated as this was a loss of 6500 dollars. Empire did refund for the toilots however we got the short end and lost and are not coming out whole.

am rejecting this response because:Empire has not accepted responsibility for the water damage that occurred to my computer during the original bathroom floor installation. I have asked on numerous occasions for information relative to the emergency service call I placed regarding the water leaking into my basement from the toilet. Their employee, Shelby, visited my home, took pictures of the leaking toilet, retrieved the correct product and fixed the leak. I have contacted several plumbers regarding this type of incorrect installation of a wax ring and they indicated that the water can leak straight down without spreading around the base of the toilet and damaging the surrounding floor.The final installation of my bathroom floor, including installation of a new subfloor where the floor panels were incorrectly installed and water from the shower damaged the floor was replaced and new floor was installed. At that time, the floor surrounding the toilet did not need to be replaced.I am concerned that my installation may have not been completed correctly as my contact at Empire Corporate claims there is no way the floor could not have been damaged around the toilet.I am requesting the detailed information regarding the emergency call, replacement of the failed wax ring and the pictures associated with this replacement.I have submitted replacement costs of my computer from MicroCenter here in Kansas City and they have denied my claim. In addition, I am requesting an additional one year extend warranty on my flooring material and installation as the final completion did not occur until one year after the initial installation.I am not confident that my flooring has been correctly installed as Empire has not been forthcoming with any information relative to the original installation and emergency call placed regarding the failed wax toilet ring.
