We have been in contact with Empire and we are actively trying to come to some sort of resolution/middle ground, however, we are not sure at this time whether or not they are willing to meet us in the middleThey called and offered us $off original price of tile and additional square feet of tile installation in bathroomWe countered with $off original price with installation of hardwood floors in kitchen and sunroom as originally plannedWe are currently waiting for their response

This place is absolute garbage One of their employees came to my home and rather then do what he came there to do, he wanted to talk about the [redacted] for President sign in my yard I say he wanted to talk about it because he did not want to discuss politics, he wanted to bash [redacted] and praise the *** When the conversation didn't go the way he wanted he started raising his voice and talking over me so I threw his sorry as out of my house Does what he did warrant Empire a bad review? no They get a bad review because when I called to file a complaint about him, A sales manager was supposed to get back to me but they never did Every time I called them, for some reason the call was dropped I was able to find out that their employee told them that I run him off because he wasn't a [redacted] fan He failed to tell them that he started the conversation and that he raised his voice when it didn't go the way he liked it to

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:they claim I didnt clean new carpeting every year thats riduculous I goggled how long a carpet should last and the answer is YEARS a cleaning company told me emoire gave me defective carpet I want the room and stairs done they want to charge me 1,to replace thats unexceptable also I looked up all the complaints on empire there are thousands how can the Revdex.com stand behind a company that does this to trusting customers Sincerely, Michael [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:There was no communication from the company from July until July We needed to confirm with them that they actually had the materials in stock in the [redacted] warehouse to complete our job, and we needed to know when they planned to have installers at our house to do the work, so that we could arrange for someone to be at home at the scheduled timeWe both work full-time jobs outside the home, so advance notice is absolutely necessaryOn the morning of July 26, we received a voice mail on one of our cell phones stating that the installation crew would be at our house THE SAME DAY between 1-3pmNo advance notice, no regard for our schedule whatsoeverWe scrambled to get time off work to be home at the scheduled time, only to have the crew show up at 4:45pm - not within the 1-3pm time windowIf we had known this, we wouldn't have had to waste time off from workAt this point, the job has been completed and we don't see any issues with the work so farIt is simply unbelievable to us that a company can treat customers this way, with nothing more than a "we apologize for any inconvenience," and still end up with an A+ rating with the Revdex.com because the complaint has technically been satisfiedWe will NEVER again do business with Empire Today, and recommend that no one else does either Sincerely, [redacted]
