We love Elite and most of all we love our AC rep, Alan F. They have great prices, super service, and everyone we referred also loves them. We appreciate the affordable yearly service on our two AC units. These guys are the best in town!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have worked with craftsmen most of my life and I can tell who is good and who is a pretender. Both the craftsmen from this company were very well trained and preformed the work in a workman like manner. I will use them if anything gores wrong with our A/C.

Reason for Complaint:
I purchased a *** Heat Pump (Model #***) from Elite on 12/16/2013.

Over the next two years, there were so many mechanical issues with the unit that Elite finally agreed to replace it.

On 8/6/2015, still under warranty, Elite replaced the unit. I was never informed that they planned to switch the unit for one that was not the same quality or price. They installed Model #***
Please take a look at the attached proposal prepared for me by Elite when I was in the market to purchase a heat pump. There is a $2125.00 difference in price between the *** and the ***
Since I was not informed about the switch, I didn't realize that they had installed the model below the one I originally purchased.

Once I found out what happened, I contacted the Elite Service Manager, Alan ***, and was offered $300 for the switch. According to Mr. the offer came directly from the owner of the company (see email).

In Elite's contract, it states that "in the event of material shortages, we reserve the right to substitute equal quality equipment at our option." However, this is not the case in my situation. A mid-efficient and cheaper value model replaced the highly-efficient higher value model.

I have been a customer for over 7 years with this company. Their service people are very good and everyone is friendly. Recently I called for a plumbing repair and was quoted a $39 service call. The plumber arrived within the hour and looked at the problem and retrieved a part from his truck. Said. "I am done and that will be $139". I asked what happened to the $39 service charge and he responded that every job is a minimum of 1 hour labor at $100 per hour. I called the office to discuss this and requested a call back as this was a unfair charge for less than 10 minutes of work. I have waited 5 days for a call back and still nothing but silence. They keep sending me these request for a review so here it is. I have purchased in the past a new AC/Heater, Water heater and whole house filtering system, but this will be the last time I use this company. Elite has installed 3 heating and air conditioning units for us. Why? Their price for the Trane units were the best and their work is excellent. They have also installed 2 hot water tanks for us. Again, excellent and very neat work.

Their rating should be an A+. The whole crew are always so helpful and provide quick and exceptional service. Thank you so much and Yahushua (Jesus) loves you!
