was to re-direct gutters and sump dischargeThe trees have been inspected by a landscaper and determined to be viable treesThey do require maintenance per the homeowner's manual and care instructions are attached

Dear Ms***D.RHorton, Inc("DRH") is in receipt of Ms*** latest response, dated November9, 2015, regarding the above referenced complaintThis letter is the fourth and final response toboth Ms*** ** complaintDRH incorporates all of its previous responses into this finalresponse.In addition to the points set forth in DRH's previous statements, Ms*** acknowledgesin her latest response that she received a copy of the Home Buyer's Guide when she purchased hercurrent home, and that she was at least generally aware ofDRH's warranty proceduresWhat sheseems to ignore is the fact that she has already used DRH's warranty procedures three separatetimes prior to this latest issue to address minor issues in the home she currently ownsIt is clearthat she was aware of the warranty procedure because she used itFurthermore, the very purposeof any warranty is to allow the entity offering the warranty (DRH in this case) to have the firstopportunity to remedy any problemMs*** ignored that when she hired outside contractorsto address her issueDespite this, DRH still, as a courtesy to her, sent out its own representativesand representatives from *** *** *** and repaired the failed work of the othersubcontractors, at no cost to Ms***

II have never heard of a warranty on a roof of a brand new house for only one year, however, I will research this matter further to find out what the requirements are on a new home in regards to the roof warrantyI need the proper contact information of the office that's responding to my complaintD R Hortons office contact name and number if possible so I can straighten out this matter directly

The mail box was not installed correctly from day one and the lid should not be coming offWhen I moved into home I notice the rust and the faulty mailbox and notified DR Horton back in July and Aug This has been a year and this is not a customer issue but a builders issue

she has encountered while attempting to resolve her concerns. I assure you
that DRH strives to provide

is my understanding that *** *** successfully closed on this property on or
about December 30, 2016. *** *** has
contacted the division regarding the garage door to her home previously through
a customer service request. As a result
the division is in communication with *** *** in order to move towards resolution
to her request.I appreciate the Revdex.com providing me
with an opportunity to respond to *** ***’s complaint and its attention to

The Ac is back on, however we still are having issues with the noise. I have been in contact with the homeowner regularly and our last conversation I let her know that we have a *** (AC manufacture) rep coming out to inspect the unit

Ceilings are not flat! They have attempted the same things over a dozen times expecting different resultsI don't know if it is shoddy work during building, or poor contract work they hire out but my ceilings look terrible! Being that it's the family room it's the first throng people noticeThe poor work that has been done severely hurts the value of my homeThey created the problem, they need to fix it!

Please see our response to above referenced claim: The homeowner has brought to our attention an area of his driveway that holds water and also a slope in his driveway. The solution to alleviate the standing water in the driveway is to grade his yard in such a manner that the
water has a place to drain from his driveway towards the ditch located outside the front of the referenced property We proposed the grading solution to the homeowner, but he has rejected the offer and demanded that the culvert, which is actually located outside the property boundaries, be replaced and a portion of the driveway be replaced as well The driveway was poured as necessary to cross over the culvert and to the home, while also sloping for proper drainage to the ditchThe slope in this driveway is gradual in nature and well within acceptable standards. For these reasons, we have denied the culvert and driveway replacement portion of the claim However, we are more than willing to complete the proposed grading modifications to alleviate the standing water in the drivewayWe look forward to completing this work promptly if granted permission by the homeowner

I have confirmed with the warranty personnel that our Builder met with the homeowner and resolved the customer’s concerns Thanks, ***

We received the customer’s request to cancel their sales contract, and we sent the cancellation notice to *** ***Per the terms of the sales contract, the deposit is non-refundable
