All homes built by DR Horton in the Picket Fences neighborhood have been built to or have exceeded any local municipal codesThis would also include drainage of storm waterMore specifically, homes built by DR Horton have been in explicitly inspected by the Town of Port Royal for proper
drainage practices Please let us know if further information is needed Regards, *** ** *** Customer Service Manager D.RHorton - America's Builder

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute
I an appointment scheduled to have the QC from the tile installation company come look at the shower So far, their indication is that they will only re-caulk the shower, which has been done two times already over the course of year I have not been contacted to schedule an appointment with a landscaper to come look at the back yard and drainage issues

I am writing in response to complaint attachedI have reviewed all of the documents that were signed by Mrs*** and have went over this case with my teamWe do not cover any landscaping after closing if not listed as an issue on the
orientation walk through prior to closing, however, with the situation being that we are almost finished with this neighborhood, we are going to address this issue and replace the palm treeThank you for sending this over and as always, please let me know if you need anything else Thank you, *** *** Construction Manager DR Horton Myrtle Beach

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute.I received a call from Stansil Drywall yesterday(2/29)They seemed very confused with everythingI asked if they needed a copy of the inspection report, but they stated that they already were sent a copy by DR HortonIt seems as though they wanted to come out and caulk around missing stone veneer mortar and around deteriorated trim boardI asked them about that, they hesitated and then they stated that I was right and someone else would need to come out firstThey stated that DR Horton did not mention anything to them about the deteriorated trim board etc.,even though they had the inspection reportI asked them why I am the one picking these things up not being a contractor myself, and why it has not been picked up by someone beforehand... They then stated that they would only complete the caulk repairs, and they would not complete any repairs to the stone veneer, or the deteriorated trim board on the dormer that was not originally caulkedPer their conversation both repairs should be done prior to them going out. The missing mortar on the stone veneer needs to be patched and then caulked first, and the trim board needs to be replaced on the dormer firstI told them they really needed to get in touch with DR Horton and figure out a better way of scheduling around the other contractorsThey stated they were going to get back in contact with DR Horton to discuss

Response for Revdex.com Complaint ID# *** This home was used as a vignette showcase home for a year before being sold and no problems were ever noted with the wood floor and no problems were noted when the new homeowner moved inWe have made contact with this homeowner numerous times to
discuss the wood floor issueIt was first inspected by the flooring company, I’m not sure of the date, and then I asked to have an independent 3rd party inspection of the floor conducted which was performed April 20, The findings were higher than moisture and humidity levels in the home and in the floorThere was no defect found with the installation of the product or with the product itselfA copy of this inspection report was provided to the homeowner in late April Summary of the report was that the high humidity and moisture levels are site relatedTherefore we must deny warranty coverage for the wood flooring Sincerely, *** *** Customer Service Manager

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. There are still issues to be resolved, like a leak somewhere behind the fireplace next to the fresh air vent, but the Superintendent is working well with us to ensure that they are taken care of as well

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:* * *** has yet to finish doing the repair in my home, they have completed only retouching the sheet rock and painting over the wet spots from the leak however I have had the flooring company come to my home now twice as of today August 18th and based on what my mother has told me they have not replaced any of the flooringI have not received a call from no one from the warranty department giving me an update on to what is going to be done to my floorThe miscommunication is unacceptable and having to have people come to my home on something that should have been taking care of a lot sooner is unfortunate.

D.RHorton has sent a work order to the landscaper to schedule an appointmentWe are currently following up with them to ensure they schedule an appointment with the homeowner

We appreciate the customer reaching out to us regarding the concerns with the drainage in their yardWe understand from the local division's warranty personnel that prior attempts to address the matter have been made and the landscape contractor has left a voicemail today to schedule a visit to the
homeWe look forward to bringing the matter to resolution for the customer

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute
Again, we submitted several warranty request in regards to our front porch stairs and our driveway and no one got back to us until the latest request when we were told we were out of warrantyA builder cannot continue to ignore our warranty request until we are out of warrantyThis is FRAUD! Not to mention the reason our stairs and driveway is drifting from the house is from the incompetent contractors that DR Horton hired to do the job, they cut corners and did not meet code or standards of State and Federal laws for constructionI am very disgusted in the craftsman ship of the concrete work and the responses from youYou do NOT stride for quality work or satisfactions of your customers, if this was the case our issues would have been resolved within the first correspondenceWith tons of new home builders the competition is fierce and I will never purchase a DR Horton home againI will also make sure the public is aware of how you conduct businessYou are a fraudulent company that cuts corners to keep cost low. As I previous stated, I am very dis satisfied and I will be taking this to courtA court of law will uncover and unleash your horrible business standardsSo will this Revdex.com complaint, since it's public knowledge.

Given the work has already been completed on the landscaping the resolution will likely be in the form of a reimbursement checkAn amount that is fair and will satisfy the Homeowner’s is what we would like to meet with *** about on June 7th We will also be discussing her concerns
regarding the flooring. We have some work orders that have been signed by the homeowner stating that a portion of these repairs were completed (kitchen area)The area in the Master Bathroom we do not have a signature from the homeownerWe do have multiple witnesses that were present at the time this issue was discussed with the Homeowners and they all agree that we did offer to fix the floor in the master bathroom areaWhen the repair process was explained to the *** the response was to not proceed with the repair as they had plans to remodel the bathroom, with tile flooring, in the future anyway and they would just handle it then. If this is still an issue we will review it with *** and make any necessary repairs promptly. If *** does not want us to perform the repairs we can discuss alternative ways of resolving the concern in a way that would be satisfying to *** In summary we do feel some responsibility for these repairs and are willing to be fair and professional in meeting our warranty obligations. We will meet with *** *** on June 7th and agree to a resolution that will satisfy both parties *** *** D.R.HORTON

Per the customer's request, the appointment has been rescheduled from March to April We look forward to addressing the remaining repair item at that time

Our Corporate office received a letter from *** *** on November 28, 2016. Our Warranty Manager called the customer on the same day and scheduled a visit for November 29, 2016. Mrs*** was home for the visit. From our review, it looks like the customers have some tile
coming loose throughout their home. We are in the process of scheduling inspections to determine the cause and proper remedy of the situation
