Review: My name is [redacted] I have a bill from Fort Hamilton hospital for that amount in 467.00$. I've tried recently in the past to make arrangements with recovery debt solutions. They did not want any payments they wanted me to pay the full amount and I continually explain to him I am A father with a stay at home wife with a 17mon year old son. I asked him why my credit every month was scoring low because of this bill without my knowledge and the man told me that it never happened which it has. Two months later I finally received another letter from them. This time they told me I can pay $50 a month. I previous paid $50 a month and never got a confirmation from them over email so I called them back up and ask them how much my balance was and they told me the same amount from what I owed in the beginning. I would highly appreciate seeing if you could get this off my credit score its hurting my credit and I'm trying to build it up it took me a lot of hard work to take myself out from the hole I was in I don't want to bury myself from something I'm trying to handle but the business not working with me.Desired Settlement: That debt recovery solutions will be off my credit score.

Thank you Revdex.com for helping me with this issue.
Review: Debt ([redacted] $259) showed up on credit report via debt recovery solutions. I sent documents verifying I hadn't lived at the location for 3 years prior to the debt. They wouldn't take it off until 75% was paid. Once the $205 was paid the company never sent documents (fax or email) that the debt was satisfied. The company has given me the run around since that date (9/**/14)Desired Settlement: I would like that debt information completely taken off my credit report and not just indicating that the debt was paid due to the debt wasn't mine in the first place.

Review: I received a notice in the mail from Debt Recovery Solutions, LLC dated August **, 2013. I received this notice roughly around September *, 2013. The notice stated that my wife, [redacted] in the letter), owed a sum of money that was bought from US Cellular. My wife informed me that she had not been with US Cellular in over 5 years so I called to dispute the issue on her behalf. My first call was on 9/*/13 and I was abruptly hung up on numerous times before even being able to speak. Eventually, I got [redacted] on the phone who confirmed with me that I was disputing the charge for Account # [redacted] on 9/*/13 and that a detailed list of what was owed would be mailed to be within 30-45 days. The bill never came. I called back 2 or 3 weeks later to find out the status of the bill and once again I had [redacted] on the phone. She informed me that the bill had been sent and that I needed to wait a little longer as sometimes it can take closer to the 45 days. On 10/**/13 the 45 days had been passed and I called once again and was helped by [redacted]. He confirmed the date that I put in the dispute as 9/*/13 and informed me that he would work on getting the issue resolved. Since they had failed to meet their obligation to send me proof that a bill was owed, I asked for a letter, in writing, from them that would show that the bill had been disputed on 9/*/13 and that the bill was later than expected. [redacted] was immediately defensive at this request and wished to know why I would have the audacity to want it for my records. He eventually informed me that he would speak with his supervisor to see what could be done. I called back today on 11/*/13 to determine the status of the bill (which still has not arrived) and of the confirmation in writing that the bill was disputed. He once again absolutely refused to give me anything for my records that shows that I made contact with them and disputed this bill with their office. At this point, I am doubting the legitimacy of this bill and Debt Recovery Solution, LLC has been far less than helpful in getting this matter resolved.Desired Settlement: Since Debt Recovery Solutions, LLC has failed to meet their obligation of producing proof of this bill's legitimacy, in a time frame that they themselves imposed and even refuses me any documentation from them for my records that the bill has been disputed, my desired resolution is that the bill that is supposedly owed by my wife be erased entirely and a zero balance statement mailed to my address (which they have on file).

[redacted] - This office acknowledges receipt of the complaint filed with your office. In December, 2012, our company purchased a delinquent account from US Cellular in the name of [redacted]. According to their records, there is an outstanding balance due for services rendered in the amount of $178.43. We received a telephone call from [redacted]'s husband requesting verification of the debt. At that time, we placed the matter in a "dispute" status and requested complete documentation from US Cellular. In the interim, all collection efforts have been suspended. I wish to confirm that the matter is in dispute and we are awaiting supporting documentation from US Cellular.
Thank you for your assistance.

Review: Called this company 3 times. The first time on February [redacted] regarding a debt that doesn't belong to me. Was told paperwork would be sent to me by Steven T[redacted] for information on how to clear this false debt. On March [redacted] (today) I still don't have it . I called again, and spoke to a "[redacted]" who was incredibly rude and didn't allow me to ask questions, didn't care about my previous engagement with the previous client. Put me on hold without even giving me a chance to speak. Called again and asked for management and deliberately escalated this to a heated conversation in order to hang up. And still, I have no information about how to clear the debt that doesn't belong ti me. I'm furious.. Everyone is a jerk and I'm left with nothing. Completely unprofessional and unwilling to help. The most arrogant. If I can't get this resolved I will definitely have a word with my attorney and sue for failing to provide necessary information to protect myself and resolve an issue that doesn't belong to me.Desired Settlement: I demand a call back from a non-abrasive jerk. Give me the required information that I need to resolve a debt problem that doesn't belong to me as I was originally promised.

It has been 30 days and I have still not heard any corrispondance in regaurds to this account. I have gone out of my way to try and find out what this account is and why it is being reported. Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
This company has failed to validate this amount owed or corrispond to any of my written letters. They have stated that they have sent letters however they have not provided any proof of such letters being sent out or delievered. I have provided proof of delievery showing that I have attempted to corrispond with them. This has been very damaging to my credit and I havent had any indication until this point as to why. I dont ever remember entering an agreement with US Cellular in 2011 as I have been with my current provider since 2010.
Given the lack of corrispondance and lack of willingness to cooperate I feel as though the only appropriate resolution would be to have this information deleted from my credit report and further reporting. The damage recieved from this company to my reputation as provided by my credit reporting has been very significant and the only response has been that they are stating there was letters sent without any sort of proof of delivery.
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Review: This company has reported that I owe them $13,621 for something I have no idea about. I have never done business with this company and have never received any collections notices stating that I owe them money. This is fraudulent information that has been placed on my credit report. It states on my report that I opened that account in November 2015 so how is it already in collections 2 months later. I have not opened account with any company for that amount, and it doesn't even state what the debt is for.Desired Settlement: I want this fraudulent information removed off my credit report immediately.

Review: In April 2011, I had a service with [redacted], was not happy with services after two weeks, call the company and was told I owe nothing being that I was within the trial period. I received a bill a month later for close to $300, call the company back and was told they had not received the equipment yet. I traced the package and was delivered to [redacted]. I call them to give the tracking number just to get them to take off charges of the account. I received another bill a month later for $180 which I did call to speak to a manager at [redacted] I was told [redacted] bills a month ahead and that was a bill for the current month and the next month, insisted on them sending me the right bill. Wrote several letters to the company to give me an accurate bill being that I was with them for less than a month. Filed a dispute with the credit bureaus but didn't hear anything from [redacted]. It's being on dispute on my credit since. Fast forward to last week, I was checking my credit on [redacted] and saw a collection being report on my account from debt solution since May. I have not received any communication from them. How can you collect on an account that is in dispute?? How do u send someone to collection without getting in touch with them?? This is an old dispute from 2011 not May 2014.Desired Settlement: I Will like the company to stop reporting on my credit report and give provide me an explanation of charges

Review: I saw Debt Recovery Solutions on my credit report, I had never heard of this company and I was never contacted by them. Upon me calling them I was told that I owe $370.00 for a hospital bill, I contacted this hospital and I do owe money but only $200.00, they said there is nothing for $370.00 and the bill never went to a debt collector. After researching Debt Recovery Solutions I have come across many complaints that sound similar to mine where this company is going after people for services that they either have currently or had in the past and they are trying to scam people out of more money than they owe and along the way they are ruining peoples credit scores. I strongly think that Debt Recovery Solutions acquired information about a hospital bill that I owe and they are trying to illegally get money from me.Desired Settlement: I want Debt Recovery Solutions to drop the charges they claim that I owe and I want this negative mark to be taken off of my credit report.

Review: I received 2 letters for 2 separate dates for a hospital bill from 2013. I called this morning to attempt to figure out why I am receiving these, as I have health insurance and I am aware both have been paid. During my call your customer service agent was very rude and extremely unhelpful, I ended up hanging up on him. I was trying to find out more information about these two vague letters that were sent to me, and DO NOT deserve to be treated the way he thought he could treat me. After which I called my Insurance company and found out everything from the two treatment dates in question- has been PAID IN FULL- 2 YEARS AGO. My next step is getting my hands on my credit report to see if this is on there.Desired Settlement: I would like for this "attempt to collect a debt" which is false to be settled. I also want anything involving either of these "accounts" to be removed from my credit report

Review: I received a letter from debt recovery solutions as of 2/*/2015 in a attempt to collect a debt from 6/**/2004 from [redacted] hospitalist group in the amount of $635. I have not received any prior notification of this bill from either parties within the past 10 plus years. As to my knowledge this debt does not exist. I promptly called customer service not only 1 time but 3 in a attempt to receive more information . The first customer service representative used a very negative and disrespectful tone and told me she can only give me limited information. When I told this representative I would like to dispute the charges she asked me why because these were charges I owed. This person then proceeded to say she was hanging up,in which she did. I immediately called back. This next customer representative answered the phone dsr. When I asked what business this was he said dsr. I said I'm sorry what is dsr? In a very demeaning tone he said debt solution recovery. I politely asked him his name in which he responded, but it was difficult to understand. So I asked for his name again. Thus representative, again in a demeaning way to get a pen and paper and he would spell his name since he has already said it 2 times. I said please hold on I will get a pen. The representative said in a nasty tone, that since I did not have a pen to call him back when I got one. I said no, I have one now and he immediately ended the call.
This company I believe has made or collected false debts in which I do not owe, and the customer service is awful. This issue needs to be fixed immediately!Desired Settlement: Charges of $635 to be excused as debt is not owed, account closed, and letter stating this.

Sincerely,
Review: In the beginning of 2014 I received a phone call from Debt Recovery Solutions (who bought an incorrect debt from [redacted]) about a debt that I had incurred from [redacted]. This debt was already paid and was a large mistake by [redacted], which I had been in talks with for years about an outstanding debt with them. I didn't owe anyone any money at all, and the practices of both companies were criminal in nature. That being said I stated to Debt Recovery solution that this was the wrong debt and that this couldn't be correct. After months and months of going back and forth with debt recovery solutions with no resolution in site, I went ahead and paid the debt again since it was destroying my credit score and my wife and I were in the market for purchasing a new house for our young children. The debt has been paid since November of 2014 to Debt Recovery Solutions and the debt has been paid to [redacted] for years at this point. After talks with [redacted] I was finally able to get them to remove the inaccurate collection account from my credit report. I didn't ask for refunds or anything like that, although I probably should have. I called Debt Recovery Solutions and spoke with a representative from their company and started explaining everything to them and was hoping that they would see the errors in the account and remove the collection from credit report as well. The representative stated that they did not do that and that would not be happening. I asked to speak with a [redacted] and they informed me that there was no [redacted] to talk to but that one would call me back later that day. They waited for 8 hours but a [redacted] did call me back. I stated the exact same explanation to the [redacted] that the account was in error and shouldn't have been in collection at all, just like I had explained for months prior. I explained to them that [redacted] had removed the error from my credit and was hoping that Debt Recovery Solutions could do the same. The lady insisted that they did not do that even though the account was in error. She instructed me to dispute this on my credit report through the credit bureaus, which I have done with each credit bureau and Debt Recovery Solutions sends information back to the credit bureaus stating that this account was a valid collection, which it was not. I asked to speak with some above her and she stated that she was it, there is no one else to talk to, which I find hard to believe that there are only two levels of supervisors. She explained to me that they don't pick and choose collections they buy them in bulk and mine happen to be in there so they do not check the validity of the collection action. They proceeded with collection and marked my credit report.
That is why I am filling this report out to the Revdex.com because this account should have never been in collection in the first place, should have never hit my credit report, and there for should not still be hurting me, even though to resolve the issue I paid the debt. Which [redacted] and Debt Recovery Solutions said I shouldn't have if the debt wasn't valid. But I had no choice because neither would listen or take any action to help resolve the situation, they just keep hurting my credit score each month. So I really had no choice to but to paid the debts twice.
Thank youDesired Settlement: All I am looking for is for Debt Recovery Solution to remove this negative paid invalid remark from my credit report. I am not looking to recover the money. If the debt was valid and true, I wouldn't be attempting this action. No one at Debt Recovery Solution will do anything about this and I have contacted them to try and resolve this issue before entering this information.
Thank you in advance for your help and assistance in this matter.

Review: I am a victim of Identity theft.
On August **, 2013, I called and spoke with Debt Recovery Solutions, more specifically [redacted] and I explained the facts of my Identity theft case. [redacted] requested that I submit proof of the identity theft case, my residence, and ID for the collection to be removed from my credit report and my identifying information to be removed for the account that was placed with them for collection. [redacted] asked that the fax be addressed to [redacted].
On December **, 2013, I complied with [redacted]’s request and faxed the required documents.
On December **, 2013, I called and spoke with [redacted] and verified the receipt of the required documents.
On my December **, 2013 follow up, I spoke with [redacted] who advised me that the documents that [redacted] required are not adequate and that they require a copy of my W2.
I have made four attempts to reach [redacted] since December **, 2013 to no avail.
This is not a valid requirement for the proper handling of a collection caused by identity theft.
I’ve already provided ID, police report, notarized statement, and proof of residency per [redacted]’s request.
At this point, it has become clear that the collection agency is refusing to perform their duties as outlined by the FDCPA and State laws.
This is a form of harassment causing me undue duress and a negative collection mark which is affecting my credit report.
I am prepared to file the appropriate actions against the three collectors personally, as well as the agency, unless this matter is handled properly and removed from my credit report upon receipt of this letter.Desired Settlement: Removal of collection account from my credit report

Review: I have received a letter from this company offering a settlement of a debt. The original creditor is listed as Discover Card. I have never had a Discover Card account. Several weeks prior to the letter I received a collection call message, I assume from this company. I have returned the call but I cannot get a live person. They made no attempt to return my message. This is not my debt. At this point, even if they returned my call, I do not want to deal with them directly over the phone as I have concerns this is a fraudulent company/contact. The account number provided on the letter is [redacted].Desired Settlement: I have not yet checked my credit report. I want this company to cease contact with me, remove this account information and my name in their system and remove it from any credit reporting agencies to which they have reported this information.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.
Sincerely,
Review: I am filing a complaint against [redacted] because I have made several calls to them and the ([redacted]-their client) about a $458 bill and a $714. I am filing a complaint against Debt Recovery Services because I have made several calls to them and the ([redacted]-their client) about these bills. I started trying to resolve this matter over a year ago with no resolution. This debt has been with over 4 different collection agencies before Debt Recovery. This bill is from December 2011 from [redacted] and emergency physicians in [redacted], GA. At the time I was unemployed with no health insurance; I applied for their indigent and charity care and was approved. This took care of two visits; one for December and one for March. This includes all hospital fees, doctor fees, and lab fees. I didn't go to any other doctor or hospital. I was approved by a [redacted]. I have called the hospital several times to see if I owe a debt or if anything was sent to the collections and have been told repeatedly no.
I have given all this information to all of the collections agencies that have been assigned to this account including Debt Recovery Services. Instead, all they do is keep sending me an old bill to justify the debt. All they care about is money! They don't care that they are trying to collect a debt that does not exist. I have wasted over a year trying to resolve this. Also, I never received an initial letter about this debt from Debt Recovery They just brought the debt and slapped this on my credit report!Desired Settlement: I am requesting that this account balance and my personal information be removed from your system and removed from all three major credit agencies immediately!! This company also listed two different collection accounts with the same dates and different amount with the same account number (#[redacted]). Also, they listed comments on the collection account like it was a debt from a loan. Very misleading!
Recently, my employer pulled my credit report during a random check and questioned me about this account. I have 30 days to follow up with my employer about this matter. If I am punished or fired, I will be taking legal action against you and the collection agency. I will be seeking compensation for any lost wages. This includes present or future earnings and emotional pain and suffering

Review: Debt Recovery Solutions,LLC sent me a letter of a debt collection for a treatment date 10/**/12 Account no. [redacted] that is not at all eligible, as I have called the agency they are collecting debt for and they told me that such account doesn't exsits at all and there is nothing pending on my name as my bill at that time was put in charity or other amounts I have paid already and infact that was not my treatment date at all as I have proofs of all the charity bills I received and also the hospital has nothing with my name to their account.
Then how come this Debt Recovery Solutions are sending me this fake bill of 2012 in 2016 , seriously ... I have called the debt solutions and they were so rude, I asked them to give me the number of the agency they r collecting bill for and they couldnt even give me that and told me to find out by myself. And again tpday on 01/**/2016 I have received another letter from.them with the heading SALE and in that my bill has been dropped from 244.96 to 195.97 to be paid by 02/**/16 as for account settlement to close the account . What the hell is that? Debt company giving me option of SALE for my account .I have called them a number of times and with no proper answer from them I want them to remove this stupid debt thing from my credit right away otherwise I have to take a serious legal action against this debt recovery solutions company of faking bills and giving mental harrasment .Desired Settlement: Take out this debt immediately from.my credit report and no further contact by this business at all to me

Review: They filed with [redacted] a failure to pay for a [redacted] service from 2012. I spoke with [redacted] and they told me to contact them about the issue but showed my account in a credit status. When I called the Debt Recovery Solution agent I asked for additional information about the charges I was told they would mail me copies of the charges. When I asked them to help me fix my credit score they hung up on me.
[redacted] doesn't have a record of the debt and instead of helping me understand what I was being asked to pay for and to help me repair my damaged credit score I was hung up on.Desired Settlement: I'm looking for Debt Recovery Solution to remove the report against my credit and to provide me with the opportunity to understand what they're asking me to pay for.
