Review: This company has connected my fathers social and address to a prior medical bill for my daughter. I contacted both the hospital and the contracted provider who is the creditor. [redacted]. Neither had his address and social on the account. I feel they connected via prior household search. This would not be his debt. I've called and advised this and he has advised this.
My father spoke with [redacted] on 4/* who advised I gave the hospital his social which is material misrepresentation. He additionally was rude and combative. My father advised me so I called the company.
I called and spoke with [redacted] on 4/*/15 at 1:37 est for 14 minutes to dad use this. I then contacted all the [redacted] to research if they had made a mistake as [redacted] asided. They had not. While waiting for documentation so I could attach to a validity dispute letter my father received a letter 4/** from [redacted] advising he had accepted the debt. Which is untrue and misrepresentation of the phone call which again was with me not my father.
I called again and spoke [redacted] and again advised this was not my fathers debt and advised both the hospital and original creditor do not have his social on the account.
Additionally I spoke with the original creditor and they state a payment on the account from my ins co. As at the time I had 100% [redacted] coverage.
I feel this debt company has referenced my fathers name and social by cross referencing my address which is where he lived years ago. I feel his is unethical debt practice.Desired Settlement: First my fathers social and address needs to e removed and secondly they need to furnish a letter showing this is removed from his credit reports if applicable.
Secondly as they contact [redacted] I want the debt dissolved as I spoke with [redacted] at [redacted] billing company who shows an insurance settlement of $188.75 on 2/**/13.

Review: My husband, [redacted], & I paid our account balance off in April. I called in April to make sure that our balance on their computer system was zero. It was. I requested that they mail us a statement saying we were paid in full. It wasn't sent. Then on May [redacted] the company took out another payment for $95.70 from out account even though we didn't have a balance. I was unable to get through to the company by phone because of the holiday weekend. Their voice mail system also wasn't taking messages. I finally got a representative on the phone around 9 a.m. 5/**. I told them of the error. They admitted that it was their mistake & that they would refund the money. I told the representative that we had to have the money credited immediately in order to make our house payment at the end of the month. She reassured me that it would be handled today & she would call me as soon as it was done. By 3 pm I didn't receive a phone call so I called again. This time I received a very different response. I was told that it would be at least 3-5 days before it could be processed & then it would be up to my bank as to when it would be available. When I questioned the difference the representative became very angry & told me "what do you expect? this is a multimillion dollar business". I became angry also because of her disrespectful attitude & the fact that she didn't care that it was their mistake. She said "accidents happen" which I agree with but it should be handled immediately rather than pushed to the bottom of a pile to be done when they have time. I asked to talk to a [redacted], when I tried to explain my situation she began talking over me & wouldn't let me finish a sentence. She started shouting that I was rude to her employee & that I was harassing her company. When I tried to explain myself again she hung up on me. My husband then called & talked to a fourth person who said that they would handle it immediately. The representative even said that it was sent already to the bank on their end. I think this person was just telling my husband what he wanted so he would get off the phone. It wasn't send to my bank according to my bank as of today. We still haven't received our refund that shouldn't have even happened to begin with. We also again requested a statement saying our account was paid in full to be emailed. It was supposedly being done while my husband was on the phone last night & we haven't received that either.Desired Settlement: We just need the company to return the money that they took out of our account without permission. It needs to be done by 5/** so we can pay our house payment so they don't start foreclosure proceedings. As long as it is returned by then we can wire transfer money to our mortgage company. That will cost us an extra $10 that wouldn't have been necessary if this company would have done their job properly & not taken money that didn't belong to them.

[redacted] - This office acknowledges receipt of the complaint filed by [redacted]. I spoke with [redacted] last evening and advised him that we would immediately process a refund to his credit card in the amount of $95.70. I have confirmed that this refund request was submitted to his banking facility. I further advised him that the funds should be returned to his account within 72 hours. we have no control over that part of the banking process. Additionally, at his request, I emailed(and regular mailed)a letter to him confirming that the account in question is paid in full.
Please extend my apology for this error and the resulting inconvenience.
Review: The company is very rude, they over charging me every month I been calling to speak with a supersivor they say she have to call me back than hang up on me. They steady saying I have I balance I had my bank faxed them the statements showing I paid off my balance in more. All I want is the money I over paid this company.Desired Settlement: the service was incorrectly charged.

Sincerely,
Review: Company purchased account number [redacted] on May [redacted], 2015 from [redacted] for a debt of $315.00. I learned of this account through a negative reporting alert via [redacted] and [redacted] on June [redacted], 2015. Contacted creditor on July [redacted], 2015 and spoke to a woman who identified herself as [redacted] to request validation of the debt. Her response was that it would take 4-8 weeks for them to send me validation of their ability to collect on debt however; she did confirm that original account with original credit was opened on or around May [redacted], 2013.
Upon checking my bankruptcy petition and filings, I learned this account was discharged through chapter 7 Bankruptcy and should have never been sold to Debt Solutions for collection earlier this year. I notified debt solutions of this yet they have failed to take action. I have contacted my BK attorney with a request to file a sanction by the court for violating the discharge injunction for the violation of FCRA by Debt Recovery Solution based on their failure to take appropriate action.Desired Settlement: Removal of negative reporting of account from credit agencies and confirmation letter that account has been returned back to [redacted] for inability to collect based on bankruptcy discharge.

Sincerely,
Review: Debt Recovery Solutions LLC has contacted me numerous times via phone call, mail, regarding a medical bill over 3 years old that has already been paid for. The treatment was at [redacted], and as an uninsured patient under the poverty income threshold there was no bill to be due to me, but rather to the hospital. The account was referred to another collection agency which apparently has transferred it to Debt Recovery Solutions LLC who is now unlawfully contacting me and reporting a collection to the 3 major credit-reporting bureaus. I have requested a dispute several times with the bureaus and DRS LLC continuously is verifying inaccurate information and contacting me illegally. I was advised to file a report here with the Revdex.com before I continue filing suit for damages under the FCRA for furnishing and reporting inaccurate information.Desired Settlement: Please stop contacting me, remove all of my information from your system, and remove all negative collection reporting to [redacted], and [redacted].

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
[Your Answer Here]
The company's response asked If I could call so they could collect more information which does not make sense if this is indeed my account they should have all the infomation required. In order to place a debt on a credit report they would in the least need a social security number. This complaint is to validate a debt this is what I am requiring, again please note all correspondance will be screenshot and submited to my lawyer as well as the local press

I verified this with Verizon and stated to me, yes [redacted] you have never had an account with us. When I called to let them know this must be wrong; spelling of last name is incorrect and that I verified with Verizon that I have never had an account with them, the girl was rude and told me that that is untrue and I owe the $191.55 for a Verizon account. Sincerely,
Review: I received a bill in the mail from this company. I have been reading online from hundreds of people that the company is a fraud/scheme to collect money from people that do not owe anything. I reviewed the company claim that I owed $32.12. The company claimed that the original creditor was [redacted]. The letter goes on to say that debt recovery solutions, LLC, has been hired by [redacted] to collect this debt. Debt Recovery Solutions, claims that the services were performed 12/**/2006. However, I was 19 years old at the time and in college in the state of Minnesota. The college was [redacted], from the [redacted] location. I had owned no property or place of residency in Florida. I had no business in 2006 from Florida so I am very confused as I was simply a student from Minnesota. I have read my other online reports from other people who have dealt with this company. They claim that the company charges money from years ago to people for debts that never have existed. I am scared that this company is going to try to push me into paying a debt I clearly did not have. I have always paid my debts on time throughout my entire life.
My address while attending college in Minnesota was:
They provided this account number along with their letter: [redacted]Desired Settlement: For Debt Recovery Solutions to drop their claims against me. I want them to stop sending me anymore bills in the mail. I want them to take away anything they may have put on my credit report. I want confirmation from the company that the claims against me have been dropped.

This Company has several times sent me debt collection bills and notices for old bills that were discharged in a bankruptcy over 2 years ago. I have had my attorney call them and I have given them the attorneys info. But every couple of months they try the same criminal intent of trying again to collect the same resolved debt and every time I have to do the same thing, I guess they hope we will not pay attention and just pay the collection amount. This company needs to be shut down until it can operate in a legal professional manner and get reliable sources for legitimate debts, and stop harassing innocent people.
Review: RECENTLY I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM THIS COLLECTION AGENCY - I'M TRYING TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS TO SEE WERE WAS THE GAP BECAUSE MY HEALTH INSURANCE AND I NEVER RECEIVED A INVOICE THE FROM THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR (TREATMENT DATE WAS ON 10/2011) AND 4 YEARS I RECEIVED A COLLECTION LETTER.

ON 09/**/15 I ALSO CALLED MY INSURANCE AND THEY CONFIRM THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY INVOICE FROM THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR. 09/**/15 I CALLED DEBT RECOVERY SOLUTIONS, LLC TO EXPLAIN TO THEM WHAT HAD HAPPEN AND TO SEE WHAT COULD I DO BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANTED THIS TO SHOW ON MY CREDIT REPORT. SHE WAS RUDE AND HANG UP ON ME TWICE SHE DIDN'T ALLOWED ME TO GIVE HER AN EXPLANATION OF WHAT HAD HAPPEN IN THIS MATTER ON TOP OF THAT SHE WAS DISRESPECTFUL. ALL OF THIS TIME THEY HAD MY ADDRESS WRONG AND AFTER 4 YEARS THEY FIGURE OUT MY ADDRESS WHEN I HAVE BEING AT THE SAME RESIDENCE 5 YRS. 6 MONTHS. INSTEAD OF HELPING ME TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM SHE KEEPS HANGING UP !!!!!Desired Settlement: I would like this account not to show on my credit report as it will be affecting my credit in a negative way.

Review: Collection agency Debt Recovery Solutions popped up on my credit report from an old [redacted] account I had from 2011 where I owed $148. The negative hit on my credit wasn't significant since [redacted] was already showing the debt so I was perfectly content not paying and letting it drop off after the 7 year mark. That changed once I made the decision to purchase a house in the next year and didn't want this to show up. So I contacted the agency by phone on August [redacted], 2014 and told them I would pay them in full if they agreed to remove the item from my credit report. They of course agreed because they would rather have something than nothing. I paid them the $148 received my email confirmation the payment was successful the following day. I waited until September to allow the credit bureaus to update and they did. Debt Recovery Solutions was deleted from [redacted] and [redacted] but not [redacted]. I disputed this with [redacted] in September and the dispute came back stating Debt Recovery Solutions verified the debt and it will remain. I have contacted Debt Recovery Solutions multiple times to get this straightened out with a [redacted] but I'm always told one is not available and they would have one call me back.Desired Settlement: I would like the item deleted from my [redacted] report as was agreed in the exchange of paying the collection debt in full. It was deleted from [redacted] and [redacted] so I don't understand why Debt Recovery Solutions would not also remove it from [redacted]. I held up my end of the agreement by paying but they are not holding up their end of the agreement by removing the item from ALL three credit bureaus. They will probably state they cannot remove items but they most certainly can.

Review: I CONTACTED DEBT RECOVERY SOLUTIONS ON 1/**/2016 REGARDING A COLLECTION ACCOUNT. I HAVE A MEDICAL COLLECTION THAT I WAS UNAWARE OF AS I HAD NEVER RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF AMT OWED NEITHER BY THE HOSPITAL NOR DEBT RECOVERY SOLUTIONS. I DO NOT RECALL THIS HOSPITAL VISIT, SO I DO NOT DISPUTE THE ACCOUNT. I CAME ACROSS THIS ACCOUNT THIS YEAR WHEN I OBTAINED A COPY OF MY CREDIT REPORT. I CALLED DEBT RECOVERY SOLUTIONS TO ADVISE I AM WILLING TO PAY OFF THE ORIGINAL AMOUNT OF $105.00 IN EXCHANGE FOR IMMEDIATE DELETION AS AGAIN, I WAS UNAWARE I EVER OWED THIS. I SPOKE WITH NUMEROUS PEOPLE AT THIS COMPANY BY THE NAMES OF "PAUL, SCURY, MS. THORNE, MRS. YORK, AND MR. SCHWARTS. BOTH MANAGERS I SPOKE WITH ADVISED THEY CANNOT DELETE THIS ITEM FROM ALL 3 CREDIT BUREAUS AS I REQUESTED. I PERSONALLY KNOW OF A FEW ASSOCIATES OF MINE WHO HAVE SUCCESSFULLY BEEN ABLE TO HAVE PAID IN FULL ACCOUNTS DELETED BY THIS COMPANY, SO WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE WITH ME? I FEEL DISCRIMINATED AND WANT THIS RESOLVED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
