[redacted] has been contacted by the dealer he orginally was in a corolla which we took him out of to make him happy and he then picked a ravHe continues to want to be switch out of vehicles we did it as a courtsey last time and it has only been three months since we have done that and now he wants us to take him and put him in another vehicle which we have advise him we can only do if he is willing to put down a money Which he is not willing to do He wants more vehicle at the same payment first vehicle he saids we hyptonize and this time he just doesnt like the vehicle .We would like for this case to be closed no bad business down here a lot of good faith trying to make a customer happy .Tyrone T [redacted] There as well is appointment set for friday for [redacted] to come in and speak to me

Indeed the service department at this dealership does have a poor reputation, not only online but from multiple people I know and trust. While I do not know why or how the lights came on, it is upsetting to leave the car in one piece to then pick it up in anotherThat apparently is a concept that is difficult to comprehendThe manager insinuated that I was stupid several times, and that I did not keep up the maintenance of my vehicleThe fact that keys were thrown at me is completely unacceptableHe suggested that I take it over to Lexus not because they are apart of the same company, but because he was no longer his problemThey are in a business that deals with customers, and from my interaction with the manager yesterday evening, customer service is not a priorityIt was inappropriate and belittling to be spoken to in a manner that insinauted, because I was female, I could not grasp what was wrong with my carTheir position that they are not responsible for the vehicle may be one thing, but their position that they tried to assist me in completely false, and unacceptableBusinesses should not be allowed to treat people in this manner

I am rejecting this response because:I never claimed that they were an inspection
station for NJ/NY, THEY CLAIMED THAT WHEN I was purchasing the vehicleI have asked them to refund the inspection fee, since they did not live up to their promise that they made to me when purchasingSpecifically, I asked if the inspection fee included state inspection and the salesperson said yesIf it did not include the state inspection, then I should not have been charged an inspection fee, as just a regular dealership inspection would have had to be done before they could list the carThus, it was not a service they were providing to me, and they should not have charged me a fee for a service they promised but did not intend to deliverThey still have not responded to the actual complaint, which is that they promised this service and that if they are not willing (or able) to provide the service, they need to refund my money
They still have not responded to the other part of my complaint; specifically, that they have agreed to provide a refund for another service not provided (etching), and claim that they've sent the check out, but refused to provide me with the date the check was mailed or any tracking information

*** *** came in at 7:last nightShe was working a deal with sales on a new car and had taken one home on an extended test drive on Saturday 6/She left her Lexus here on the lot over the weekendWhen she came to retrieve the vehicle last night there was a check engine light on and
her tire pressure light was onWe ran a diagnostic check and our computer stataed that the engine light was do to a Catalitic converter code and tire light was do to unresponsive sensors in the tires not registering*** *** felt that we had somehow sabataged her car and caused these lights to come oni explained that the code was do to a failed part and there was nothing we could have done to cause itUnfortunately ** *** was quite upset, and unwilling to listen to my explination of how a catalitic converter worksThey do fail over time but only over a long timeIf this was the first time it had come on it was a very strange coincidence but again nothing that was within our powerHer car was parked on our lotNoone in our service department had looked at the car until she brought it to us last night*** *** demanded we reair her carI told her that was impossible as we did not have anything to do with it breaking downShe then threatened to call you organization citing the success her coworker had whit this and told me I would have to repair the carI tried to reason with her and asked what motivation we would possibly have to cause her vehicle to need a repair and her response was I do not know but your reputation is proof enoughI told her she could seek a second oppinion at the Lexus store accross the streetShe missunderstood and said why should she spend the moneyI informed her that this store was a sister store of ours and they would perform the diagnostic free of chargei do not know what more I could have done for *** ***It is unfortunate that she believes us capable of such a dishonest action due to advice of a coworker but be that as it may there is no possible way we could have caused this problem on her car, nor do we accept any responsibility for a mechanical failure of a vehicle that is simply being parked here over nightWe have not entered into any contract with *** *** in our service department, so she has no claim as far as any warrantyWe simply provided a free inspection and retrieved the codes from her computer at her behest

The customer was out of warranty as he explained himselfWe offered if he got towed to us we would do the work and save him 25% off the priceIt would have caused way less if he had done so.He chose to take it somewhere else and gave us a bill of almost percent more then it would have
cost done thru us .But we still gave him percent for work he had done as good willWe would like for this case to be closed at this time as it is clear we went way beyond anything morally or legally that we were obligated to do
