On Feb 08, 2017, I ordered two laptopsProducts were shipped out, but later were called back without delivery to meI have contacted Dell.com for several times for refundEach time, I had to wait for a long time before connecting to any departmentHowever, it's been almost two months, no refund was sent back to me for these two called back computers

However, when I asked for further detail or return of said "metal objects" in order to avoid this alleged damage in the future, Dell was unable or unwilling to provide eitherDell claimed that in order to repair the unit, I would be required to pay $247.95, which I paid Since there is no proof or evidence describing said "metal objects" or even that they existed, I am filing this complaint in dispute of the charges and respectfully but assertively request a refund

I have a Dell 2-in-Inspiron (model I7353) laptop that I bought in February, In January, 2017, I began experiencing display screen problemsWhen I called Dell technical support line they concluded that the problem was caused by a bios update that Dell pushed weeks earlierThe problem was resolved by technical support but it took quite some timeIn July/August of 2017, I began experiencing keyboard problemsAgain, I called Dell support and discovered the problem was caused by a driver update that Dell had pushed earlier I was on the phone with the technician for nearly minutes while he looked up records, talked me through a minute diagnostic, assured me Dell could resolve the problem and talked to a “higher authority” (at least minutes of the call)The phone was dead most of the time I waited for him to do somethingFinally, he informed me that I would have to wait for a call back from the “higher authority” but implied the issue would be resolvedThe laptop is no longer under warranty but, as the problem was caused by the Dell update, I assumed Dell would fix it gratisI then received the call back from the “higher authority”, her name is Harpreet (ID [redacted] ), who insisted that I pay $+ tax to extend the warranty for a year before they would make the repairI explained my position and, of course, refused to payIn summary, I have had two issues with this laptop in months, both caused by updates that Dell pushedThe first was resolved as the laptop was under warrantyThe second was notIf Dell updates cause problems my contention is that Dell should make the repairs gratisOtherwise, Dell’s demand for money is just another form of extortion

I purchased a computer on 1-19-for $779.84, on 2-12-Dell charge my Capital One card and I received a computer that I did not orderWhen I called they informed me that the computer I ordered was no longer available and they sent me a better oneI didn't not want the computer they sent so I returned the computer and Dell received it on 2-19-I had been told that they would refund me with in 10-business days upon receiving the computerI have yet to receive my refund and it has been 60+ daysI have called many with no resolve in the refund back to the capital one card

On 2/5/I ordered a laptop computer and some associated peripherals from Alienware, a division of Dell Computers, Inc I recieved the hardware in short order approx week later After receiving the items I decided it was not going to work for me so I contacted Dell to return the items On 2/17/Dell received the return of of the peripherals On 2/24/Dell received the return of the laptop itself at their receiving facility I have UPS proof of returns to Dell The total cost of all items was $5, The returns were well inside their return widow for full refund To date I have received refund of $2, That leaves $that dell owes me after months of calling them several times on this matter The last call was days ago and I was assured I would have the rest of my refund by 4/19/ I HAVE NOT received any refund
