Request Certegy to clear my records with them due to bankruptcy discharge

Declined purchase without explanation
On June 12, 2017, I attempted to write a check to Lowes for $That check was declined based on information that Certegy provided LowesThe balance on that account was over $8,000; I have never bounced a check on that account, and I have an excellent credit scoreI short there was no reason my check should be declinedI called Certegy to find out why the advise Lowes declined my checkThe only explanation I could get was from an automated system giving some generic, canned response that the transaction didn't meet "their criteria"The message was so generic that it was functionally worthlessThe reason for my complaint is not that the transaction was declined but that there was NO OPTION to speak to a live person at Certegy to get an explanation and get the matter cleared upI assume my information has been confused with someone else's since I have common name or something like thatI understand that mistakes happenWhat I find comp

This is a check cashing service that Walmart uses and they have denied cashing my checkWhen I call the number that Walmart gave me on my receipt I can't talk to anyoneI have seen a lot of complaints online about this serviceI would like to know why they denied cashing my check

I went to my local Walmart to cash my payroll check from a Global company & was denied due to Certegy with no explanation or customer service
I attempted to cash my payroll check from my employer that is Global business, at my local Walmart in Beloit, WiI was denied this service due to Certegy's response during the transactionThe employee referred me to call a phone number on the receipt which I didI was unable to speak to a customer service contact and was left with an automated and generic responseThere was no reason for this and no explanation providedIt only stated that the decision was finalThis has been extremely frustrating and as a customer, I am very unhappy with the service and lack thereofI would not recommend this service to anyone at this point and it not only reflects negatively on Certegy but also the business you represent who is YOUR customer, Walmart

I will be sending a full letterBut in a nutshell two checks written by two individuals were declined for no good reason - even AFER certified
On Saturday feb my 80-yeamother and myself attempted to purchase a vacuum cleaner at *** in Bellingham WAHer check was "declined" with no reason given; I tried to write a check on my own (completely different unrelated account at a different financial institutio) and this check was also "declined"Multiple attempts were made to recrify this matter including speaking DIRECTLY to Certegy who placed both my mother and myself on something called the VIP list and certified this particular problem check to be validMy mother returned to the store with the now certifiably viable check and it was DECLINED AGAINI am told that it is not a matter of credit record, that it might be a mater of "suspicious activity" in that regional store - which, frankly, is none of my businessThe store had no reason to suspect the validity of either ch

Unlawful declining of checks
I recently had my bank account used fraudulently and needed to have a new debit card issued So for the holiday weekend I had no access to my bank account on Sunday July 3rd and Monday July 4th We proceeded to go to the grocery store knowing that we had money in the account and could write a check Our check was declined by the store through this company citing "risk factors" After calling the company no one could tell me what exactly that risk factor was Now I am sitting at home without food in my pantry because Certegy has declined a check based on a computer algorithm and not hard facts
I find this practice to be completely unlawful all transaction acceptance should be based on KNOWING the funds available to an account in question not based on a computer's guess about myself
I now have absolutely no access to my account, with money sitting in it, beacuse Certegy thinks it can predict "risk factors" and not go off of the hard truth r

Check was declined without benefit of explanation by a human being
I was shopping at Dave's Marketplace here in Michigan and wrote a check for $ When they ran it thru Certegy (in Florida) it was declined No reason other than it had to do with the stores 'acceptance policy' This had nothing to do with funds and no one at the store knew how to 'fix' whatever the perceived 'acceptance policy' was The owner said it might have been because it was the first time we've written a check there Ok, how do we get PAST that? There is no human to speak to I called different numbers and they all loop back to the same menu I should not have had to stand there making phone calls, completely embarrassed! There is not even a place on their website to email them I have to actually mail a letter (which will go out in tomorrow's mail) I am not a happy consumer right now

Certegy is a predator on gamblers I had asked to have my limit decreased to $and should have not been able to take $ out days later Their 're-assessment' set my limit back to over $ There has to be controls in place for consumers who want to use their services responsibly
