Thank you for contacting us regarding Mr [redacted] ' complaint We appreciate the opportunity to respond to and resolve this matter.Mr [redacted] called our office on February 19, and purchased extended coverage for his Malibu At that time, Mr [redacted] provided us with his VIN number and mileage He let us know that he also has a, sounded like or 2016, Corvette and uses [redacted] Chevrolet in Marshall, Texas Mr [redacted] agreed to the down payment and monthly payments and provided our representative with his MasterCard number.As Mr [redacted] has requested to cancel his coverage, it has been cancelled as of September 7, His down payment was credited back to his MasterCard on September 7th MasterCard generally takes about business days to show that credit to a customer's account The remainder of Mr [redacted] refund due was mailed to his [redacted] on September 12, 2016.We believe this matter has been handled in a prompt and efficient manner and is resolved.Respectfully

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/06/16) */ Mr [redacted] purchased Diamond Pre-Owned coverage for his Cadillac on September 18, There are a great many components covered by this excellent Diamond Pre-Owned coverage through United Car Care, an A+ rated, Revdex.com Accredited Administrative Company The coverage was gone over during the sales call and Mr [redacted] also received his Coverage Contract Booklet in the mail that further detailed all the covered components Mr [redacted] was never told the speed sensors were covered, and they are not listed as covered in the contract he receivedMany other sensors are covered, but not the speed sensors There are so many components that are covered under this contract and he is under active coverage until September of 2018; we hate to see him cancel just because one item is not listed as covered However, he has indicated that he wishes to cancel his coverageIt will be canceled as of today and he will receive the prorated refund he is due, as stated in the initial sales call and addresses in the booklet he receivedWe will waive the cancellation fee as a gesture of goodwill Mr [redacted] will received a refund of $The down payment he made of $will be credited back to his Visa Card and the remainder of his refund, $2065.13, will be sent to the address listed in this complaint, by United Car CareMr [redacted] should receive that refund check in 10-days

The mailer Mr [redacted] has received and attached states, "This letter is to inform you that IF your factory warranty has expired, you will be responsible for paying for any repairsHowever, you still may have time left to activate a service contract on this vehicle..." The administrators we market for are all Revdex.com Accredited and A+ ratedEach administrator offers several levels of mechanical breakdown coverage based on that consumer's vehicle's specific make, model and mileage Consumer information is obtained from transactional activity such as insurance purchases, oil changes, tire purchases, subscription radio purchases, etc We have removed Mr [redacted] from our mailing list and he should receive no additional mailers from our company unless a mail piece has recently been sent We hope this addresses and resolves this concernPlease let us know if you need any additional information

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I would like a full refund because I did not violate any of the conditions of the contract, Car Shield denied my claim based off information provided to them by a car repair shopYes I will forward Car Shield a copy of my state inspection which proves that The car had no mechanical problems when the warranty was purchasedThe repair shop that informed Car Shield of the information also pulled up the state inspection date and agreed with me that the check engine code was not there when the warranty was purchased [redacted]

We show no calls to or from the number Mr [redacted] has listed in this complaint We have not spoken to Mr [redacted] .What happens on a regular basis is that a consumer will be receiving calls from another marketing company The consumer then receives one of our Company's mailed advertisements and assume the calls were coming from us as well That is not the case.Our company does NOT cold call consumers We only call previous customers who's extended service contract they have purchased prior is getting ready to expire or has expired.We will, however, create a file and remove Mr [redacted] address from our mailing listRespectfully

I have just received notification that my credit card has been refundedI have not received a letter of cancellation from the business, but I am willing to trust that no further contact will be received from themI thank Revdex.com for their help and hope that others will check your site before entering a contract with this company that has over complaints

If Mr [redacted] can provide us with the ID number from one of the mail pieces he has received, we can determine if they are being sent on our behalfIF he could provide copies of them, that would be even more helpful in identifying if they have been sent on our behalfThere are many marketing companies that send similar mailed advertisements Our company only markets for Revdex.com accredited A+ rated administrative companies such as [redacted] and [redacted] They have collectively paid over a billion dollars in repair claims for their customers in the time they have been in business If Mr [redacted] can provide copies of the mailed advertisements he has received or ID numbers from those mailers, and we can determine they have been sent on our behalf; we would be happy to remove him from our mailing list Until it can be determined these mailers were from our company, we respectfully request this complaint be removed from our file Thank you
