my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.There was no contact from Capital One at any point regarding the issues they are stating and I was given no opportunity to resolve the issues.  At no point did Capital One inform me of an issue except for when they closed the account, without any warning or contact.

,The issue isn't that you have never reported me, the issue is that you have reported me since Oct 2014. That was confirmed by [redacted]. They have stated that the creditor which is you, Capital One needs to contact them to correct the problem.I re-ran my credit report and it still has not been fixed. I can not coordinate your business dealing with [redacted], I have been told by Capital One several times that you report each month.However, [redacted] is stating that is not being done. Someone needs to physically make a phone call to [redacted] and get this problem fixed. Its unfair that how far this has to go to get resolved.

You have acknowledged my complaint, but have done nothing to resolve it. The $2000 credit limit increase you are referencing is one that I was entitled to for making my first 5 payments on time for the [redacted] card, and does not reflect anything having to do with the card combination process.
It's very simple. Capital one is offering a service, denying me that service, and refusing to explain why I'm being denied. The explanation of all the information being contained within the app is unacceptable.  The service is being advertised with the only caveats being publicly available. Unless all reasons for possible denial are made publicly available upon request, this falls into the realm of false advertisement.

I have received an invitation from Capital One to apply for a [redacted]. I have a good credit ([redacted]) and applied on their website which supposed to give me an answer in 60 seconds. Since I have a fraud security alert on my credit report, their system didn't give me any answer online and notified me that they will contact me later. They never contacted me and never sent me any mails for 20 days. Then I got an email from them that they couldn't obtain my phone number so they couldn't approve me. I called the 800 number and a representative gave me the Capital One Fraud department. The phone number takes you directly to a voice mail which asks you to leave a message and somebody will call you within 24-48 hours. I have called them 4 times in the span of 20 days but nobody called me back. My problem is not to get the credit card from Capital One, my problem is that they have got my credit report ([redacted]) so I've got a negative point already and then they even didn't deny me. They are looking for my phone number and I can't give it to them because their fraud alert department doesn't answer their calls. This complaint is mainly to report Capital One is an irresponsible and incompetent company who doesn't value their client relationship.

I recently opened an account with Capital One. My account was locked due to me access the website while traveling for work. When I called in to the Customer Service Center, they advised me that I needed to talked to the security team. I understand that point and have no issue with it. My problem is that I've had to calling 4 different times and all I get is a voicemail box for the security team and never get a call back. At this point I asked the customer service supervisor to close the account. She told me that I would have to have the security team help with that. So now I'm stuck with an open account that I can't access, use, or close...

Kohl’s for resolution. While Kohl’s has an established partnership with Capital One N.A., we provide the in-house servicing for your Kohl’s Charge account. As it is my intent to provide our valued customers with quality service, I appreciate the opportunity to review and resolve your concerns. In your complaint, you state you did not receive your March 2015 statement, which subsequently led to you missing your April 2015 due date and a late fee billing your account. You ask that we refund the late fee based on this information. As a courtesy to you, we have credited the $25.00 late fee back to your account. This credit resulted in a credit balance in the amount of $25.00. You can use this credit against your next purchase, contact us directly to have a check mailed to you, or a check will be automatically issued to you if the credit balance remains after 90 days of no new activity. Our records show that your March 2015 statement showed a balance of $54.11, with a minimum of $25.00 due by April 12, 2015. Regrettably, we did not receive your payment by the due date, resulting in the assessment of a $25.00 late fee to your account. This fee appeared on your April 2015 billing statement, which reflected a balance of $80.17 and a minimum of $51.00 due by May 12, 2015.
