I am rejecting this response because: I contacted Safe Home two weeks prior to the date their notes indicate. Those options provided aren't geared towards taking care of me as a customer. I've been paying for monitoring 18 months without a home being monitored. $60.99 x 18 months is 1097.82 for basically nothing. Cancel my contract, I no longer want to do business with a company this shady.

Mr.[redacted]  at his business [redacted] in [redacted] and discussed upgrading his current alarm and camera system. We spoke the next week and he agreed to go with the upgrade, we then did the alarm installation and upgraded the [redacted]. When our tech installed the system signals were sent to our central station and ever part of the alarm was in working order. The [redacted] was installed and there was an issue with viewing the store from off premiss. Our tech worked with Mr.[redacted] and his internet provider on a Saturday for several hours to help solve the problem. We were unable to get it working at that time, so we had our rep from the camera company make a special trip with our tech to the store to get the system working correctly. We solved the problem, which was with the internet, and gave Mr.[redacted] the passwords and spent several hours showing him how to operate the system. After a couple days I received a call from a screaming Mr.[redacted] claiming that the [redacted] wasn’t working, the problem was that he hadn’t taken the time to write down his password and blamed the equipment ,he was using the wrong password. At this point I realized that he was looking for a way to get cancel our agreement, he signed a contract for his alarm and paid for the [redacted]. HE claims that he had an attempted break in and the glassbreak dector didn’t work. This is the same piece of equipment that was there, it was tested and worked when our tech was there. We did everything possible to make Mr.[redacted] happy, we held up our end of our agreement and he did not.  [redacted]

[redacted]   WENT OVER CONSTRUCTION ADDENDUM WITH [redacted] AND AGREED TO APPLY TO OLD ACCOUNT UNTIL NEW HOME IS BUILT IN JULY OF 2017.  THE OLD ACCOUNT IS IN GOOD STANDING AND WILL BE CANCELED ONCE THE NEW ACCOUNT IS INSTALLED.   ISSUE RESOLVED WITH CUSTOMER, JUST WAITING FOR SIGNED CONSTRUCTION ADDENDUM TO APPLY TO ACCOUNT. The client has a 60 month agreement.  It is on both the contract and the installation certfificate.  Both forms were provided to teh client at install over 3 years ago.  The client has a 90% buyout provision within the contract.  Consider this the official amount owed to cancel (18 months x $34.95 x 90%) = $566.19.

Mr. [redacted] - [redacted] will still be responsible for the agreement he signed. Without proper documents stating that he has a ( P.O.A. ) overseeing him, he will be held to the agreement that he signed.

Revdex.com:I have the letter from Safe Home Security dated  Aug 25,2016 confirming they received my cancellation letter as well as clearing the attached cashier check for the September payment of 54.99 on Aug 23,2016.  Since my original contract was with [redacted]io, I didn't receive any notice of Safe Home as the provider of my monitoring, I needed to research and located SHS and was advised to mail letter and payment to office in CT. With that being said, I can't fathom my letter was not received until the date that SHS had indicated of Oct.5,2016.  I am pleased to hear that I am no longer under contract and amnot responibsle for any outstanding balances as noted on the billing statement (10/10/16).  no

I am rejecting this response because:I called business a couple times in late 2015, each time I was told by representatives that they had lots  about customers being mis-lead and bad sales tactics. I was told multiple times that they would return calls and I never heard back from them for 2 years! Even the last call I made I was "disconnected " while waiting for a manager .I never received service I was promised and was told by company that they couldn't honor what sales representative promised.

I am rejecting this response because:I certainly wish I had known about the three-day cancellation window. If I'm able to acquire the panel could you all provide free installation as promised along with door and window alarm features?

However, I will require them to correct any reporting made to any credit bureau, and once they have been paid send a written statement via e-mail to me that the contract is terminated and that I have no other obligation to them or any of their affiliate companies. If these additional terms are acceptable let me know to whom and where I send the money. 
Additionally, I always pay legitimate bills, however this company has no ethics and per all the online complaints is really only about generating money with very little regard to servicing customers. I take offense to their statement that I owe them per the contract, and  they do not need to provide service. Their statement contradicts their own contact.

While I am happy that the account is to be closed, I still need reversal of the previous charges. The Security One team which installed the new...

equipment removed the old equipment.  therefore, the old equipment will need to be located and returned if the new equipment is to be removed.

I am rejecting this response because:I called early enough to cancel so that I would not be charged for January either, however, I was told that I could not request to cancel the service until after my contract was over. On 2 separate occasions I was given misleading information by the staff. Only in the third call did I speak with someone who agreed that my account can be cancelled because the contract is done. On both of the previous 2 calls I was lied to. The first person refused to cancel the service and said I called too early, I decided on my own to send the email anyway. On the second call the representative told me I had to call 60 days prior to the end of my contract so now I am required to pay for February and March. During this call I was also told that there is not a corporate of that I could contact. The caller identified themselves as Kaylen. She said if I read my contract I should know it takes 60days notice to cancel even on a month to month. I should be reimbursed for both February and March because I called with enough time to avoid those charges, however the staff advised me that I had to wait before requesting cancellation. Kaylen said the rep before her had given me the wrong information but for now I would have to pay for February as well as March.

I am rejecting this response because: It does not matter whether the 30-day period is common, or...

not.  The salesman stated specifically that although the contract had 3 days in writing, he would verbally give us 30 days.  I asked him to confirm that statement a second time, and he did.  My wife and I both heard him make this promise a second time, before we agreed to sign anything.  We will hold this company to the promise your salesman made, twice, in the presence of two witnesses.

I am rejecting this response because:  I was not okay with it. Kamisha and I never spoke again after all they could do was give me 2 months free. It is ridiculous I am paying for service I am not receiving. I got the service only because of the cameras which they will not service because they have no one to service them. So again, I had to pay $840. Last year to service them.  I was also never told to call back end of 2018 or 2019 by Kamisha. I was told by Candice P[redacted] of Safe Home about mid 2016 to call back in 2017 to get my bill lowered.

1.  Safe Security took over the existing contract from [redacted].  I had that company for 9 years and I had Safe Secuiry for an additional 4 years.  I have more than exceeded the 5 year contract limit since my contract reads at the top clearly "TAKE OVER".  A copy of this can be sent if necessary.2.  They state that I should be monitoring my own system, however what am I paying them for.  They should be monitoring my home. The unit was disconnected and they never noticed me that my system was possibly tampered with.  3.  If we can not come to an amicable agreement, I will be pursuing this with both the Attorney Generals of [redacted] and Connecticut.4.  I was charged about $48.00 for batteries, which was paid to the representative, and then the office told me this was coved under my contract.  Where did the $48.00 go?
