The alarm system is the customer's property in which the customer is ultimately responsible to maintain its proper functioning. Any false alarm fines incurred by the homeowner are to be paid by the homeowner. This account is in agreement until May 31, 2018.-Justin

However, I cannot make immediate payment. My mother's estate has not settled and there are no funds currently available to make payment by check, credit card or debit. The attorney handling this matter is on vacation until next week. When she returns I will attempt to get a better handle on when funds may be available for disbursement. This is the best that I can do at this time.

.After review of the account it is our stance that all options and terms were gone over with the customer and the customer accepted said terms.  The original complaint states that we told the customer it was something it was not but after reviewing it was explained to the customer that the...

“price protection plan” that was offered was for a 60 month term at the same rate and offered the customer a full parts and labor warranty aswell as a home owners insurance certificate.  It was also expressed to the customer they will either need to send in a cancelation email 60 days prior to the end of term if they wished to cancel or if they ended up selling their home we will terminate the account with proof of the sale without penalty.  I have reached out to [redacted] [redacted] several times to address any concerns and have not received a call back as of yet.  This was also a carbon copy hand written contract mailed to the customer on November 25th and was not signed by the customer until December 12th which leaves almost 2 weeks to review the contract.  The price and term were highlighted on the agreement and all spots where acknowledged, initialed and signed by [redacted].  Attached is a copy of the most recent agreement and our final stance is we are standing by the contract signed 12/12/16 for 60 months.  David R[redacted]CRO,Chief Retention Officer Safe Home Security[redacted]Middletownl, CT. 06457###-###-#### ext[redacted]

Unfortunately at this time we are unable to change the rate or terms of the current contract. She was informed to try back late...

2018, or early 2019, as we might be able to work something out closer to her end date.  At the time we spoke she was understanding, although understandably frustrated. The client has a 5 year agreement with Safe Home that expires 10/2016.  Customers are responsibile for testing teh system and notifying us if it is not functioning.  We do offer a 90% buyout on contracts so this customer may cancel with a payment of $182.32.

I'm very sorry but we are not issuing a refund.  Please see our previous response.

I have sent client copy of agreement, so she can have competitor the payoff amount of $604.89

Although this account is in agreement until July 5, 2016, Safe Home Security has agreed to cancel the account without penalty. There is no further money due and the account has been closed with a zero balance.

It was brought to our attention that [redacted] has filed a complaint against Safe Home Security Inc because she was having issues with her alarm...

system.
          The customer was upset because her secondary keypad was beeping so since the customer has a busy schedule, we had a technician go to her home on a Saturday, on his day off.  Based on the technician’s evaluation, he stated that the secondary keypad needed to be replaced.  The part was ordered and the service has been scheduled. 
          [redacted] has been with us since 11/16/2014 and has always had signals and her home has always been protected.   She was given three contacts to reach directly (Jazmine ext.[redacted] Stephanie ext. [redacted] and Greg ext. [redacted] if she needed anything.  In reviewing her history, we have always credited the customer s if she had a service issue. The customer recently signed a new agreement were we upgraded her cellular transmitter at no charge and is upset because she signed the agreement.  She was not tricked or pressured into signing whatsoever.  We will be servicing the customer to swap out her secondary keypad at no charge and has been credited two months but we will not release her from the agreement she signed for upgrade.  ###-###-####   Stephanie ext.
