Dear [redacted],
I am writing in reference to [redacted]’s complaint concerning his mother. American Mint does not have an account under [redacted]’s name or the address listed. Without his mother’s name and address or an account number, we are unable to locate the account...

for research.[redacted] states that he has asked American Mint to stop soliciting his mother. If his mother has an account, we can research the matter and cease shipments, if applicable, and remove her name from our mailing list. American Mint offers collectible coins, knives, and jewelry; we do not sell ceramics and plaques as [redacted] listed on the complaint. [redacted]’s mother may be on other numerous collectibles company mailing lists.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused [redacted] and his mother. Please let me know if you need anything further. Thank you for your assistance in settling this matter.

record of receiving an order from **. [redacted] in early March for a free [redacted]Career Victory coin. This offer was paid via check #*26 for the shipping and handling of $4.95. We also have record of another order in March for a 1 Sitting Bull Sacagawea coin and a Remain Close to Great Spirit coin. This offer was paid via check #*28 for $9.90. Each coin was $4.95 and the shipping and handling was also $4.95. At the time the order was placed, the shipping and handling was not paid. We promptly received payment for the outstanding $4.95 via check #*33 on 3/31/14.We spoke with **. [redacted] on 4/29/14. Dear [redacted],I am writing in reference to [redacted]’ rebuttal. [redacted] states that items are sent for preview with [redacted] Coin company, but American Mint disguises that. We apologize that [redacted] feels that way. All of American Mints order forms have a paragraph titled the American Mint Satisfaction Guarantee. This paragraph was located right underneath [redacted]’ signature. This paragraph reads “by returning this form, you will have the privilege of receiving future issues in the collection through our FREE in-home approval service. No further action is required on your part. If you do not wish to preview future issues of the collection, please X out this paragraph. The American Mint Preferred Collector’s Price is guaranteed for you. You will be billed only for the items you decide to keep. If you pay by credit card, future shipments will not be charged until 25 days after the invoice date. You are under no obligation! If you are not satisfied with any item that is shipped to you, you may send it back within 20 days at our cost for replacement, credit or refund. American Mint has no minimum purchase requirements. You can cancel this service at any time by calling toll free 1-877-807-MINT.”
[redacted] is only being billed for the 1787 Brasher EB Replica coin if he decides to keep it. He did not contact American Mint to state that he did not wish to keep this item. As stated in the initial complaint response, the 1787 Brasher EB Replica coin can be returned to reconcile the account. A postage paid return label was already mailed to him. The 1849 Liberty Head Double Eagle coin that was ordered and paid via check #[redacted] is [redacted]’ to keep.
Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused [redacted]. Let me know if you need anything further. Thank you for your assistance in settling this matter.Sincerely

I will keep this short, No need to give American Mint more then it deserves. First I placed an order with the offer for a knife for $9.95 + ship and handling. I received the product with a watch and 2 knifes. I looked at the invoice to see if they had made a mistake or if it was a promotion. I saw nothing to say I owed them 59.95. So I sent one to my father who is in the middle east US Air force Afghanistan. Later I noticed a charge of 59.95 on my credit card. I called and they told me I need to pay I explained that I did not order anything, they told me I did not mark on the card I told them I looked and did not see anything like that. Jump to now its bin 4 months and I'm still have this problem. They want me to pay 59.95 after they charged my Credit card. I called absolutely no help the most horrible service. They want there knife at all coast back.I was explaining to them that they need to be clear and stop these sneaky tactics. PLEASE I beg you to NEVER ORDER FROM THEM and tell your friends and family spread the word out!!!

I am writing in reference to Ms. [redacted]’s complaint. The account is in the name of Mr. [redacted]. We received an introductory order form in the mail from Mr. [redacted] on 3/7/14 for a free Petty 200" Career Victory coin. We received payment of $4.95 for the shipping and handling with check #[redacted]. This...

package was shipped to Mr. [redacted]’s address on 3/10/14. Another item, a Petty 1" Daytona 500 win coin, was sent along inside the same package for preview with no obligation to purchase as it states on the order form in the American Mint Satisfaction Guarantee. Ms. [redacted] has a copy of this order form enclosed in her complaint.Despite Ms. [redacted] stating that her son never received previous bills, American Mint mailed reminder notices to Mr. [redacted] on a monthly basis from April until November. The outstanding balance entered collection status, with [redacted]y, on 11/13/14 in the amount of $87,45. [redacted]y mails letters and makes phone calls to collect a debt. An account statement was mailed to Mr. [redacted] to show him that the Petty 1" Daytona 500 win coin is outstanding.
After a telephone conversation on 1/10/15, a request for a copy of the order form was submitted. Ms. [redacted] has a copy attached to the complaint. Payment or a return of the Petty 1“Daytona 500 win coin will reconcile the account balance with American Mint and thus, [redacted]y.
