I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Regards,
[redacted] [redacted]
The claim said, refund was issued on July 10 2017.Yet on this day as of July 17 2017 there was no credit on my card.I called my credit card company and disputed the charge and now I have a zero balance. It is funny how American mint attempted to blame me for thier scam.I will never deal with them again. All is good and I want to thank the B.B.B. for all help in this matter.

5/2/2017Dear [redacted]:I am writing in reference to [redacted]'s complaint. We received an introductory order form in the mail from Ms Hoffman on 3/13/2017 for a Donald Trump - Oath of Office coin. We did not receive payment for this item, but we went ahead and shipped this package to [redacted]...

[redacted]'s address on 3/13/2017. (the coin was $79.95 and there was a $6.95 shipping and handling fee)On 4/25/2017, American Mint received a return package from [redacted] containing, among other things, the Donald Trump - Oath of Office coin. As a result, a credit in the amount of S86.90 was issued for [redacted]. Per this Revdex.com complaint, we have issued an account cleared letter for [redacted].  Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] did not refund the 19.95 after I determined Amer Mint had issued a credit memo and [redacted] had debited them also (creating in essence 2 credits). At the request of Amer Mint this week I have spoken with [redacted]. [redacted] said that "due to the way American Mint handled the transaction they were sent paperwork to complete & return to [redacted] in order to claim their 19.95". That info was passed onto Amer Mint this date. This has become an issue between [redacted] & Amer Mint & I cannot fight the battle for them. That too was passed along to Amer Mint this date. [redacted] requires the paperwork be completed & returned to which they will refund the 19.95. I am out of the picture & have already scheduled with [redacted] payment of the 19.95 before my due date of Sept 14th.
Regards,
[redacted]

8/5/2015Dear [redacted],I am writing in reference to [redacted]’s complaint. The account is under [redacted]. We received two introductory order forms in the mail from [redacted]. Every time an introductory order is placed, other merchandise from that corresponding collection is sent for...

This paragraph also states “You will be billed only for the items you decide to keep. If you pay by credit card, future shipments will not be charged until 25 days after the invoice date. You are under no obligation! If you are not satisfied with any item that is shipped to you, you may send it back within 20 days at our cost for replacement, credit or refund.” Enclosed are copies of [redacted]’s order forms. On 4/14/15, [redacted] ordered a free $100 Franklin [redacted] commemorative coin. We received payment of $4.95 for shipping and handling with [redacted]5685*. This package was shipped to [redacted]’s address on 4/15/15. Another item, a $20 Jackson 2004-2013 commemorative coin, was sent along inside the same package for preview with no obligation to purchase. The price of $89.95 for the $20 Jackson 2004-2013 coin was billed to the credit card on 5/18/15 after the preview period commenced. The “USA Federal Reserve Notes” commemorative coin collection continued by shipping out a $50 Grant 2004-2009 commemorative coin on 5/19/15. The price of $95.90 ($89.95 for the coin plus $5.95 for shipping and handling) was billed to the credit card on 6/18/15 after the preview period commenced. On 5/22/15, [redacted] also ordered a Dwight Eisenhower commemorative coin. We received payment of $9.90 ($4.95 for the coin itself plus $4.95 for shipping and handling) with [redacted]5685*. This package was shipped to [redacted]'s address on 5/26/15. A Franklin D Roosevelt coin was sent for preview with no obligation to purchase. The price of $79.95 for the Franklin D Roosevelt coin was billed to the credit card on 6/25/15 after the preview period commenced. This order introduced the “Leaders of World War II” commemorative collection. On 6/8/15, a $10 Hamilton 2004A-2009 commemorative coin was shipped as a continuation of . the “USA Federal Reserve Notes” collection. This coin was returned on 7/15/15. It was never billed to the credit card.On 6/19/15, a Douglas MacArthur Strike coin was shipped as a continuation of the “Leaders of World War II.” This coin was returned on 7/15/15. It was never billed to the credit card.On 6/26/15 , ? $5 Lincoln 2006-2013 commemorative coin was shipped as a continuation of the “USA Federal Reserve Notes” collection. This coin was returned on 7/15/15. It was never billed to the credit card. The last package was shipped on 7/7/15 and contained a George Marshall commemorative coin as a continuation of the “USA Federal Reserve Notes” collection. This coin is outstanding as payment or a return has not been received. We spoke with [redacted] on 7/7/15. At this time, we cancelled the active collections on [redacted]’s account and prevented any further invoices to be billed to the credit card. We advised her that American Mint was not practicing elderly abuse as we were unaware of [redacted]'s age at the time he placed the two orders. We offered to mail a postage paid return label but [redacted] declined the offer. We also informed her that a package was mailed that morning (The George Marshall coin) and advised her to refuse the package. As noted above, this invoice has not been returned. [redacted]’s complaint states that we have continued to mail her father merchandise. The last package was mailed on 7/7/15. No further packages have been mailed since we spoke with [redacted] on 7/7/15. On 7/15/15, we received and processed the returns of the $10 Hamilton 2004A-2009 coin, the Douglas MacArthur Strike coin, and the $5 Lincoln 2006-2013 coin. These three coins were not billed to the credit card per the telephone conversation on 7/7/15 and the returns reconciled the outstanding balances. The $100 Franklin 2009-2009A coin, the $20 Jackson 2004-2013 coin, the $50 Grant 2004-2009 coin, the Dwight Eisenhower coin and the Franklin D Roosevelt coin were also returned that day. However, these items were already billed to the credit card and had exceeded our 30 day return policy. Thus, these coins were returned to [redacted] with a letter indicating that they exceeded our return policy timeframe. We apologize if [redacted] was not informed of our return policy at the time of the 7/7/15 telephone conversation. On 8/3/15 we spoke with [redacted] in reference to the account. We advised her again that the additional 5 coins were returned to [redacted] because they exceeded our return policy - timeframe. We advised her that the account would be reviewed by management. We also emailed her a postage paid return label to return the Outstanding George Marshall coin that was mailed on 7/7/15. American Mint has made an exception to our return policy and will allow [redacted] to return all of the coins on [redacted]’s account. These coins are: The $100 Franklin 2009-2009A coin, the $20 Jackson 2004-2013 coin, the $50 Grant 2004–2009 coin, the Dwight Eisenhower coin, the Franklin D Roosevelt coin, and the George Marshall coin. Another return label has been emailed to [redacted]. Upon receipt of the George Marshall coin, [redacted]’s account will be reconciled. Upon receipt of the additional coins, [redacted]’s [redacted] will be automatically refunded. Enclosed is a copy of [redacted]’s account statement. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused [redacted] and his daughter, [redacted]. Please let me know if you need anything further. Thank you for your assistance in settling this matter.Sincerely,Susan DDirector of Client Services

[redacted] states she returned the Trump - Business coin but was never refunded the $84.74 that she was charged 03/16/2017. This paragraph also states “You will be billed only for the items you decide to keep. If you pay by credit card, future shipments will not be charged until 25 days after the invoice date. We received the package he sent back on 01/17/17 which cleared the 1 invoice up and we refunded [redacted]'s credit card the $9.90 he initially paid. The reason [redacted] continues to receive bills, is for the 2" package we sent on 01/09/17. Per the Post Office in Crystal Lake, Il that package was delivered to [redacted]'s address 01/14/17 per the USPS tracking# [redacted]. To clear the account we enclosed a self addressed postage paid return label, so [redacted] can return the package free of charge. Once we receive invoice#2 back, [redacted]'s account balance will be cleared. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused [redacted]. Please let me know if you need anything further. I am Writing in reference to Ms. [redacted]'s complaint. We received an introductory order form in the mail from Ms. [redacted] on 10/27/2016 for a Service of Thanksgiving 70mm coin. This item is part of the Diamond Jubilee Weekend + Coin Collection Series. We received payment of $14.90 (the coin itself was...

$9.95 with a $4.95 shipping and handling fee) via check # 12481. This package was shipped to Ms. [redacted]'s address on 10/28/2016. Another item, a Buckingham Palace Concert 70 mm coin, was sent along inside the same package for preview with no obligation to purchase as it states on the order form in the American Mint Satisfaction Guarantee. This paragraph also states “You will be billed only for the items you decide to keep. If you pay by credit card, future shipments will not be charged until 25 days after the invoice date. You are under no obligation! If you are not satisfied with any item that is shipped to you, you may send it back within 20 days at our cost for replacement, credit or refund. Enclosed is a copy of this order form.We do provide postage paid return labels upon request, as it states on the reverse side of our “Returns Information Form” enclosed in all of our packages. Our hours of operation, email address and toll free phone number are also located on this paperwork. Please note that the package that was shipped to Ms. [redacted]'s address on 10/28/2016 should have contained the Pocket Watch “St. George' item which Ms. [redacted] refers to in her complaint. This item was a free item. Per this complaint, American Mint has mailed Ms. [redacted] a new Pocket Watch “St. George' item. She should expect to receive this item by the end of next week.American Mint received a payment of $22.95 via check # 12551 on 26/2017 This amount was credited towards her current outstanding balance due to her non-payment of the Buckingham Palace Concert 70 mm coin. Please note that Ms. [redacted] had been previously placed on a payment plan for the Buckingham Palace coin. I have attached a copy of the installment plan for your convenience. As the document indicates, Ms. [redacted] only made three out of the six payments that were due according to the plan. The last payment we received from Ms. [redacted] under this plan was on 4/4/2017 in the amount of $24.25. Please note that American Mint still has not received full payment for the Buckingham Palace coin. Please advise Ms. [redacted] that she was shipped the next item in the Diamond Jubilee Weekend tCoin Collection Series, the Buckingham Palace Concert 70 mm coin, to preview with no obligation to purchase since she did not cross off the American Mint Satisfaction Guarantee paragraph as directed on her enclosed order form. Thus, she authorized American Mint to ship her this future issue in the collection series. Since she kept this item beyond the free 20 day preview period, she was accordingly billed for it. Please note that American Mint has never received the return of the Buckingham Palace Concert 70 mm coin, nor full payment for this item.On 1 1/22/2016. Ms. [redacted] contacted American Mint for a postage paid, self-addressed return label for use with a subsequent order which is not at issue in the instant complaint. Ms. [redacted] has never contacted American Mint for a postage paid, self-addressed mailing label for use of the return of the Buckingham Palace coin. If Ms. [redacted] claims to have returned the Buckingham Palace coin using her own return label, she needs to either contact American Mint with the tracking number or file a lost package claim with her local post office. On 6/20/2017, we received an e-mail from Ms. [redacted] which requested her current account balance. An American Mint Customer Service representative responded that same day and stated that her current account balance is $72.75.In order to clear Ms. [redacted]'s account balance, she will either need to pay $72.75 or return the Buckingham Palace Concert 70 mm coin using the enclosed postage paid, selfaddressed return label. Please have Ms. [redacted] include the relevant invoice and paperwork With her return. *Per this complaint, We have removed Ms. [redacted] from our mailing list. Please allow 90 days for all mailings to cease. We have also cancelled Ms. [redacted]'s subscriptions to her coin collection Series. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused Ms. [redacted]. You are under no obligation! Our hours of operation, email address and toll free phone number are also located on this paperwork.Upon receiving the preview item, [redacted] never contacted us regarding the error, nor did she return the preview item. [redacted] called us on 11/25/15 regarding her outstanding invoice. [redacted] stated that she no longer had the preview item and would not pay the balance on the account. I am rejecting this response because:  This is a misrepresentation of the circumstances.  As I previously noted...this company is guilty of "bait and switch" practices.  Furthermore, the response letter quite carefully states that they received no call or letter from me.  It states nothing about email communication.  I sent an email to [redacted] on April 24 stating that if I did not receive a response within 48 hours, I would be filing a claim with the Revdex.com.  I STILL have not received any response from [redacted] I have however received no less that four mailings attempting to get me to purchase other items.  I will return the item sent to me without my authorization. I will also return the watch that was sent to me as "part of the deal" so to speak.  I would like to know what the Revdex.com can do to stop this company from it's clearly dishonorably business model.  This company is abusing people and should be stopped immediately. That is my reason for rejecting the response.

Eagles were offered at a promotional price and we limit those items to one per household. I have attached a copy of our terms and agreement to the end of this response. We immediately refunded [redacted] $381.05 to [redacted] and shipped him, on 04/11/2017, one Silver Eagle coin. [redacted] spoke to a customer service representative on 04/11/2017 and a supervisor on the same day. Both explained we only offer one per household since it is a promotion price. We have a very limited quantity of these at this price and need to reserve quantities due to demand.[redacted] states he wants the additional 19 Silver Eagle coins at the promotional price. We are unable to process an order for the additional 19 pieces he is requesting due to inventory. We also understand his concerns with our website not informing him of the restriction of purchase. He can return the current Silver Eagle using a pre-paid return label and we will refund his purchase. We are sorry the website did not notify him at the time of purchase and we have notified our IT department to look into this. This is the first time we have had any issues with customers ordering more than one piece of this promotional item.We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused [redacted]. Please let me know if you need anything further. Thank you for your assistance in settling this matter.Sincerely,Susan D. Director of Client Services
