12/15/2016Dear [redacted],I am writing in reference to [redacted]'s complaint. We received an introductory internet order from [redacted] on 12/01/2016 for 4 of the Donald Trump 2017-2021 Presidential coins. There was a credit/debit card payment of $24.75 received at the time (the coins were $4.95...
each plus $4.95 shipping and handling). This package was shipped to [redacted]’s address on 12/07/2016.[redacted]'s complaint states that he placed an internet order on 12/01/2016 for the Donald Trump coins but decided to cancel the order and called on 12/01/2016. When he spoke to the representative he advised them his name was William M[redacted]. After checking the account we found no order. We placed a warning on the account for no order to be processed. On 12/07/2016 [redacted] called back and gave the name Dave M[redacted]. We found the account and the order under that name and explained the order had already been shipped to him.We have enclosed a postage paid return label for his convenience in returning the coins. We apologize for any inconveniences this may have cause [redacted]. Please let me know if you need anything further. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.Sincerely,Susan D. Director of Client Services

cease. Please inform [redacted] to discard any mailings he receives. If he has further questions please let us know.Respectfully,Susan D[redacted]Director of Client Services

package was shipped to [redacted]'s address on 6/27/2016. Another item, a Insure Domestic Tranquility coin, was sent along inside the same package for preview with no obligation to purchase as it states on the order form in the American Mint Satisfaction Guarantee. This paragraph also states "You will be billed only for the items you decide to keep. If you pay by credit card, future shipments will not be charged until 25 days after the invoice date. You are under no obligation! If you are not satisfied with any item that is shipped to you, you may send it back within 20 days at our cost for replacement, credit or refund. Enclosed is a copy of this order form.We do provide postage paid return labels upon request, as it states on the reverse side of our "Returns Information Form” enclosed in all of our packages. Our hours of operation, email address and toll free phone number are also located on this paperwork.[redacted] spoke with a representative on 11/1/2016 regarding only receiving one coin. We had no other communication with [redacted] since June when the coin was shipped. During this time [redacted] received and invoice, with his order, for the Insure Domestic Tranquility coin and additionally two Dunning letters regarding the outstanding balance. [redacted] did not contact our office to inform us of any issues.[redacted]'s complaint states that he never received the merchandise that he was being billed for. However, we were not notified of this. If American Mint were informed, we would have sent paperwork stating that the merchandise in question was indeed not received and lost in the mail. We would have [redacted] to sign, date, and return the paperwork to our office for processing and clearing of the invoice. However, we have since processed this manually, thus clearing [redacted]'s account. We have also closed his account. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused [redacted]. Please let me know if you need anything further. Thank you for your assistance in settling this matter.Sincerely, Susan D.Director of Client Services
9/5/2017Dear [redacted]:I am writing in reference to [redacted] rebuttal letter. [redacted] filed an initial consumer complaint with the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) on 8/29/2017. American Mint responded to [redacted]’ complaint in a letter dated 8/29/2017 (hereinafter referred to as the “initial response letter). American Mint hereby restates and reincorporates its initial response letter by reference. [redacted] filed a rebuttal to American Mint's initial response letter on 8/30/2017.In our initial response letter, we explained that [redacted]'s account had been processed internally as a post loss after he stated that he did not receive the 2017 $1 Silver Eagle coin and the Boston Tea Party coin. [redacted] placed an order for the 2017 $1 Silver Eagle coin on 3/1/2017. He made a credit card payment of $19.95 on 3/8/2017. [redacted] was shipped the Silver Eagle coin. He was also shipped next item in his coin collection series, the Boston Tea Party coin, to preview with no obligation to purchase pursuant to the American Mint Satisfaction Guarantee paragraph on [redacted]' order form. On 4/10/2017, [redacted] filed a credit card dispute concerning the $19.95 charge. [redacted] alleged that he never received the Silver Eagle coin nor the Boston Tea Party coin. American Mint credited the $19.95 back to [redacted] account pending the outcome of the dispute. On 5/3/2017. [redacted] bank credited the $19.95 back to American Mint's account after we won the credit card dispute. On 6/15/2017, we processed [redacted] account internally as a post loss. His account was issued a credit in the amount of $119.90. On 6/16/2017. his credit card was issued a refund payment in the amount of $19.95. He was refunded the payment he had already made for this order. At this time, his account balance was cleared. However, on 6/16/2017, [redacted] filed a second credit card dispute with his bank concerning the same $19.95 charge which had already been refunded to him. As a result, American Mint credited an additional $19.95 to [redacted] account pending the outcome of his second credit card dispute. This is why [redacted] now has an account balance of $19.95 and continues to be billed. [redacted] has been refunded twice by American Mint in the amount of $19.95 when he was only owed one refund.[redacted] alleges in his rebuttal letter that [redacted] had refunded American Mint the $19.95 backon 7/18/2017 after he allegedly had [redacted] reverse his second credit card dispute. Please note that American Mint has never received this amount back.American Mint requests that [redacted] provide American Mint with a [redacted] statement showing that we were refunded the $19.95 payment on 7/18/2017.We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused [redacted]. Please let me know if you need anything further. Thank you for your assistance in settling this matter.Sincerely,Susan DDirector of Client Services

7/19/2016 Dear [redacted],I am writing in reference to [redacted]'s complaint. We received an introductory order form in the mail from [redacted] on 3/21/2016 for an Amendment II coin. No payment was received and we sent the item in good faith. This package was shipped to [redacted]'s address...
and received, per USPS, on 3/26/2016 tracking #[redacted]. Another item, an Amendment I, was sent along inside the same package for preview with no obligation to purchase as it states on the order form in the American Mint Satisfaction Guarantee. This paragraph also states "You will be billed only for the items you decide to keep. If you pay by credit card, future shipments will not be charged until 25 days after the invoice date. You are under no obligation! If you are not satisfied with any item that is shipped to you, you may send it back within 20 days at our cost for replacement, credit or refund.” Enclosed is a copy of this order form.We do provide postage paid return labels upon request, as it states on the reverse side of our "Returns Information Form” enclosed in all of our packages. Our hours of operation, email address and toll free phone number are also located on this paperwork. We received a letter from [redacted] on 6/15/2016 stating he never received the package. We sent a copy of the delivery confirmation from USPS. We received another letter on 6/27/2016 stating he did not receive the package. On 7/13/2016 another letter came in from [redacted] stating the items were not received. We sent a post loss letter for him to fill out and return to us.[redacted]'s complaint states that he never received the merchandise that he was being billed for. However, we do have confirmation from USPS it was delivered. Since we have received numerous letters from [redacted], we have cleared his account and removed him from our collection agency. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused [redacted]. 03/15/2017Dear [redacted],I am writing in reference to [redacted]'s complaint. We received two introductory order forms in the mail from [redacted], the first order on 12/27/2016 for a Declaration of Independence coin. We received a payment of $26.90 (the coin was $19.95 plus $6.95 the shipping and...
handling) check# [redacted]. This package was shipped to [redacted]'s address on 01/03/2017. Another item, a Mayflower Compact coin, was sent along inside the same package for preview. The second order we received on 02/16/2017 for a Bald Eagle Knife. We received a payment of $14.90 (the knife was $9.95 plus $4.95 the shipping and handling) check# [redacted]. This package was shipped to [redacted]'s address on 03/09/2017. Another item, a Big Horn Ram knife, was sent along inside the same package for preview with no obligation to purchase as it states on the order form in the American Mint Satisfaction Guarantee. 'Enclosed is a copy of this order form.We do provide postage paid return labels upon request, as it states on the reverse side of our “Returns Information Form” enclosed in all of our packages. Our hours of operation, email address and toll free phone number are also located on this paperwork.[redacted]'s complaint states that he placed both orders but never received the merchandise. [redacted] called American Mint on 02/03/2017 and advised us he never received the first order so we sent him a claim form, processed the claim for this order as a lost package and sent [redacted] a replacement order 03/15/2017. The second order we processed on 03/10/2017 and is currently in the mail to be delivered to [redacted]. We ask [redacted] due to the inclement weather we received, to allow more time to receive both orders. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused [redacted]. Please let me know if you need anything further. Thank you for your assistance in settling this matter.Sincerely,Susan D. Director of Client Services
12/1/2017Dear [redacted]:I am writing in reference to [redacted]'s complaint. We received an introductory order form in themail from [redacted] on 5/9/2017 for a Liberty 1886 coin. This item is part of the Statue of Liberty Anniversary Coin Collection Series. We received payment of $6.95 (the coin was...
free with a fee of $6.95 for shipping and handling) via check # 2414. This package was shipped to [redacted]'s address on 5/10/2017. Another item, a Beacon of Light coin, was sent along inside the same package for preview with no obligation to purchase as it states on the order form in the American Mint Satisfaction Guarantee. This paragraph also states “You will be billed only for the items you decide to keep. If you pay by credit card, future shipments will not be charged until 25 days after the invoice date. You are under no obligation! If you are not satisfied with any item that is shipped to you, you may send it back within 20 days at our cost for replacement, credit or refund.” Enclosed is a copy of this order form.We do provide postage paid return labels upon request, as it states on the reverse side of our “Returns Information Form” enclosed in all of our packages. Our hours of operation, email address and toll free phone number are also located on this paperwork. Please advise [redacted] that he was shipped the next item in the Statue of Liberty Anniversary Coin Collection Series, the Beacon of Light coin, as a result of him not crossing off the American Mint Satisfaction Guarantee paragraph on his order form. By not crossing off this paragraph and voluntarily returning his completed order form to American Mint, [redacted] authorized American Mint to ship him future issues of his coin collection series at the regular prices to preview with no obligation to purchase. Since he kept the Beacon of Light coin past the free 20 day preview period, he was billed for this item. Please note that we have never received payment for the Beacon of Light coin nor its return. This is why [redacted] continues to receive billing notices and is accruing late fees.On 7/25/2017, we received a second introductory order form in the mail from [redacted] for a Donald Trump coin. This item is part of the Presidential Leadership Coin Collection Series. We received payment of $9.90 (the coin was $4.95 with a fee of $4.95 for shipping and handling) via check # [redacted]. This package was shipped to [redacted]'s address on 7/27/2017.[redacted] states in his complaint that he keeps getting billing notices when he asked American Mint to send him no more billing statements. [redacted] further states that this matter was handled about three months ago and that payment information was faxed to American Mint at our fax number.[redacted] had tried to pay for the Beacon of Light coin using a credit card ending in #[redacted]. American Mint attempted to charge [redacted]'s credit card four times on 10/26, 11/2, 11/9 and 11/10 for the Beacon of Light coin. Every time American Mint attempted to charge [redacted]'s credit card for the Beacon of Light coin, the transaction was denied due to some deficiency with [redacted]'s credit card. We never received payment for the Beacon of Light coin.Per this complaint, we have processed [redacted]'s account internally as “A – Item Forgiveness.”[redacted] may keep the Beacon of Light coin. We have cleared [redacted]'s account balance. Enclosed is an account cleared letter.[redacted]'s subscription to the Statue of Liberty Anniversary Coin Collection Series and the Presidential Leadership Coin Collection Series were cancelled on 10/25/2017. We have removed[redacted] from our mailing list. Please allow up to 90 days for all advertisements to completely cease. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused [redacted]. Please let me know if you need anything further. Thank you for your assistance in settling this matter.Sincerely, Susan D Director of Client Services

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. (To close the account with a ZERO BALANCE)!The local post office did NOT confirm delivery! We did NOT RECEIVE the product. Nor did we ever order or approve shipment of a preview product! We ordered on the phone (as acknowledged and used a credit card for payment) The representative on the phone never stated we would recieve another product for preview. But customer service said we "checked a box" on a form! We did not use a "form" or order online.Thank you very much for your prompt assistance in this dispute. Sincerely, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:
As I've already stated several times, I did not receive the one additional coin in question. The company did ship the other coins I ordered. The company can show receipt of apackage, but again the only coins I've received were Donald Trump coins. I've senta payment via registered mail. I will be calling the company to confirm that they'veclosed my account, and honored my request to remove me from any and all futureoffers, email, phone, or other methods.

I am rejecting this response because: I did contact them by mail asking for them to remove from there mailing list last year. I have returned all there mailings with a letter telling them to remove me. They should be investigated for that publishing of Donald Trump on there mailings. It is miss leading. They never done show other presidents like that on the front of the mailings. If you like I can photo copy and send you this mailing. If more mailings come I will contact my states attorney generals office and report it to them. Thank you

Sincerely,Revdex.com Customer Service Team---------- Forwarded message ----------From: [redacted] Date: Tue, Jun 20, 2017 at 11:26 AMSubject: Revdex.com COMPLAINT #[redacted] / You have a new message from the Revdex.com of Metro Washington DC & Eastern Pennsylvania in regards to your complaint #[redacted].To: Revdex.com To: [redacted] / Revdex.com Ops Team Thank you for your 6/19/17 email below. Since submitting my 5/15/17 letter to the Revdex.com which is identified as the 5/19/17 Rebuttal document in this complaint, I had not received anything further from the Revdex.com which is why the 6/9/17 document from Patrick D[redacted], American Mint Legal Assistant is concerning and more importantly an absolute untruth. As you can see in my 5/15/17 letter, I did send the return package using the actual return label finally provided. Therefore, there should not be any balance due to be written off and would believe this action was not reported as a bad credit mark. Preposterous that once again the American Mint would simply state “we did not receive it” when, in fact, their very own return label was used. After submitting my 5/15/17 letter to the Revdex.com, I did not believe that there was anything further to respond to, in that, after reviewing Susan D[redacted]’s 5/10/17 letter in which each statement was a fabrication of the truth, I felt American Mint needed the $70.45 more than I so I just did not want to deal with American Mint any further submitting my 5/15/17 letter and leaving it at that. I would like to add that we still receive solicitation letters from the American Mint regarding their product and would like to get off their mailing list completely. I do want to express my sincere gratitude for the Revdex.com follow up and thank you for your professionalism.
