on 2/19/15. Another item, an Everlasting Grace necklace, was sent along inside the same package for preview with no obligation to purchase as it states on the order form in the American Mint Satisfaction Guarantee. Enclosed is a copy of this order form.We received a partial payment of $50.00 with check #[redacted] on 6/1/15 for the Everlasting Grace necklace. Final payment was received on 7/7/15 in the amount of $29.90 with check #[redacted]. Thus, the "Everlasting Grace' collection continued by shipping out the Everlasting Grace Earrings on 7/9/15.On 8/12/15, we received a return of the Everlasting Grace Earrings. As this invoice was outstanding, the return reconciled that invoice. We also received a letter from [redacted] requesting a refund for the return of invoice #1. American Mint does not have record of the return of invoice 1, the Everlasting Grace ring and Everlasting Grace necklace. A letter was mailed to [redacted] advising that invoice 1 would not be authorized to be returned because it exceeded our return policy timeframe.[redacted] states that she returned all three items inside the same package, but American Mint only has record of receiving the return of the Everlasting Grace Earrings. However, American Mint has processed a loss for invoice 1. [redacted] can expect to receive a refund check in the amount of $89.85 ($9.95 via check #[redacted], $50.00 via check #[redacted], and $29.90 via check #[redacted]) in approximately two to three weeks. Enclosed is a copy of [redacted]'s account statement. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused [redacted]. Please let me know if you need anything further. Dear Ms. Cameron:I am writing in reference to [redacted]’s complaint. Please note that [redacted]’s account with American Mint was closed per American Mint policy on 2/27/2017 due to the fact that he had a previous demand loss, credit card disputes and a return loss with his American Mint account. I...
will address the relevant account history of [redacted] below.[redacted]s Demand Loss and Credit Card DisputesWe received an internet order from [redacted] on 10/4/2011 for a Princess Diana coin. We received a credit card payment of S104.90 (the coin was $99.95 with a $4.95 shipping and handling fee). This package was shipped to [redacted]’s address on 10/5/2011. [redacted] filed a credit card dispute on 12/16/2011. [redacted] states in his complaint that he filed the credit card dispute in early 2012 due to the fact that he did not receive the coins. On 1/11/2012, American Mint processed [redacted]’s account internally as a return loss. On 1/27/2012, American Mint received a return package from [redacted] gontaining, among other things, the Princess Diana coin. Accordingly, a refund in the amount of $104.90 was issued to [redacted]’s account. On 3/8/2017. [redacted] was issued a second refund in the amount of $104.90 due to him filing a second credit card dispute about this charge. Thus, [redacted] owed American Mint S115.40 (for the second S104.90 credit refund and S10.50 in late fees) as American Mint refunded [redacted]’s account twice totaling $209.80. On 7/17/2012, [redacted]s outstanding account balance was sent to a collection agency. On 10/4/2012, American Mint issued a demand loss in the amount of $115.40. [redacted]'s account balance was cleared at this time.[redacted]'s Return Loss fOn 12/29/2017, we received another introductory order form in the mail from [redacted] for a Pope Francis Coin. We never received payment for this item. (The coin was $29.95 with a $4.95 shipping and handling fee.) Another item, a Pius XII Coin was sent along inside the same package for preview with no obligation to purchase as it states on the order form in the American Mint Satisfaction Guarantee. This paragraph also states “You will be billed only for the items you decide to keep. If you pay by credit card, future shipments will not be charged until 25 days after the invoice date. You are under no obligation! If you are not satisfied with any item that isshipped to you, you may send it back within 20 days at our cost for replacement, creditor refund.'We do provide postage paid return labels upon request, as it states on the reverse side of our “Returns Information Form” enclosed in all of our packages. Our hours of operation, email address and toll free phone number are also located on this paperwork.Additionally, a Donald Trump - Battle Coin was also sent in the same package for preview. Please note that in addition to never receiving payment for the Pius XII or Donald Trump - Battle Coins, [redacted] also did not return the Pius XII Coin or Donald Trump - Battle Coin to American Mint. (The Pius XII Coin was $99.95 and the Donald Trump-Battle Coin was $4.95.)[redacted] states in his complaint that in very late 2016 or very early 2017 American Mint mailed [redacted] a set of coins that he never once ordered. [redacted] did place an order for the abovementioned items. Please advise [redacted] that he received the Pius XII and Donald Trump - Battle Coins for preview as a result of him not crossing off the American Mint Satisfaction Guarantee paragraph as directed on his order form. Since [redacted] kept these items beyond the 20 day free preview period, he was accordingly billed for them.[redacted] states in his complaint that he mailed back all of the unordered coins well packaged and sealed in two double bubble-envelopes and was assured that the coins had arrived safely and in good condition on 2/6/2017. On 2/16/2017, [redacted] spoke with an American Mint Customer Service Representative and stated that Pius XII and Donald Trump - Battle Coins had been returned on 2/6/2017. The invoice number associated with the Pius XII and Donald Trump - Battle Coins is Invoice H 11. On 2/27/2017, [redacted] left a voicemail with an American Mint Customer Service Representative. In the voicemail, [redacted] stated that he sent back the Pius XII and the Donald Trump - Battle Coins (Invoice # 11) along with coins associated with Subsequent orders he placed with American Mint. The American Mint Customer Service representative called [redacted] back and left a voicemail for him indicating that American Mint had received some of the items back for some of the orders, but that it had not received the Pius XII and Donald Trump - Battle Coins back. At this time, American Mint processed [redacted]’s account internally as a return loss and therefore cleared his account balance. (At the time, the balance on this particular order was $99.95 before it was cleared as a return loss.) At this time. per American Mint policy, American Mint also closed [redacted]’s account due to the previous demand loss, credit card disputes and the return loss. A refund was also issued at this time for the items he returned which were associated with the last two orders he placed with American Mint. [redacted] will be unable to place future orders with American Mint as a result of his account being closed.Weapologize for any inconvenience this may have caused [redacted]. Please let me know if you need anything further. Thank you for your assistance in settling this matter.Director of Client Services

I am rejecting this response because:[redacted] ...⇄ AMERICAN MINT through Revdex.com Their letter/statement dated 8.15.2017. Ref: ID No. [redacted]Dear [redacted]:Thank you for again forwarding me the letter/statement from American Mint. It’s heartening to note that the company has taken one more step toward correcting their stand and reducing their claim from $1322.55 (on 7/28/17 to $1005.20 (on 8/15/17). They, at last acknowledged my legitimate claims - though only partially - and mentioned $299.25 credit given to me as of 1/9/2017 - but I have yet to see that in my bank statement. I don’t know where it has gone, if given at all.American Mint has still not acknowledged the returned packets of coins that I did not order, and had written to them several times to NOT SEND ME ANYTHING UNLESS I ORDER. From 5/20/16 to 12/13/16 I returned 5 packets to American Mint (one was a combined pack of coins they sent separately – of course without my order.) These returned items have not been acknowledged and their claimed cost – charged to my credit card – has not been credited, so far.Returned items include: Pheasant knife ($59.95), 1905 $20 Washington coin ($89.95), 1840 Liberty Head Replica ($79.95), 1861 Paquet DBL. Eagle Arch. ($89.95), Liberty Bell ($85.90), Freedom (item [redacted] - $135.90) and 1890 Farragut ($99.95).Please note, I have mentioned earlier also, that I have not placed any high-cost order (except one, and I have paid for it) and still American Mint dumped these other costly un-ordered and unwanted things and charged my credit cards for which I am still paying interest to the bank. I hope this matter would be resolved speedily taking into account my submission. Thanks and regards.[redacted]

This package was shipped to [redacted]'s address on 3/23/15. Another item, a Boston Tea Party commemorative coin, was sent along inside the same package for preview with no obligation to purchase as it states on the order form in the American Mint Satisfaction Guarantee. Enclosed is a copy of this order form.We spoke with [redacted] on 5/12/15. During this conversation, he advised that he returned the Boston Tea Party coin on his own accord approximately two weeks prior. We advised that we must allow four weeks for receiving and processing of returns and urged him to wait two more weeks before contacting us for further account reconciliation. We also cancelled the “The Birth of our Nation” commemorative coin collection. We did not speak with [redacted] again until 8/11/15. At this time, we advised that we still had not received the return of the Boston Tea Party. We mailed [redacted] a return loss form which states that the package was returned. Upon receipt of this form with [redacted]'s signature, we would reconcile the outstanding invoice. We spoke with [redacted] on 8/26/15 in which he stated that he never received the return loss letter that we mailed. Another letter was mailed to [redacted]. As of today, American Mint has not yet received this completed return loss letter. A manual return loss has been processed which has reconciled [redacted]'s account. We do not have the payment that [redacted] references but when it is received, the check payment will be returned to [redacted] with a letter advising that the account is settled. Enclosed is a copy of [redacted]’s account statement. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused [redacted]. Please let me know if you need anything further. Thank you for your assistance in settling this matter.Susan D.Director of Client Services
