Our sub-contracting delivery company came to this customers house around 9:but called the customer first and customer allowed them to deliver at this timeDelivery brought everything except the mattresses The customer threw a fit and demanded they receive their mattresses THAT SAME NIGHT so the delivery people went back to the store, store manager unlocked and opened the store and the delivery crew picked up the mattresses and around 1:came back to the customer house upon calling customer first....and the mattresses were delivered as requested and demanded! OUR DELIVERY CREW REPORTED TO OUR CORPORATE OFFICE THAT THIS CUSTOMER WAS EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE, THREATEN THEM, TOOK THEIR PHONE AND THREATEN TO KEEP IT IF THEY DID NOT DELIVER ALL THEIR FURNITURE, CUSTOMER WAS SO FOUL AND FREIGHTENING OUR DELIVERY CREW WILL NOT GO BACK TO THIS HOME! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE GIVEN HERE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOUND CONSIDERING THE FACTORS/BEHAVIOR DISPLAYED BY THIS CUSTOMER AMERICAN FREIGHT WILL NOT REFUND....OUR SALES ARE FINAL, WHICH IS STATED ON ALL OUR CUSTOMER RECEIPTS AND ALL OUR SIGNS OVER ALL OUR COUNTERS
Our Regional Manager called this customer and asked her to send pictures for the warranty claim He said he has never been able to get ahold of [redacted] , but spoke to her husband We received the pictures today and we have sent in the warranty claim Regional Manager is allowing a reselection
The customer came in on Sunday asking for a refund on the mattress set that was purchased by their fatherI asked them if it was still in the plastic and they said noShe starting saying the mattress is way to small and they needed something thickerI told her I would not be able to take back the mattress set but what I can do is give some money off a thicker mattress to solve the issueShe said this a bait and switch where you just get people into the storeThe customers daughter started getting very upset and started to tell other customers not to buy anything in the storeanother customer turned to her and said I love American Freight and I buy all my stuff hereThat made her more upset and I had to ask her to step outsidewhich she would notPlease explain to this customer that if she wishes to come back into the store she must be respectful or American Freight will not do business with this customer Please note this is not the customer who is on the receipt

This customer was delivered yesterday American Freight apologized for any inconvenience This customer received a brand new sectional which originally the purchased a floor model

It isn't about how many times you have called or placed claims....it is about the approval or denial of a claimAF shows a claim WAS MADE WITH PICTURES SENT BY CUSTOMER AND WAS DENIED BY THE MANUFACTURER NOT AMERICAN FREIGHT The so called "corporate lady" never would call anyone a liar and did explain to this customer TIMES OVER every detail but she would not listen, customer know this!! Our sales people in the store explained to her that if her claim was approved we would offer free up grade on this mattress but her claim was denied!! Because customer shops frequently at AMERICAN FREIGHT that "corporate lady" has marked her records for a %discount on a replacement on anything else in the store PLEASE TAKE NOTE: AF HAS ALL THE RECEIPTS FROM THIS CUSTOMER AND NOT ONE SHOWS AN EXTRA WARRANTY BOUGHT WITH THIS PURCHASE OF MATTRESS AND BOX SPRING....PLEASE HAVE CUSTOMER BRING IN THIS RECEIPT THAT DOES SHOW THIS EXTRA WARRANTY BOUGHT FOR THIS MATTRESS AND BOXSPRING...AND THEN HAVE HER CALL THAT WARRANTY COMPANY AND PLACE A CLAIMTHAT IS WHAT A CUSTOMER DOES WHEN THEY BY AN EXTRA WARRANTY ON MERCHANDICE THEY WANT EXTRA PROTECTION ON THEY CALL THE COMPANY THE WARRANTY WAS BOUGHT FROM
the replacement pieces when received are also shoddy quality The ottoman is broken and he been since they delivery men set it up If this is how they choose to deal with a customer this is very poor professionalism My fiancé had to miss a whole day of work because they couldn't be bothered to give us a specific time when itd be delivered I can provide pictures with time stamp of when they were taken if need be Also I still haven't received any type of apology for the "manager" telling us that he was doing a favor when I can also provide proof we purchased a warranty, which wouldn't be him doing Us a favor it would be him upholding the warranty we purchased I'd hate to have to contact corporate and media outlets to advertise the shoddy condition of the furniture and how this company treats its customers This Has been the worse ordeal I've ever had to go through for a warranty replacement of anything
The refund has already been submitted and we will put a rush on it to day to process a refund and it has only been days
OUR LAYAWAY POLICY STATES: "American Freight does not represent to hold the merchandise at the sale location once the account is opened but will guarantee the priceWe request a minimum of for weeks notice prior to pior delivery of your merchandise to ensure your order is in stock" As with any merchandise sold in any store all purchase must be paid in full in order to take homeIf the customers purchase is not in stock of time of paid in full we have weeks to get it in stock or customer is refunded This customer has been refunded and we apologies that this customer did not understand our layaway policy!

Our records DO SHOW a pick up and the pick up form was signed also using this customer name American Freight shows proof of pick up---A Signature of [redacted] American Freight has a signature of this customers name If the customer claims she did not sign she must prove this fact.....we have her name, picking up her purchase!

This customer purchased her mattress in April Too much time has elapsed after purchase allowing the environment to be exposed to anything American Freight sprays their warehouses monthly to always keep a clean and healthy environment All of our mattresses come factory sealed from the manufacturers and we have not had any type of contamination issue We would be happy to provide the manufacturer's information if she would like to contact them
