When a customers complaint is of such revenge.....this shows the public what kind of person Susan, Thomas and Duane had to deal withWhen a customer starts out on the phone screaming foul language at you, becomes so aggressive and frightening you must let go of the call and this customer still continues to repeatedly call the store and corporate office repeating the same behavior...this shows the public what kind of person Susan, Thomas and Duane had to deal withThis customer was given a $discount on her deal and this customer received a free lamp (NOT CHEAP LAMPS) though this was not mentionedThis customer had delivery twice not three timesThe first delivery our sub-contracting delivery team brought in the wrong piece, the second was a morning delivery, requested by customerThis customer never answered her phone for the delivery team after being called times by the store and corporate office so our deliver team went onSusan, Thomas and Duane were able to get our sub-contracting delivery team to go back out that same afternoon and at 2:and her correct furniture was deliveredSPECIAL NOTE: Ms [redacted] never answered her phone for this delivery ether but our delivery team went to her house anyway where her children were home and she was not, though told us she wasI Susan say Ms [redacted] was very much helped, treated fairly and was given extra customer service, $off and a free lamp, mistakes happen but American Freight rectified it, did all they could and gave more!! This complaint should actually show the kinds of customers we must deal with from time to timeAMERICAN FREIGHT DOES NOT DEAL WITH VENGENCE AND WE WISH NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH MS [redacted] AGAIN!!

Thank you [redacted] for responding to meI tried to respond on the Revdex.com but I could not do itAttached you will find some of the pictures of the mattress buckling from the side viewIt is quite interesting that I sent mattress pictures of the mattress and the box springs but they continuously are talking about the box springs Susan knew that I was talking to her regarding the dips in the mattresses and buckling I sent two pictures of the box spring foundation and pictures of the mattress which was quite some time agoI never heard from them that's why I did not respond but the mattresses I have sent several pictures to them regarding this situationI just want some resolved I want some better mattressesIf you go online you will see that they have hundreds maybe a few thousands of complaints regarding there Stewart Hamilton mattress that they make which is a American Freight product

This customer received everything except the bed frame, mirror and dresser...manufacturer had delivery problems Immediately American Freight apologized, offered a free $upgrade to another piece bed set which did not contain the nightstand....nightstand is $ ea Please note: this customer received a $discount on their original order and a $fee for the inconvenience American Freight feels they have given fair options and if customer wishes to buy the nightstand we can make her a good deal

Our VPresident spoke to this customer, he offered to exchange it for whatever size they need and eating the difference if they needed a queen The customer didn't have enough money to buy the mattress, so before they left the building I offered them a discount so they could afford to buy this They we very happy I took care of themThe policy they are reading is the layaway policy not the "all sales are final policy"REFUND/RETURN POLICYIf you place merchandise in layaway you may cancel your layaway within the first ten days and be issued a refund Additionally, if your layaway has been paid in full and you do not receive your merchandise within four weeks of your final payment, you are entitled to a full refund Items sold as a discounted package can only be returned as a complete set - a receipt is required for all returns and exchanges If you paid for your purchase in cash, refunds will be issued via corporate check only and can take to business days to arrive

I was contacted by American Freight earlier this monthThey said that they would send to me a very nice lamp and the person would take a look a repairing the table legAmerican Freight did admit to dropping the ball....and wanted to fix the errorHowever, I did receive the lamp but I have the repairs completed by my neighbor I am grateful for your helpThanks

I purchased several rooms of furniture at the end of April for our new apartment for our wedding in June So, during May and June the furniture was not usedIn September, I noticed a tear along the seam of the cushion near the leather trim I immediately contacted the warranty company They indicated that the warranty did not cover seams, as it was a manufacturer issue So, I then called American Freight, and they also agreed that it was a manufacturers issue and they would take care of it They gave me an email to send pics......email is [redacted] It took several tries and a few weeks before the email was accepted That was at the end of Octor beginning of Nov I have not heard anything and have no way of communicating with them

This customer has been refunded He wanted us to do the refund over the phone with his credit card but American Freight will not do that for security reasons, he was explained this several times and refused to accept this Customer came into the store and had his card swiped and then demanded compensation because he had to drive to our store.CUSTOMER HAS BEEN REFUNDED AND WILL RECEIVE NO COMPENSATION FOR AN AMERICAN FREIGHT POLICY THAT MUST BE DONE FOR A CREDIT CARD REFUND

I bought a sofa and love seat from American Freight with the “Guardian Value Plan ($99.95) on April In December approximately the 3rd week, I called American Freight and informed them that my sofa and love seat springs on the frame broke The customer service person I spoke with informed me that all I had to do is call the warranty vendor, and I when I call them American Fright had not filed my warranty with the warranty vendor I called back American Freight and told them that they had not filed my warranty with the vendor and the customer service person informed me that they were going to take care of it and it would take approximately days before the warranty paper work to be fixed and American Freight was going to call me back and let me know what was going on Nearly ½ months passed and I haven’t heard anything from them So I went to American Freight which I purchase the furniture from and spoken to the new manager (Chance or Lance) and informed him of my comp

I visited the Peachtree Corners, GA location on 6/24/ I needed a bed to be delivered to my son in Blacksburg VA by 7/1/ The rep told me it couldn't be delivered until end of July I explained my son was moving into his new apartment on the 1st and my purchase was dependent on their ability to deliver the furniture by that date or soon after The rep called the Roanoke store and (according the rep) was informed they had the bed on order and would receive it in the next order They couldn't make the delivery by 7/but would have it delivered no later than 7/ I told them that was still too late and I wanted to check some other stores out before making a decision They discounted the delivery fee in order to get me to make the purchase As of 7/7, I still hadn't received a call about delivery I called Peachtree Corners and was left on hold so long I hung up When I called back they placed me on hold again I called Roanoke and was told they have no idea wh

American Freight's regional manager of the Tampa location is personally shipping the missing legs to the customer, and offers the customer a $refundThe regional has spoken with this customer to resolve this on 5/

Please advise this customer that the manufacturer has the order on a backorder and American Freight sincerely apologizesOur purchasing department show the PO is producing the first week of June and to arrive at the American Freight store by the late 2nd week of June

My husband and I purchased a pc sectional sofa from American Freight in [redacted] ** for $plus $for the Guardian Value year insplan on 02/24/ Soon after receiving it we noticed there was a manufacturing flaw in the one section in between where the back of the bottom seat cushions meet the bottom of the back rest cushionsIts kind of hard to explain but I did contact the inscompany and the store with photos and they said they would take care of it and that we will hear from themThat the inscodid approve it and still no wordWell we call numerous times with no resultsI want to exchange this set for something else but they also said I would have to pay another $delivery and pick up fee which I dont think I should have to pay again for shoddy workmanship of their merchandiseI believe they should waive this fee 100%

This customer had a delivery done by " [redacted] Delivery Services" out of the Dayton location The $delivery fee was paid by the customer to the subcontracted delivery company, not to American Freight The customers sectional they had originally chosen did not fit as it was too longThe delivery crew stated that they got the sectional into the front door and to the steps inside the home, but could not get it any farther into the home The delivery company was paid and advised the customer to go back to the store, reselect to a sectional that wasn't any longer than 7ft, and they would redeliver the new sectional for free The customer went back into the store and again chose a sectional that was actually longer than the [redacted] one The delivery crew called the customer before going out to her house again and let her know it would have the same issue, at this time it was the delivery owner Brian who was working that dealt with her when they calledAmerican Freight has already refunded this customer all monies that were paid by the customer to American Freight as the customer opted to not reselect again The delivery company stated they will happily make another attempt to deliver the customer at no charge, but this claim should be with the delivery company and not with American Freight

THIS IS WHAT OUR VICE PRES OF SALES ADVISED US: This customer left me a voicemail last night about this and I'll be calling her back this morningThis customer has had a bed for over year and there is NO warranty on itRegardless we still are swapping her out and she has been advised this by both the store manager and the regional managerThe bed is currently out of stock and we do not have a replacementWe are working on transferring it over from another location but it may not be until next week and she is demanding us to have it done within hours (of yesterday)According to my regional she got very loud and abusive on the phone with him stating she's going to have him and the manager both fired and she'll have me fired if I don't give her what she wants I'll be contacting her this morning about this and will keep you up to dateBut there was no warranty in place for her purchase and we are doing a courtesy exchange for her She called me backAnd hung up on me telling me I don't know what I'm talking about when it came to her "warranty"I'm still willing to take care of replacing the piece once another one becomes available as we had previously promised While she was explaining what was going on she did tell me she understood the half price re delivery even though she wasn't happy about it but she needed someone to get it to her We can't help her any further if she's going to continue to get mad at every person she's dealing with because it's not happening instantly and she's not being told what she wants to hear
