The purpose of this email is to provide feedback regarding my above-referenced complaint which I originally filed with your Revdex.com...
Central Texas office on 10/26/17. 1. My complaint against American Airlines (AA) originated on 08/25/17 and related to my requested refund from AA. 2. On 11/02/17, AA called me to acknowledge that they had finally decided to issue the requested refund to me. 3. On 11/06/17, AA issued the requested refund, thereby satisfying my complaint. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. Sincerely, [redacted]

I am...
rejecting this response because: it should not take TWO YEARS for a business to respond to a complaint through the Revdex.com. The temerity! Their customer service is awful, they don't accept complaint phone calls, and the one time they returned my email with a phone call the customer service representative was incredibly unprofessional and then hung up on me. So this TWO YEAR response time only surprises me because of the fact that they responded at all. So no, I do not accept this response from American Airlines. And actually, this has just upset me all over again.

I am rejecting this response because: The letters do not...
address all the problems we had with American Airlines. The connecting flights were not missed because of weather. There was rain, in Texas, on both the incoming and outbound flights, however, the reason we missed our connections was due to broken equipment on the aircraft. American Airlines refuses to acknowledge this. Please read my initial letter to customer service. It explains, in greater detail, the sequence of events that took place on February 20th and 24th. American Airlines continually implies it was not their fault, but the weathers fault, we missed our connections. This is not true. We would have made our connecting flights, each way, had it not been for their flights running behind and faulty equipment. I have attached my original letter. Please contact me if you have any further questions. Thank you for your time.

I...
have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this matter was resolved although not satisfactory. A day missed of pay for both my husband and I ($800), had to pay for hotel ($200) for the night, had to buy dinner and breakfast, had to buy diapers and food for our infant, and our $200 car seat was damaged by the airline for them to cancel the flight! The $200+ airline credit didn't even cover another flight.

I am rejecting this response because: This was what I originally rejected in the first place. They had the balls to send this again after 3 years. It was too late of a response 3 months after the incident let alone 3 years. When we were told we were screwed. In fact they were going to take even longer to get our bags back but they took care of it because they found out we might have medical equipment in them. This is absolutely terrible customer service. The only acceptable response from them would be to refund me the cost of the flight and since it was OUR luggage and not just MY luggage I would demand they refund my wifes ticket as well.

I am rejecting this response because:
I did NOT receive a credit for my $75.00 fee that was not my fault due to A.A. delays, etc.

I am...
rejecting this response because:My Issue was not resolved. American Airlines offered me travel vouchers, however, I vowed to never fly American Airlines again. I am still very upset about the way my husband and I were treated. If the airlines had offered me a reimbursement from what we had actually spent I would have taken their apology more seriously and considered giving them another chance.
