Affordable Dental Reviews (360)

I'm sorry that you feel we dropped your credit score through the car buying process.  When a customer comes in we run 1 credit bureau and send it to different lenders to try and get the most favorable financing on your behalf.  We don't have 36 lenders, we use 13 total.  And the way...

it works is that when we submit the application it is submitted as one hard inquiry with all soft inquires thereafter.  Now each lender can pull their own, but we have no authority to do anything with those.  We cannot remove any inquires since you signed a credit application giving us approval to find you financing.Nicole [redacted]

I'm sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused your daughter and yourself.  I contacted the Service Manager and the [redacted] of the dealership and they both thought that the Russ Darrow Gift Card had been sent to you.  After further review, you are correct...nothing ever...

went out.  As such, I have gone ahead and cut a check for $127.73 and will be placing this in the mail to you today.
Again, I am sorry if you felt we took advantage of your daughter, this is not how we conduct business.
Thank you for your consideration.

I have received the information from the dealership, and you did specifically authorize the them to run your credit.  I am attaching the credit bureau authorization that is signed by you.  As such, I will be unable to remove these inquires from your bureau.[redacted], Corporate Paralegal

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and I will accept a check for $150 made payable to me.

Thank you for providing the mileage.  I will have this cancelled and back dated to the total loss date.  Due to using all of the mileage under the warranty, you would still be liable for the payments.  I will not be refunding you any money due to the fact that you still owe money under the contract that you signed.  The contract could have been cancelled at any time by you, but it was not until the car was totaled and the mileage was already used that you decided to cancel the coverage.  I am sorry that you feel our sales staff had taken advantage of you or it was a high pressure sale, but this has never come to light in the past 3 years.Again, I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.[redacted], Corporate Paralegal

The warranty refund will be processed today and sent directly to your lender.  You should see a principal balance reduction within 10 days.Nicole P[redacted]Corporate Paralegal

The check was sent on or about April 27th and cashed by you on May 9, 2016.[redacted], Corporate Paralegal

I have reviewed your complaint and the online advertisement concerning the equipment on the vehicle and no where in the online ad did it state that the vehicle had a back up camera.  I am attaching the vehicle description that was online starting 12/29/2017.  The vehicle equipment was...

never changed after the initial upload in December of 2017.  If this was a necessary option for you, I would have hoped that you would have verified this before entering into a contract, possibly on a test drive of the vehicle, which is mandatory when anybody purchases a vehicle with Russ Darrow.I'm sorry that you feel we advertised this option, which we did not.  As such we will be unable to assist in providing the backup camera.[redacted], Corporate Paralegal

I'm sorry that you feel we are not taking care of your concerns properly.  However, Russ Darrow is an long standing Dealer Group who takes care of their customers and does things the right way.  The customers must take equal amount of time and energy picking out the vehicle that they will be signing a contract for.  Vehicles are sold as is with no implied or stated warranty.  There are certain characteristics of the vehicle that must be disclosed on the safety inspection.  The rust issues are not structural and therefore not a disclosure issue.  As for the electrical issue, this was not brought up at the time of sale or in the initial conversations with the dealership staff or [redacted] after the purchase.  This was brought up at a later date.  However, for this conversation it is a moot issue as you have already fixed it.  The original offer by [redacted] is still available.  That is, Russ Darrow will agree to split the difference with you on the roof and fender.  These are cosmetic in nature and do not pose any sort of safety risk.  This issue has gone on long enough, so if you would like to take us up on the 50% discount, please let me know by the end of day on May 19th otherwise we will be closing this matter. Also, thank you for providing your thoughts on how our management personnel should do business, I will pass the information on.[redacted], Corporate Paralegal

I'm sorry that you experienced major mechanical issues with a vehicle you purchased within a matter of a few months, however, we cannot determine when an issue will present itself.  This is the reason that we extend aftermarket warranties to our customers during the purchase of the...

vehicle.  With an out of state repair, Russ Darrow would have little to no involvement since we cannot diagnose or repair the issue.  The warranty is a available to any authorized shop nationwide.  The shop would have to make a claim through the warranty to see if it is a covered repair.  If they chose not to go that route your next recourse would be to submit the claim directly to the warranty company for possible reimbursement.  We do not own the warranty company and would not be able to get involved in that process since we did not do the repair.
The warranty company information should be located on the warranty contract that you received at the time of purchase.  I would call and start a claim for reimbursement through them directly.

You came into the dealership and signed a credit application giving us the authority to run your credit and try to find financing for you on a vehicle.  This is all part of the process.  As such I will be unable to remove any inquiries from your credit report.[redacted], Corporate...

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I'm glad to see the terrible service is throughout the entire company, and not just at that specific dealership.  Threatening me with a cancellation fee???  Ok, well I appreciate your "courtesy", however I received my refund today and I was charged some type of fee as it's short $40.At this point, Revdex.com, please feel free to close this complaint as unresolved on this business.  I NEVER want to deal with them again.  $700+ loss, including the $40 you shorted my refund, my lesson in never doing business with this company again.  Will be happy to share my experience to everyone I come in contact with.

Hello, I received the message about my case being closed due to inactivity on my part. I also read the message regarding getting my van diagnosed , but I moved and work full-time, so I was having a hard time finding someone to go with me. If I can have one more week, I will make an appointment for next Saturday to get my van diagnosed.

I received the reply from the company about the sliding doors. My alarm is now going off, for no reason. I really think there is something electrical wrong with this vehicle. But I can't afford to have them look at it again, just to tell me the warranty doesn't cover it because it's not an electrical issue. I called the service department and they said that without looking at it, they can't tell me for sure, but the door not latching, could make the alarm go off, but, the alarm just started going off and the doors haven't been latching since March or April. I know Russ Darrow is number one, but this is not sounding right to me. My battery hasn't died since 10/10. But I just bought a new one. Something doesn't sound right when I drive, but my guess is they will tell me my warranty covers nothing and I have to put more money into a vehicle I am already overpaying for. I'm just complaining. Thanks for listening.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution has been resolved.  I have read the response from the company.  This is the first time time I've ever been told that there was a credit.  I was under impression they still owed the $81 and I was never told it was a credit.  I am very disappointed that it took making a complaint on the Revdex.com for them to finally give me an answer.  I have been in contact with them since Feb. 26th.  If I would of known that there was a credit on the account this would have never been an issue.  Their customer service is horrible and there is no lack of action on their part.

The fact that they allow deceptiin and say its not adnormal in the industry is why carsalesman and dealerships have the reputaion they do cant trust them at all

I'm sorry that you feel the tires that are put on by the manufacturer are not up to par, however, the tires are a mid grade all weather with a large (85k) tread warranty.  We can offer to you a few different options to purchase, however, the tread warranties will be less than what you currently...

have.  For a mid grade all weather tire with a 50k tread warranty, it will run you about $450 plus tax.  For a mid/high grade winter tire with no tread warranty, this will run you about $515 plus tax.  If you do not feel these are good options, your only recourse is to call Kia Consumer Affairs directly as this is a design "flaw" of the vehicle, and they would be the only entity that would be able to potentially assist you.
Please let me know if you would like to set up an appointment to take advantage of one of the offers I relayed above.

I'm sorry that you don't feel we are helping you with this situation.  You purchased a used as is vehicle with no implied or stated warranty.  The issue you experienced with your vehicle came to light after you purchase the vehicle and not during the safety inspection.  There was nothing notated, stored engine codes, etc. to notate that there may be a issue with the vehicle.  We are only able to document issues with a vehicle when it shows a sign or symptom.  Just because there was a issue after purchase doesn't mean that we knew about it or that it was pre-existing.  Did you take the vehicle for a third party inspection before purchasing the vehicle?  We can only assist in the trade process, meaning, you would have to pick out a vehicle that you like and then negotiate the trade value of your vehicle.  If you are unhappy with those numbers you can choose to walk away.[redacted], Corporate Paralegal

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and while I am grateful they fixed what they did, the hassle and stress was less than satisfactory. I also disagree that the vehicle was inspected properly and fully from the start, and I can only hope there will be no further issues. Also after months passing by -  this resolution is the only possible option, and does not imply that I am satisfied with the results, because I feel I have no other choice after all this time, but to accept them.
