Company has not monitored location since May They know about equipment since December no attempt to repair
This office was closed and no power from May until December ADT kept billing for monitoringWhen power was restored, system showed communication fault customer service was told several times They have made no attempt to correct problem

I am not a customer of ADT Security, nor have I ever done business with themHowever, they constantly call me at home asking for someone who does not live hereThey call in excess of times per day, sometimes there is no one on the other end of the line To me, this constitutes telephone harassment I am currently on the FCC's "Do Not Call" List yet ADT's harassment has not abatedI have filed multiple claims on the Do Not Call List website and I have decided to file a Revdex.com Claim before contacting my local police department to stop the telephone harassment

Excellent customer serviceExpert Technician Shannon Mars came to my home on service ticket number XXXXXXXX and conducted a thorough inspection of my adt security system and was able to problem solve my issuesShannon was very courteous, respectful, and professional during his visit to my homeI would definitely recommend both ADT and this installer to my friends and families

My fees kept increasing every year to beyond new installs and without any equipment upgrades Eventually it seemed unfair that as a loyal customer I was paying more and more for less security equipment (bells and whistles) in place in my home so I decided I would be better off cancelling and being a new customer for another company or returning to ADT after a period of absence So now I have called and spoken to someone on different occasions over a month period Each time, I am told that my service will be cancelled and for some reason it was not processed correctly the previous time I called Each call takes me over minutes speaking to women who has a huge attitude Still my service has not been cancelled and I keep getting overdue notices At this point I will pay anything to just end this relationship Making it so difficult to cancel seems like a deceptive and unfair business practice

I've been a customer with ADT since and a sales Rep came to my house earlier this year to sign me up for upgraded servicesI was informed that this was a continuation....not a new saleI'm now moving and will not be requiring their services and I'm being told I need to pay the balance ($748.94) on the contract as I've not used the services for yearsI was transferred to a manager who didn?t pick up the phoneThe sales pitch was misleading and since I've been a customer since 2010, I'm not sure how this contract is considered a new contract and how I can be held to a three year contractThe ADT Customer Service Representative stated that if the new residents at my current address assume my contract then I won't be chargedI can't force people to assume a contract and frankly the video monitoring/pulse is not accessible on many occasions

ADT is trying to enforce a year contractI have a year lease on the premises and will not be renewing
There was an ADT security system in the building I am currently rentingWe took over payments from the landlord, in order to use the systemWe had a year lease, which is now ending and I will not be renewingADT is forcing me to pay a cancelling fee of 75% of the remaining contract, despite the fact that I am moving out of the house and cannot take the system with meAlso, I did not put the system in the house, my landlord didHow can I be liable for the cancellation when I don't have a choice but to cancel?

I have been with ADT for over yearsI have called them about times requesting to speak with a manager due to wanting to cancel services and never once got a call backLet me remind you that when I got a divorced and had to remove my ex husbands name off the account ADT decided amongst themselves that they were going to put me on another contractThough, it says in their system that the address that I live at has been with them for over yearsI would never recommend this company to anyoneThey have horrible customer service and only care about the moneyThey are now telling me that I have to pay to cancel and won't honor the fact that I have actually been with them well over yearsI work in the customer service industry, and never once would the company that I work for treat anyone the way that they have treated meNever onceI will be contacting my lawyer on thisBeware to the rest of you on using ADT Security Services

Pulse system not meeting expectations I feel I was cheated by the sales team
My pulse system doesn't not record on motion as its setup to do so It records when it wants and when I need it to it seems to fail I also called to have an additional camera installed and the company canceled on my twice I'm unsatisfied with the performance and security of the system and would like out of the remaining contract

Customer service is horribleADT sends a letter saying they need to upgrade the cell phone on our systemThey cancel times after waiting for them over 1-hours each timeCustomers take time off from work to wait for the service to completed and the work never gets doneInstead of giving a narrow time window they give you a hour window

Pick a different company if you want good customer service I was a customer of ADT for years When I saw an ad for another "top security company in America" I decided to call ADT to see if they could get me the same touch screen panel and price that I saw advertised I was told they could get me the panel for almost $and not do anything to match the monthly fee I told the representative that I was going to shop around for a better deal and was told to have a nice day After finding a better deal with a better company I called to cancel my ADT service (not the easiest thing to do even though I wasn't under a contract) The gentlemen I spoke with asked why I was cancelling, I told him why, he asked what equipment I was getting from their competitor and I told him which his response was "you're stupid if you switch to that panel" I've been with the new company for months now and they have won my business for the next years or more ADT used to be #but they have some tough competition now

In I obtained an alarm system for my home When I obtained ADT I was planning on keeping them for a whileHowever I lost my job in February On January 14th I contacted ADT and advised them that we would be relocating because of my job loss and because of my job loss we were losing our home ADT's response was well you can transfer your serviceI advised them that we would be relocating to another state and would be renting so that was not an option I was then advised that I would have to pay an early termination feeI could not understand thatNo where in their contract does it state that if the contract is on the person and not the property and nowhere in the contract is there a moving clause Yes their contract states that if I cancel the contract during the initial year term I will have to pay 75% of the remaining total monthly service charges But me not being able to pay was out of my control I did not sell my home and move some where else I lost my jo

I am a longtime, loyal customer of ADT and have enjoyed several years of stellar service-until nowI am a Senior, and feel as if the Sales Rep took advantage of my age and discriminated against me
I contacted ADT on 5/30/and spoke with a Sales Rep named MikeI explained that my patio door (which has a wireless alarm) was being replacedI inquired if I could remove the alarm myself or if a Tech was required; wasn't certain if I was permitted to touch their (ADT) equipmentMike stated that a Tech was required because the central alarm box in my house would have to be rerouted to bypass the wireless being removedHe explained there would be a charge going/coming of $TOTALI wasn't happy about the charge, disputed it, got no where and was forced to acceptThe entire conversation, Mike was arrogant and condesce

My father passed away June I sent a death certificate and a signed letter stating the service would not be renewed and to cancel as of Oct 28th at the end of the paid invoice periodI have spoken with ADT timesEach time I'm given the runaround and the service is still not canceledAs of Nov I called again and again given the runaround, but the service is still not canceled

This company is the worseFirst I got the service it was never disclosed that I was being monitored through a 3rd partyI never spoke with ADT again after the installation because now some company called defenders took overWhen I got ready to move I was told twice to leave my equipment and that I would receive the same equipment at the new residenceWell needless to say when I moved the rep came out told me that when you move you have to sign a new contract run my credit again and the equipment they told me to leave lol received no where near the equipment I had before!! They told me the new contract is for 3yrsWhen I called customer service the manager refused to speak with me on the phone said that there was nothing they could doI kept getting the run around every time I called so I canceled the service of course they made sure to tell me that I'm responsible for 75% of the remaining contractAt this point I really didn't careI would never waste my money with ADT nor recommend the service they are a rip offI am completely happy with the company that I have now and have way more products and features!!

Went with ADT because of all the positive feedback we hardWorst decision, it's been nothing but a headache since we've had it installedFirst the guy who installed it did something wrong so adt had someone else come out to fix itThen we had weeks, yes FIVEWhere the alarm would go off in the middle of the night every night for minutesAnd every night id call and they would ask me to read the error and say it'll be fixed by tomorrowFinally after me calling every time for weeks straight they sent someone outGuy came out to fix the issueLeft my system worse than when he got thereNever reset up our cameraAdt sent another technician out the next dayHe fixed the system and had us up and running, but little did we know it was temporaryNow we've gone just over weeks without our system working properlyOur pulse logins do not work they say we're not active on pulse, yet ADT takes our $a month for the system that we can't even use!!! Called and they said they would send someone out on the 4th of JulyI kind of chuckled like someone would come out in a holidayI waited and waited between 8-no one cameI even sat in our front yardThe next morning when I went to leave there was a note saying they had come between XX-XXXXam I'd love to know where this imaginary person came to and how they got around me sitting outside by my door! Then I called again and the representative said she'd have someone call me backWaited a week no callWent online to get help, another week no oneFinally my husband, who never called got an email saying to call to schedule a maintenance service to see about our systemSo now we've paid for about months of service that we haven't been able to use activelyDO NOT GO WITH ADT, BEWARE THEY DONT WANT TO HELP RESOLVE ISSUESTHEY DONT COME WHEN THEY SAY THEY ARE& THE TECHNICIANS HAVE NO IDEA IF THEYRE COMING OR GOINGPs I'm writing this as my alarm goes off in the middle of night as it's back to doing because it has no radio signal

ADT is the worst company I have dealt with in a very long timeThey lied to me about what services they could provide, tried to down grade my system and charge me to do it, charged my account without providing any services, and when I chose to go elsewhere they cancelled my service with the new company without my knowingThey are impeding on my choice for home protection and the safety of my family
