*** *** I never claimed that the base was damaged or defective. I bought it with the assurance that it would be attached to my headboard, which they have been unable to accomplish. None of the statements made by Ashley in their reply dated 12/27/2016 regarding " refund of delivery fee, additional compensation and retail location scheduling a technician to inspect the base" have been honored. I have never dealt with any business that was so corrupt and fraudulent

Thank you for assisting me with in this matter however I did agree that I would be satisfied with the refund however the amount they sent me was not the correct amount I paid $they sent me a check for $they still owe me $I'm not sure where they got the amount from but I can provide the check that I originally paid for my merchandise plus delivery

Our retail location has indicated that after a closer look into the situation, the original chargeback from the credit card company had been reversed in the system. The retail location has left a message for Timecca to return their call so that they can complete the remaining refund. I selected Ace Electric b/c they were a Revdex.com accredited businessI could not have been happier with their serviceThey were able to work in a same day service call and worked with me to find a time to comeThey advised me about the options I had for my problem, gave me time to decide which course of action to takeThey also do HVAC and security system work which I will absolutely use in the future!

After review of Ms*** claim, we have reached out to upper management at the Corporate Office, and Ashley Furniture is standing by the offer of $in store credit to go towards a new purchase of furnitureThe amount that is offered is not to replace the furniture, but to help cover the cost for new furnitureAshley Furniture feels that this is more than fair offer, due to Ms*** is outside the manufacture warranty Any furniture that is altered after it was manufactured will void out the warrantyIf Ms*** alters the sofa to a sofa sleeper that will void the warranty on that piece of furniture In regards to not getting a response to the email that was sent in from Ms***, is due to the email address that Ms*** sent to is just for our Corporate Office to receive photos that we request from our customersIt is not for corresponding back and forth Regards, Ashley Furniture Industries, IncCorporate Office SK

Our retail location offered to remove the canopy but MrJ*** declined. Our retail location also offered to assist with purchasing a new light fixture so he could keep the canopy as they claim the canopy hits the ceiling fanOur Customer Service Manager personally assisted with the assembly of the bed and noted that the ceiling fan does not hit the canopy.
