I'm very satisfied with this company - very competent - reasonable prices - nice customer service

I never heard of 1&Internet Inc nor have I ever done business with them They claim I owe them money but like I said, I never did any business with them They recently sent me to a collections agency for their fraudulent charges

I used 1&Internet for my business and it was easy to sand works great for my business So when my peers from a youth program I help to run asked me to sa website for youth program, I recommended 1&Internet even though they wanted to [redacted] .com 1&Internet advertises a referral program so I thought I would try it since I convinced the youth program to use 1&Internet I sthe new [redacted] and instead of them creating a new account for it, 1&Internet added to my existing business account, even thought the billing information was completely different When I called them about it, they told me there would be a fee to transfer it to a new account and never answered my questions about the referral program So then I spent many hours creating the new website for our youth program only to find out that the URL for the site was different than the new [redacted] , very confusing I called and spent about an hour on the phone to get it fixed so when yo

I've been with 1andfor several years(Customer ID: [redacted] ) They've been hosting a large number of domain names for meJust recently, I decided to drop a few namesI've done this in the pastI opted out of payment using the auto renewal feature by switching it to 'off.' I've been getting charged for these namesWhen I talked to them I had to speak with their "cancellation team" which wasn't aroundI spoke with the billing team and asked why this was happeningI'm not incompetent and know what needs to be done and how to navigate, they had no idea how to resolve thisFinally spoke with the cancellation team and was giving instruction via email with the subject heading Re: [redacted] I returned the bulk cancellation email on March 13th and have not heard from them since to acknowledge that this is being taken care ofI do however keep getting billed from themI never sat down and taken time from my life to complain about anything till nowThese guys have horrible customer

Someone opened an account using my credit card with 1&Internet and I called them and told them I did not authorize thisThey said I had no proof and continued to bill my accountI turned to Mastercard and issued a dispute&fought the chargeback every step of the wayThis started back in June of Finally today November 7, 1&Internet finally closed my accountI had to talk to someone in the the Philippines and they finally closed my accountI still had to pay hundreds of dollars for an account I never set up , authorized or usedWhen I explained that to 1&they said it did not matter if I ever used or logged into the account but that since they had my credit card number and info I was responsibleI see tons of complaints about 1&IONOS online and think you should be very careful dealing with themAlan T

I ordered a hosting package and a domain name from this company days ago and have not gotten any type of email with information on what I orderedThe domain name I wanted still says availableThe money was taken out of my bank account alreadyI tried calling the company and was put on hold for too long so I had to hang upThe only other place I was able to get assistance was twitter, but they just keep saying they are looking into itThey don't know how long this will take to get resolved and are refusing to give me a refundI submitted proof that money was taken out of my bank account by the company so I should be getting a refund if they can't provide the service

I was targeted after buying a discounted promotional offer for a domain nameA sales rep called immediately after purchase to upsell me on additional services which I never verbally agreed to After seeing the charges the next day I contacted 1&to dispute and remove additional unauthorized charges and services They never responded or refunded money I had to dispute with [redacted] to get my money backI was charged multiple times for random amounts After winning the [redacted] dispute I was threatened by 1&to pay the money they lost in the dispute or they would confiscate my domain name My business domain name was locked after paying a developer $to build the site which had trademarks and logos which would only work for the specific domain name 1&has threatened to send my account to third party collections for winning a [redacted] dispute for unauthorized charges 1&has also failed to produce verifiable verbal recordings of my agreeing to any upsell servi

This company will automatically renew your contract and bill you without the ability to discontinue the contract before the renewal dateAnd unlike other services, where if they don't get their money upon renewal, they close your account and cancel your service, and will charge you regardless and threaten to send you to collections if they don't receive itThough some would say this isn't a bad thing, it IS when they will not let you cancel the renewal of the contract before the due dateDepending on the service (in my case the MyWebsite Plus package) they've made the option unclickable, and getting through customer service is nearly impossibleWorst yet, they will send you to collections ASAP with no other recourse than to pay their balance, even when you've attempted to cancel I have made numerous attempts to get 1andto cancel the contract and expunge the invoice since December 14, I will never suggest this company for this and will warn anyone looking for web hosting about this companyThese people are trying to rob me blind and they won't give me any other recourse$is what they're trying to steal from me, and they'll try to force it out of you if you sign up with them

I signed up for webhosting in December I struggled setting up my website for months 1andCustomer service ignored most of my emails and when they did respond, the help was minimal and there was no followup Finally, after months of paying for poor service, I decided to cancel the hosting The "Cancel Contract" button within my account does nothing The "Status of your cancelations" page shows "no current cancelations." I was, however, able to click off the "automatic renewal." When I did so, I started receiving solicitation emails from other companies, so obviously they sold my information to third parties without my permission When I called their customer service number, the attendent told me that there was a minimum 12-month contract and that it's impossible to cancel I was not aware of this at the time I signed up or anytime during the past months I wasted my money with this company and I just want out of the contract

I cancelled my service in I received a cancellation email a few days laterToday I get a call from a collection agency saying I owe over $to 1andI was on prepaid service and I paid for months usage and then cancelled at the end of monthsSome how they are trying to Bill me for months more, even though I cancelled my serviceI have not received any emails or mail stating that I owe any money

I have used & since and never had one bad experienceAs a matter of fact I just had an interaction with an account manger, as I wanted to change a billing from yearly to monthlyAs been my experience it was handled in one phone call and I just now received an email confirmation of the billing changeI don’t generally post reviews but I thought I would share my experience in this matter as I have seen so many bad reviewsI don’t work for the company I build websites full time and have used three other hosting companies in the past and still need to work with other hosting companies for my clients that do not host with me so I have a fairly good range of experiences with hosting companiesI have over domains but I do not use 1andfor their domains as I get them at a better price elsewhere so all I use is their hostingSince 2011, I have had over websites hosted with 1&and currently over running liveFirst pricing (stars); for the products I use, I have found that over all 1andis the same or sometimes a better deal in the long run then the othersAnd I have looked around a lot (and still do)Many features at 1&have no charge but other companies do For example something as simple as domain forwarding is free at 1&but other companies I know charge for that additionally sub domains are free at 1and (as many hosting companies provide subs for free) but I have seen (years ago) one of my clients companies charge for sub domainsSecond customer service (starts); As for the sales people, I never get calls trying to up sell me it may be as I have contracts with them, I’m not sure (note Google Ads call once a month)As far as billing again never had an issue if I need to make a change they do it and if they need to credit me they do right awayThird technical support (stars) ; Always been the best for any hosting company I have usedOver the years things have happen that I don’t understand (mostly PHP or database related)Never had issues with HTML but Word Press can be great or a nightmareI have called the tech reps for help and been on the phone way over an hour while figure out what is wrong with my product (not theirs)They have made code suggestions and gone into my database and reconfigured it as to get my site working againWhen I have worked with other hosting companies for my clients I never have had the same level of helpAnd last, sever up time (stars) ; since only one time the server went down (that I know of - I'm sure there were more), they contacted me and it happened during a switch overI do wish the servers I use were faster (stars) to get the faster server is another product that I do not wish to pay for but in general the other companies offer the same speed for the same price, I would just like to see it faster for the same priceLast I have four clients that I have recommended 1andas a hosting providerThree are still with them and one is notThe one that left is with a Webbly type company (he wanted a simple solution he could work himself without me but he hosts his email with me at 1and1)He mentioned to me that the tech people were Indian and he couldn't understand themI think the real issue was (as I know him pretty well) he didn't have an understanding of the product or what it did or how to even upload to the server which is why he is in a simple web product now the fact that the tech people had an accent was an easy outI talk to the tech people all the time without issueThat’s it I know other people may have bad interactions but I have not
