I called and spoke with a customer service rep about a contract called 'List Local Basic' that I wasn't aware of and realized that I was being billed for monthlyHe saw that I never activated the service and told me to email [email protected] to request a refund which I did and I never heard backI'm not sure how this contract got added to my account (even by accident) because the timing isn't correlated to any of my domainsI decided to file a complaint with Revdex.com because I had a feeling that it was not an honest mistakeNeedless to say, I never utilized or set up the 'List Local Basic' but sure got charged for it

Was charged an amount automatically and had account cancelled outWas told I would be getting a 14.99$ refund within daysI received an email from the company stating it was within daysDay I called in and was then told it would be 7-days Called in on day and was told to "wait a few more hours" After about or calls with customer service, a ticket was "escalated" with responseThe business practices associated with & internet are not tolerableHearing a different "story" each time I call shows complete lack of training and protocol I just want my refundSure it's only but it's the simple principal of it

1andInternet suspended my website, www[redacted] .com over an unauthorized charge on my account which was previously disputed and resolvedFor several billing cycles they have attempted to debit my bankcard, for some service that I neither needed or wanted from the companyAt first they charged me for two domains I cancelledThen they tried to charge me for antiviral softwareThe last is a local listingThe provide a convoluted control panel which does not work, and use this to add unwanted charges to accountsThat is their ammoNow they are trying to hijack my dotcom domain because I refused added costsSpeaking their customer service has proven ineffectiveI want them to stop unauthorized charges and activate my website!

This company has continuously had issues with billing my prepaid debit card, which I use to prevent fraudulent withdrawals from my bank account They will send me an email stating that they cannot bill the card and asking me to update my payment details When I login and make sure that the card is correct, I can see in my online account for the debit card that they do a $authorization for the card This tells me that they indeed do have the card information correct The account ALWAYS has enough money to cover their charges I never see that they attempt to charge the card for charges, and then I get another email telling me that they can't charge the card I login once again and complete the process once again This week, they cancelled a domain and website that I have for a client and then subsequently CHARGED the debit card for the amount that they said that they could not charge My client's website and domain are gone I called *customer service [redacted] and was told tha

I have two domains registered with 1&that are set to expire on 5/28/and 5/29/Today is 5/27/at 4pm1&decided to cancel both domains todayWhen I go to each domain in a web browser I receive a message stating that the domain has expiredWhen I called to make a payment the person on the phone could not explain why the domains were cancelled day and days before the expiration dateThe best she could come up with was that they start cancelling early because they want to make sure the domain is cancelled at midnight of the cancellation dateShe could not explain why both domains were already showing as cancelledAs a result, both my domains can't be accessed, even though I paid before the expiration date

I received a single notice demanding payment for services I never contracted for nor receivedThe business used my old address and did not have the correct salutation I do not know if this is a scam, but I do not owe them money If they attempt to or manage to put derogatory statements on my credit report that will be unacceptable

This company offered me a hosting package and I checked out with no problemsWhat I did not realize is that they did not take out the payment when I placed the order and they did not say ANYTHING about this factI waited nearly a full week before they sent me an email saying my invoice did not processSo I attempted to change my billing information to re-trigger the paymentThat did not workSo I called support and I told them to push a paymentThey said they did but that payment took two full days to show upDuring that time I was attempting to build something on my new hosting, and came into some issues that I needed the support team's assistanceThey did not even know WHAT I was asking forI decided to cancelSo I attempted to use the "cancel contract" instructions in my account, but all I got there times was an "oops" message that page cannot be displayedThen support called me trying to help further with support, but I told them No, please just cancel my accountThey said "only the cancellation department can do that." I was at work and I said, just mark it in your notes, I don't have time right nowI am at work and have to get back to work nowThen I sent an email to he cancellation department and told them I want to cancelThey said they can't do it by email so call this number 24/I called this morning to try to cancel and the lady who answered said the cancellation department is closed right now you have to call backOverall this is very fishy to me and I would like to warn people about this negative experience I am havingI have to go to my bank and refute this charge

I cancelled my account with 1&Internet several months ago, but I received delinquency notices dated 09/14/and 09/19/2016, which I received at the same timeI called to correct the issue and was assured that my account and past due amount were both cancelled(I have a case number for this call.) I received another delinquency notice from 1&dated 09/28/This one stated that my account was pending collectionsI called again and was assured yet again that both my account and past due amount were being cancelled, though neither had actually been cancelled at this point(I have a case number for this call as well.) Most recently, I've received yet another delinquency notice dated 10/03/2016, again stating that my account is pending collectionsAs of the writing of this message, I am planning to call 1&again in a few minutes, but I'm not holding out hope that the issue will be resolved without a third party

I opened a contract with 1andfor a virtual cloud serverAfter a week my account was closed without noticeI callled 1and(after my angry clients called me) and they said they didn't know why it was canceled since the department that canceled my account is on holiday

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a hosting company in my over years of building websitesThis company lost my web files, cost me business, and wasted my timeI would NOT recommend using this company After being told that all of my web files were deleted do to their error in my contract closing, I’ve had to completely rebuild my website from scratchI have gone back and forth with customer service and I keep getting the same cookie-cutter responseThey will not admit they this was an error on their part Additionally, they messed up on my billing last month and only provided a partial refund Now they are dragging their feet in approving my domain transfer which is continuing to cost me businessI’ve transferred several domains and never had it take this long Don’t waste your time or money on this shady company

I had two domain names with 1and Apparently these were set to autorenew, but I removed any payment information because I no longer want or use the services Have not actively used these services in months They are attempting to charge me that covers services through may of 2017, I no longer wish to retain their services They are also attempting to charge me an dollar late fee, for not paying for services that I do not wish to retain Their is no direct way to cancel on their website, and it is unclear on their website how to remove the automatic paymentsI went to their help section and could not figure out how to do it Their confusing website actively makes it hard to cancel accounts, then they collect on automatic payments and/or excessive late fees

I used 1&to register a domain name They got my [redacted] billing information when I paid for that Later I got a telemarketing call from them offering me a trial of their webhosting for a year for a very small amount of money I agreed to try it I was never able to get into the account and get the hosting to work I received telemarketing calls for the rest of that year and I told everyone that I was very dissatisfied with the hosting and would not continue to use it Remember this hosting was sold to me over the phone so I never was presented with nor agreed to any terms or conditions A little over a week ago my back account was charged $for another year of hosting (or maybe it is a month) Since I never agreed to this, I really don't know what the term of the charge is or even what it actually is When I called they I was told I could cancel (even though I never actually signed up for anything) because I was within days of the charge, and get a full refund

This company has consistently delivered substandard service, which also involved an extraordinary amount of time to correct (my website was down and it took them multiple days to restore it) The most recent issue has involved an unauthorized recurring chargeI tried to contact them by phone and they make themselves inaccessible!

Horrible experience!!!! I have been a domain investor for a while and manage a portfolio of 300+ domainsSome of my customers refused to accept domain transfers directly to 1&and complained about that registrar I was a little surprised because I was under the impression that all registrars are alike All it takes is to register the domain and point it somewhere Oh boy was I wrongThese guys manage billing unlike any other registrar that I worked with Instead of paying for the domain when you purchase it they make you open a billing agreement and then charge you unreasonable renewal chargesEven if you cancel the 'auto renew' (which is a story by itself), and delete the domain!! I was changed hundreds of dollars for domains that I already deleted from my account Couldn't get those charges reversed for over months Still kept receiving renewal emails, then collection emails They overdrafted my checking account in several occasions Brought Paypal to a negative balance (which I didn't even think was possible)After opening two Paypal disputes I might be able to get the money back (still an outgoing issue) In their responses to the disputes and email communications they still keep lying and making excuses so I might have to escalate this review to an open caseThis is just the billing experience Their 'new web interface' the worse 90's website that you can imagine You will not be able to locate or manage anything Every time I had to redirect a couple domains it was always a story of 2+ hours Managing auto-renewals or cancelling domains is impossible as I described earlierAvoid these scam artist even if that particular domain extension price looks attractive You will pay for it later if you won't

I would NEVER recommend this service to ANYONE! I subscribed to a monthly subscription to this company and purchased my domain name through themI got a call a couple weeks after my activation from a sales guy who talked me into upgrading my account for the same price I was anticipating payingMy balance did not change, as the sales guy promised! However, a couple days before the bill was due all of a sudden my subscription was “ MAGICALLY” changed to a yearly subscriptionWhen I called to inquire about the changes I waited mins on hold just to talk to someone who had very limited English speaking skills, and to have them state there’s nothing they could do except cancel my contract! They had NO explanation as to why I was being charged yearly vs monthly like I OPTED! He then transferred me to technical supportThe lady that took my call had to be reminded to pull my account notes up, also couldn’t explain the chargesI advised her I was looking to switch providers due to their less than helpful deminor and scam like proceduresThe lady told me it was in my contract that I couldn’t switch providers for days! I advised her that was not in my contract, and she couldn’t find it eitherShe then stated she was going to transfer me back to billing- as I was trying to advise her I wanted to speak with a manager in that department she cut me off mid sentence and cold transferred meI have been on the phone for minuets and still have no resolution! Take your money and business to businesses who care and will stand behind their product and services, and treat you like the paying customer you are!
