I've never written a Revdex.com review before, but the very rude rep I spoke with last told me to go ahead and do soHere we go! Extremely disorganized company with poorly trained representativesHave had to contact them times in weeks to resolve discrepancies with both billing and domain servicesUsually the reps can be heard whispering to somebody in the background, but when you ask to speak to a supervisor, they give you the run aroundThe explanation I got was: "She's coming, but she's getting her computer running so it will take awhile." ...never did get to speak with said supervisorIt seems like this place is ran out of somebody's house or something, with the casual attitude and lack of knowledge/security/professionalismSometimes you wait mins for a rep to get to you, sometimes nobody answers at allAll within the provided business hoursDidn't process my payment until over a week after I made the transaction, only to discover they double charged meSpent the better part of an hour with the confused and disorganized rep, as he tried to locate the duplicate charge...They have asked me to provide photos of my bank statement, credit card & drivers license, which I did initially after the first transaction issue, but declined to do so again the second and third time because they should already have them on file..? Quite concerned for the safety of my information, as well as othersVery scammy, indeedBuyers, beware

I had a very negative experience with this company I realized - after giving my info- that I had made a mistake I read the fine print and saw that I was agreeing to pay 200/month for hosting I called immediately - especially after reading that this biz is a commplete scam I was still charged after about a week- after being assured that they had canecelled membership I've had my information compromised in the past This is very scary to me and I'm very frustrated about the situation

1&turned me over to a collection company for a bill that I do not owe I have tried numerous time calling their office prior to cancel services of which I never ended up using but could not get thru the phone system they have in place once I did talk to a man named Joseph who told me he would connect me to the billing dept and no one ever answered the call I am at wits end and want this collection off my account asap

They cancelled my account and deleted my contract, according to customer service rep on call ID **SSN**, not due to a billing issue (they admit the money was there and there was never a late payment) but "BECAUSE THEY WERE UNABLE TO REACH ME." I have e-mail (on file with them), a phone (number on file with them), and a financial account JUST for their service They auto-billed me every three months without any problem and there were plenty of funds in that account for them to continue auto-billing me every months for over a year According to their call center representative, they extended an offer to renew my contract by e-mail once and made one phone call to me I had no idea that the hosting, domain name service, etchad even been cancelled I looked back through e-mails and there WAS an e-mail for a promotional offer that did not say the account would be cancelled or my files would be deleted Why would I automatically assume they would suddenly stop taking money and cancel everything? I'm baffled, bewildered, and devastated that the entire site I built is *gone- [redacted] because I didn't answer a phone call one day????? I've read a lot of reviews about this being a scam company and I have to say they are very bad at whatever they are trying to do If this were a scam, they should have continued withdrawing money and continued my access to my accountIf this were a legitimate business, they should have attempted more than contact to a valued customer before cancelling the accountI was warned when I selected 1andfor hosting, not to do it I chose them because of their remote serversMy friend who works in IT told me to pick G [redacted] instead I do regret choosing 1and I do not recommend themI am very sad about how this all turned out

I was a victim of credit fraud and identity theft and somehow 1&Internet got a hold of my credit card # and an order was placed for a web domain hostI did not place this order myselfI contacted my credit card company to immediately cancel my account and review all unauthorized charges1&have since sent several letters demanding payment and threatening to turn over my delinquent account to a collections agencyI have attempted to contact them via letter mail, email and phone and have not received a response

Someone stole my credit card information and charged something with 1&Inc The charge was fraudulent and 1&should not be seeking payment from me as I did not engage in any business with them

I have a single website account with 1and On September 1, I received an invoice for years worth of a service called [redacted] Basic for around $that I had not signed up for (my account already has [redacted] Basic in its regular pricing) I called them up and demanded that they remove this invoice / feature from my account and demanded that the invoice be cancelled I was initially told it would take hours for the invoice to be cancelled When it had not been cancelled within hours, I called them back later in the morning of September and informed them, this time being told it would take 24-hours to process the cancellation I also took efforts within my account to limit the maximum amount they could deduct from my account to $ On September 5, I noticed that my bank account had been charged the full amount () for the service I had not requested, but had been billed for ($142.56) I called the company to demand a refund and was told that it would take "7-bu

Really terrible service They make it very difficult to cancel or close your account and they keep billing you even after you've canceled your accountI called and asked them if I had an outstanding balance on my account First they said no, then they said yes I asked them if a certain domain was still on my account First they said no, then they said yes This company cannot be trusted

1andis the best web hosting we have found anywhere! Very prompt, reliable customer service, very fast upload speeds, and easy to use cpanel interfaceWe have migrated all of our accounts over to 1and1, and are encouraging all of our customers to do the same! Not only can you quickly and easily get live support on the phone (if needed), but they will actually call you backThey offer free privacy for the primary domain, many other nice extras, and their pricing is wonderful for the qualify and scope of service

I purchased their service (domain registration) in April for $not realizing I was put on auto renewal until my credit card was charged without my authorization in April for a much larger amount ($83.88) than it was charged in I disputed the charge with my credit card company and made a recorded three way calling to 1ANDin May 1ANDlocked my account but would not refund me the charge On July 11th, 2016, after my credit card company closed my dispute and recharged my account, we made another three way call to 1ANDto request cancellation to prevent future charges1ANDrefused to cancel my auto renewal stating they cannot cancel a locked account

1&(Complaint) Posted: March 21, RBPdoNotUseInternetSevices I was charged for a service I did not request, and locked into revolving contract without my consent or authorizationWhen calling 1&internet about this, they refused to help me, and so I am reporting this company to the Revdex.com, and to every place so that this doesn't happen to many more unsuspecting people Other online complaints state that, this company ignores their request to cancel and turns them over to a collection agency right away

to start I have been a customer of 1andfor almost yearsMy complaint is not that of a fly by frustrated person, but a person who has been with the company for sometime to be dismissed with such easeMy website stopped working and after calling 1and1.com I was told that the domains had expiredNow I updated my information over the last years and 1andisn't the most reliable on that endAt any rate, I was not contact by 1andin regards to the situationI called and was told that I need to pay $to restore my domains/website I paid the fee and was told that it would take 24hrs to restoreThe next day, I go to the domain and it reads that the domain can be purchased by calling another numberI call 1and1.com once again and was told that it will be restored within 2hrsThe next day (Wednesday), I see the domain is still for sale online, I call 1and1.com and I am told that I have to pay more money to get back my domain names $each or so for a yearThen I'm told I

I purchased a domain name from 1andonline; I paid with a [redacted] credit card; I received a confirmation email that my domain was activated but when I went to my account control panel on 1and1.com I could not find my domain being available; after calling customer service I was told that my domain was hold for security reason and had to call a certain number; this number had only a answering system telling me to leave a message to report if my domain name got abused which was not the case except by 1andthemselves I finally concluded...Then I found an email from 1andasking me to send them a copy of a valid ID confirming it was me who purchased itAs I am not an American citizen yet but I am living legally between the country of Colombia and the US I took myself a picture of my Colombian passport opened at the page of my long term American visa with the American Visa card I paid my new domain withApparently they still didn't accept it because it has been days now that they

I have never had this much trouble this soon after starting an account with a businessThe initial issue was that as soon as I purchased a domain with hosting and private registration, I started getting emails, phone calls, and text messages offering me services for web hosting, design, and development, all for my new domainThis included scams, spam, and phishing attemptsAll hours of the dayConfused, as I opted for the private registration, yet clearly every web development service got ALL of my contact information, I found that, not only do they automatically enroll you in ALL contact offers via ALL communications options, but your private registration is defaulted to OFFIn other words, before you are even aware the default settings are this way (because they do not warn you at all), your personal information is being sold to everyone and anyone all around the worldI turned off the contact options, activated the private registration, and told every caller that wasn't a robocall to take me off the list, and I'm still getting spam email, scam texts, and phishing calls, some claiming to be from GoDaddy, some from 1&1, some from Designs, and others claiming to be with the IRS and/or FBI, threatening with warrants for my arrest, though it has gone from 30-per day, to 3-per dayBefore that, I got or spam emails and phishing calls PER YEAR!After that issue seemed to be resolved to the maximum extent possible, it was a simple problem with my payment being declined, yet on my PayPal account used to pay it, it was pending, waiting for the company to confirm chargesUpon closer inspection, I realized there was another invoice for instant domain with a completed payment, with a matching, equal, pending payment on my PayPal account for the same invoiceWhen I called the 24/support line, I received an automated response saying I called outside of business hoursThe only way to get through to support was to go to the support page, submit the feedback that I couldn't find the solution I was looking for (because it isn't on the support center to begin with), and request a call backThe first person to call back had to get all of my information to confirm my identity, which is interesting since my telephone pin should do that, but they need my full name (last name was not enough), my account id number, my phone number, and the telephone pinThis representative listened to my issue, then said it was an issue for accounts and billing, but they were only available 9am to 5pm, Monday-Friday, and the 24/support was for Tech Support ONLYI told him I work during that time, and there was no way I could call, and he told me that was my only option and there was nothing I could do otherwise(Apparently there is no way to put a ticket in and have them communicate via email)I told him I would do what I could, but that I was highly disappointed, and the conversation endedI had a third purchase (a bulk purchase of instant domains) pending, and to avoid further complications until this one was solved, I decided to cancel it until I was sure billing issues could be resolvedUnfortunately, all I got was an errorIt seemed the only thing I could access was everything except canceling itIn order to avoid ANY further charges, I attempted to turn off auto-renewal on my domain hosting, only to have it confirm that I had successfully done so, then show that it was still onI called back and was again told I was calling outside of business hours, having to use the support center feedback workaroundI explained what was happening, and was told it was an issue for their security department and that they were only available from 9am to 5pm, Monday through FridayI became frustrated, as this was clearly a tech issue, NOT a security issue, but he insisted he could do nothing, so I told him to just forget about it, I wasn't going to call security, because there was no security issue, there was a tech issue, and that was itI decided to cancel all my contracts, and after several frustrating attempts over hours, I was able to cancel and confirm cancel of ONE of the three, the one they already collected onI immediately went to a competitor and got a hosting and domain plan with them with ZERO of the complicationsI planned to transfer my remaining domain to them once I had the chanceI went to Paypal and canceled all Pre-Approved payment agreements with 1&to avoid any more suspicious transactions from showing up, until this completed and also pending status was resolvedSo a few days later, I went in to unlock the domain and transfer it to my new service provider, and all of my contracts were cancelledI thought I was goodI went to PayPal to check my balance, as I planned to purchase some other domains from my new provider, and found that the domain and hosting contract payment was completedIt was also still pendingAfter checking the details, I found a new pre-approved payment agreement had been authorized with 1&WITHOUT MY CONSENTI knew I wouldn't be able to get ahold of accounts and billing, because I work when they are open, so I figured I'd dispute the suspicious transactions, (currently being investigated by PayPal), and delete my account on 1&Only problem is, when I log into my account on 1&1, using my ID, not the canceled domains or hosting ids, It tells me I can't use control panel because I have no contractsI can't get to my account information, but my payment information, personal information, and contact information, is all still there, because when I go to cancel.1and1.com, it shows my account is active, shows no contracts to cancel, but go to the account link at the top and the window shows all my personal info, with options to access themTry to access your account, and it tells you that you can't use control panel because you have no contractsI called support againMy account ID was accepted, my pin was rejected, it transferred me, It gave me "push forpush for..." optionsThe first, sent me to the "You're calling outside of business hours" messageI hung up and called againIt didn't ask for my account ID, just my telephone pin, which worked this timeI chose option two when it transferred me, and stayed on the line past the next option, and was connected to tech supportI told them I couldn't access my account data, it just kept telling me I had no contractsThey informed me that this was a security issue, and security has locked my account and I would have to call them during business hours to get any assistanceAt this point I lost itI told him I wasn't calling anyone, and my contracts are canceled, I had cancelled pre-approval with paypal, TWICE, and just wanted my entire account removed from their serviceI told him I was tired of the spam and phishing attempts, and I was tired of the tech issues, and that support can't help me with anything, only transfer me to other departments that aren't open, or ask me to call them when they know I can'tI said, just delete the accountHe informed me that was a matter for their cancellations department, and guess what their hours areI demanded he push a ticket to the department, to have them close the account, and to call me or email for confirmation if they needed itHe said he could call me tomorrow during their open hours and transfer me to them to do itI refused and insisted he put a ticket in to the cancellations department, and have my account removed immediatelyHe said he would, and it could take a while, not 3-business days, a whileI told him, I assumed it was long enough for more double charging of my paypal account and unauthorized authorizations, and that if I saw one more transaction completed for 1&I would not only file a complaint here, I would be contacting an attorneyHe told me that he would put a note on my file for cancellations to remove my account and when I again said they could email or call for confirmation, he said they wouldn't need to because my account was verifiedFunny they still have to verify it for every support callThat is my entire interaction with 1&over the course of or weeksI am currently waiting for PayPal to finish their investigation of the transactions, and for confirmation that my account information was removedAs it stands, I would NEVER recommend this company to ANYBODY, not even a sworn enemy, and the only thing that will keep me from going from a negative review, to a filed complaint and a call to an attorney will be no further paypal transactions, and the deleting of my account from their records PERMANENTLYI don't even want the domains anymoreI just want 1&to stay out of my bank accounts, and out of my lifeThere is no salvaging this relationship with a reply that regurgitates the first sentence with minor rewording, makes claims of compensating for losses and undue stress, and offers the customer service they should have offered from the beginningFunny how they don't care about your satisfaction until you expose them for what they really areScam ArtistsPure and simpleUnethical, nickel-and-diming, scam artistsI want them out of my life forever, so I can wash my hands of this, and move on with my new provider, who offered their quality customer service from initial interest, not waiting until after complete failure like 1&

This is the most dishonest company I have ever had to deal with I paid for this service upfront I did not use it or publish a web site My loss Before the end of the paid one year term, they notified me that they were about to bill me for the next year I cancelled the domain name and made sure the reoccurring billing was checked NO They billed me anyway Thank goodness the bank had changed my account number When they contacted me, I told them that I did not want their service and they should not have billed me I was told they wanted a $cancellation fee I have not intention of paying this fee In Texas this is called "Deceptive Trade Practices" They are now trying to bill me for a service that I do not use, do not want, and will never use There are now Revdex.com complaints against this company I guess Germans cannot figure out how to earn money the honest way

they are a domain and hosting companyi purchased several domain packages and cancelled the auto renew option as well as cancelled the contract months before it was set to auto renew and they keep billing me for the packagesin order to cancel a package you have to enter your customer id and password three different times, they don't make it easywhen I finally got a customer service rep to address the issue their statement verbatim was ( of course they do not provide names or id #'s) " Dear [redacted] (Customer ID: [redacted] ), Thank you for contacting us If you use the online cancellation feature, it asks you to call in to confirm it or contact us in some wayThis is for security reasons to verify it was you who wishes to cancelIf you do not contact us, it assumes it was either a wrong action or someone else who was in your account tried to cancel it, and no further action is taken If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us at ###-###-#### Sin

Back in February, I made the mistake to fall for a offer of 1&days later I received a notice for an upcoming charge of I cancelled the contract and my account (prior to the due date of the upcoming charge for a product I did not order or use) removed Paypal and contacted the phone supportThe phone agent told me that they will remove the chargeA while later I received a payment reminderAt this point, I did not have access to the cancelled account anymoreAgain, a phone agent told me not to worry and that the account was closed and no payments dueI also replied to their email and they wrote back: "This account is already closed"minutes ago, I received a threat they would give the case to collection agencyComplaint is filedLooking at the unusually high number of complaints all I can say is: Don´t do business with this peopleThey are shady and disorganized and it´s not worth the troubleTheir offer is not even special and all other companies I have and had websites with do not act this way

I wasn't informed about the charges made on my card and only discovered it when I went to see my account statement I cancelled the services but was still charged for them in addition to more services I didn't even order

On Monday Jan30th of 2017, my customer came into my restaurant letting us know that our website was taken downWe then went to log into our account to see what was the issue, 1&took down our wed domain meaning that even though we had paid our service fee of $some dollarsAt this point I wanted to know what had happenedWhen I called I was able to get a very rude customer service rep who would continue to tell me that it was my fault that this happened, he told me that I still had two new balances due for my domainWhen I asked him why my domain balance was not included in my yearly fee he talked over me and proceeded to tell me that thats not how it is done and that I must pay that fee; with no proof and it was not their issue that I had to pay I'm all ready frustrated due to the fact that everything I asked I was never given an answerWhen I asked to speak to a supervisor he put he "on hold" for minutes to then tell me that his superior is on her hour lunch br

On June 6th, I contacted 1&to cancel all of my services through them after having a terrible experience with their productsI was told all services were cancelled and even sent a confirmation numberNearly a year later I receive a bill for the very services I requested be cancelledI was told that two accounts were open (somehow sharing the same email address and information) and that my request to cancel all services only pertained to one of those accountsWhen a customer requests that all services be cancelled, the customer has no knowledge of the structure of the companies user database, so it must fall to the business to cancel all services under that customers identifying information
